Where the hell are people streaming Work? It's not on Spotify or Youtube, and Tidal is just laughable. Is it getting huge Apple Music streams or something?
Also, wow, just goes to show how unstable everything from spot 5 downwards is becoming. Now I'm really interested to see what Pillowtalk's gonna do. #4 maybe?

Now that they've increased digital value, what about a flamboyant no.1 debut? I mean, it attracted so many views on YouTube as well

"Work" debuts at No. 1 on Digital Songs (126,000 sold in its first week; the song sold that sum in just more than a day holy f**k How is that possible? It didn't have THAT big of a lead. I think because it was for sale on Tidal as well?

Why are sales increased if they are falling? Shouldn't they have LESS influence on the formula?

Before we go, a math-related note: As of this week, a slight change is implemented regarding the Hot 100's methodology (as is occasionally done), moderately tempering the influence of streaming, due to its hefty growth over the past year, while also increasing the contribution of digital song sales. With the formula change, which also affects Billboard's genre-specific hybrid charts, the ratios for the three contributing sources to the Hot 100 (sales, streaming and airplay) are more equally balanced, with streaming still the most dominant factor as it has been for the past few months.
Rihanna paying all these people to create an illusion of success is a mess.
Anyway, congrats to Bieber!

^They shouldn't be doing that when ever they feel like it.
Do it in November when their chart year ends or do it at the beginning of the calendar year.

Well, with this new change to the formula, looks like Hello and Sorry are about to drop hard. As long as SO doesn't tank in sales this week, it's pretty much guaranteed to pass Sorry (though still gonna go down a spot due to being double-blocked by Zayn and Drake), and Hello probably lost most of its lead over My House. Might be out of the top 10 soon.

Major formula changes have historically been done at a chart year. Tweaking percentages of weights happens all the time.

I didn't see anything unusual with the Work clip, just a still image of the ANTI album art. Did they change it from something else?

Ooohhhh, I've never heard either song before; I thought people were talking about the visual element. In that case, wow!

Most interesting top 10 action in weeks! Nice to see Love Yourself at #1! 2 Selena Gomez songs in the top 10, I remember her early chart days when she struggled to even get a top 20 peak Flo Rida gets another top 5 hit! Who knew that he won't be a one hit wonder and only Adele in 2015 can break his digital opening sales record
