I don't like AOAL, but it would be a shame if it peaked at #11 If you don't like it, then where does the shame come from? It's like saying: "Ah! Look at the dry and boring Coldplay's new mediocre single that sounds like a cheap video game track! It peaked at No.11, and I should cry all day about it! Such a shame! Poor Coldplay!"

So I guess we're getting the chart tomorrow because today is a holiday?
Prediction:
1. Love Yourself 2. Stressed Out (sadly I also think this will end up peaking at #2...) 3. Sorry 4. My House 5. Hello 6. Work 7. PILLOWTALK 8. Me, Myself & I 9. Roses 10. Hands To Myself
If Stitches is top 10 I'll eat my hat lmfao it's not happening.

Although I don't like the song, I do like them and it would be sad to have a song get really popular after their Super Bowl performance to end up peaking at #11, one spot from the top 10, which may not happen again or anytime soon

Well so much for WWWY relying on the Grammys, now she'll have to depend on the music video to have a chance to shoot up the charts.

Yeah All I Ask is the one she performed (which was quite shaky as well) so yeah probably WWWY won't be the #1 smash although we shall see maybe there's still a chance ;) I hope it still has a good chart run

Yeah. Sadly, I think the insane album sales during the christmas season just blew any chance for subsequent singles to get big off sales. I don't think 21 was even at 8 million by the time Rumor Has It rolled around, so I wouldn't be surprised if the rest of the singles don't make it further than the 10-20 area. Maybe WWWY (or All I Ask, if this is the song they're gonna push from now on) can sneak in a week or two in the top 10, but at this point I'm pretty sure the chances of any more #1 smashes from the album are done. Though the lack of a performance might hurt WWWY's chances.

Adele or her team probably don't care for another #1, just good enough chart performers to keep the album visible for a long time like 21

Speaking of GRAMMYs last year's top 2 songs Uptown Funk and Thinking Out Loud are the big winners

Really wish that 52 week rule didn't exist. UF! could've been one of the top 5 songs of all time right now, and maybe even top 3 eventually. :(

There's no way the Grammys would've given the song THAT much of a boost. The song still has pretty crappy radio and streaming right now. Chances are, it would probably just keep the song at a similar position as whatever it would've charted at for the next chart. Maybe in the 20-25 range, but even that's pushing it.

Probably gonna get a boost in the next couple charts, but not nearly enough to boost the song back to #5. Edit: Whoops, just realized he meant the all time charts. Guess it's time to go to sleep.

Speaking of GRAMMYs last year's top 2 songs Uptown Funk and Thinking Out Loud are the big winners How I wished Can't Feel My Face and Alright could've won the two big awards instead... Turns out you need to make it HUGE commercially to get a better nod at the Grammy... Look at Uptown Funk over the gorgeous CFMF, TOL over Alright, 1989 over To Pimp a Butterfly and Beauty Behind the Madness, and... Meghan Trainor over Sam Hunt and others... But glad to see Uptown Funk scores it and don't want to sound mean but I'm SO GLAD See You Again doesn't get anything lol.

Despite what some are saying, I will hold out hope for "Stressed Out" going to #1 on the Hot 100 until the bitter end.

For real, I mean it has only affected 4 songs. That's it. I don't see how 4 songs could be such a big deal for Billboard to make this stupid rule

The 52 week rule is in reality no big deal except for those doing their own all time charts with a straight up formulas.
Uptown Funk's standing among the all-time songs will not be affected.
And although the 52 week rule has impacted only 4 songs, that is 4 songs SO FAR. We will probably get 4 more this year.
Songs charting longer than a year are fairly commonplace now, there was a time when that was not the case.

Ultimately it comes across like most people are only upset about the rule because of how it affected "UF!"

LOL - yes
Just as UF was about to conquer the various all-time and decade prediction threads that are here it gets cut off.
Now it is harder to predict where it will ultimately land on the actual all-time charts.
Rest assured an adjustment in their formula will be made for this song and others like it, it would be silly not too. They adjust for other things already knowing that songs can't be compared across eras based solely on chart runs, I see the same thing happening here.
