If anyone is keeping track, Adele has said 'Hello' to 6 different spots in the top 10 so far (1-2-3-4-5-6) I remember they said before in that old Pop Shop (?) Podcast that the last song to be in each top 10 position was Blurred Lines? Or else Jason's Watcha Say. Really hope Adele can do it with Hello! |

a One Direction-related song that stayed in the top 10 for more than a week. Has that ever happened since What Makes You Beautiful? Usually they spend a week in the top 10 and then drop to the 20s or something. yes, "Story Of My Life" was in the top 10 for a few weeks. |

Sometimes it actually works to delay an album release after the first couple singles flop (although in this case they didn't completely), but sometimes they only dig the grave deeper. |

Well, it looks like Uptown Funk will probably beat out Silento on recurrent, since that song's slipped hard this past month. Next up, See You Again. So fitting that it's coming at Uptown Funk's 15th week at #1 there too. That is, if it doesn't drop out before then (which is a real possibility considering it's sitting at #45). |
