Into You only dropped 2 spots? Too Bad. I was hoping it fall harder - I didn't have it in the top 15 of my predictions. Also, who sings Move at #100?

The fact that "Can't Stop the Feeling" is DONE automatically makes this the best top 10 all summer '16.

I would SOOOOO much rather have had New Americana be #1 than Closer.

I would SOOOOO much rather have had New Americana be #1 than Closer. Oh God, no. That is one of the worst songs of 2015 and I don't want it anywhere near the charts ever again.

I would SOOOOO much rather have had New Americana be #1 than Closer. If this was a different Halsey song like Colors or Roman Holiday, I'd get it. But... really? New Americana? The song that instantly made me to decide to not listen to any more Halsey songs for the next 3 months? If anything, this is a huge improvement over that clumsily written, horribly forced piece of junk. If I ever have to hear that god-awful chorus again...

5. Ride (+1) (#1 on pop) 4. Heathens (=) (third rock act ever to have two songs in top ten simultaneously after Elvis Presley and The Beatles) What makes them rock?

They have a rock setup of drums and guitars (though not all of their songs use them, Ride and Heathens actually do). Keep in mind that some of the more experimental alternative groups still fall under the rock banner, which is why stuff like Fairly Local and Stressed Out were eligible last year for the label.

5. Ride (+1) (#1 on pop) 4. Heathens (=) (third rock act ever to have two songs in top ten simultaneously after Elvis Presley and The Beatles) What makes them rock? Musically, rock has centered on the electric guitar, usually as part of a rock group with electric bass guitar and drums.

Heathens (=) (third rock act ever to have two songs in top ten simultaneously after Elvis Presley and The Beatles) What makes them rock? what the two people above me said, as well as the fact that they topped the alternative radio format with three different songs. Heathens is also in the top 20 on the active rock format.

Musically, rock has centered on the electric guitar, usually as part of a rock group with electric bass guitar and drums. Sure, just based on the few songs of theirs I know their songs don't feel "rock." I don't consider "Stressed Out" to be a 'rock' song, for instance. "Heathens" is probably their most 'rock' song to date of the ones I know.

Frank Ocean racks up a bunch of debuts: 98. Nights 96. Solo 84. Pink + White 80. Ivy 79. Nikes [Top debut] Nothing off of Endless. All of those songs are album only purchases, which means they could only chart from Apple Music streams. The top two performing songs on Blonde, ranked by total streams, were Solo with 9.1M streams, followed by Nikes at 6.2M streams. www.buzzanglemusic.com/frank-ocean-blonde-tops-buzzangle-music-charts-august-19-2016/So why is Solo well below Nikes?

www.yahoo.com/music/chart-watch-frank-oceans-transatlantic-1-album-025035600.htmlChart Watch: Frank Ocean's Transatlantic #1 AlbumPaul Grein Writer August 29, 2016 Top SongsThe Chainsmokers’ “Closer” (featuring Halsey) holds at #1 on the Hot 100 for the second week. It’s #1 on Top Digital Songs for the third time in the past four weeks, having sold 143K copies in the past week. Major Lazer’s “Cold Water” (featuring Justin Bieber and MØ) rebounds from #3 to #2 in its fifth week. This is its third week at #2. Will it reach #1? Stay tuned. The song logs its fifth week at #1 on the U.K.’s Official Singles Chart. “Closer” and “Cold Water” also rank #1 and #2 on Billboard’s Hot Dance/Electronic charts. twenty one pilots have two songs in the top five this week. “Heathens,” from the movie Suicide Squad, holds at #4 for the third straight week; “Ride” jumps from #6 to #5 in its 24th week. “Ride” tops the 1 million mark in digital sales this week. The duo’s previous hit, “Stressed Out,” is up to 2,354,000. Billboard‘s Gary Trust notes that twenty one pilots is just the third duo to put two songs in the top five simultaneously. They follow Outkast, who doubled up for 14 weeks in 2003-04 with “Hey Ya!” and “The Way You Move,” and Macklemore & Ryan Lewis, who scored for three weeks in 2013 with “Thrift Shop” and “Can’t Hold Us.” Shawn Mendes lands his second top 10 hit as “Treat You Better” jumps from #12 to #10 in its 12th week. His breakthrough smash, “Stitches,” reached #4 earlier this year. Mendes’ new single, “Mercy,” debuts at #95. Both “Treat You Better” and “Mercy” are from Mendes’s second album, Illuminate, which is due Sept. 23. Will it match the #1 success of Mendes’s 2015 debut, Handwritten? Stay tuned. Justin Timberlake’s “Can’t Stop the Feeling!” drops out of the top 10 after a 15-week run. It drops from #9 to #12 in its 16th week. Lukas Graham’s “7 Years” tops the 2 million mark in digital sales this week. The song was #1 on Top Digital Songs for three weeks, but stalled at #2 on the Hot 100. It was the first song in two years to log as many as three weeks at #1 on the Digital Songs chart without reaching #1 on the Hot 100. The last song before this to do that? Ariana Grande’s “Problem” (featuring Iggy Azalea).
