Thanks for the positive feedback brady47 and everyone else who has done so as well! :)
I was wondering if I should make a separate thread for the 2000's hits since many of you (well more so gravey lol) are interested in that matter. What do you guys think?
Wow, 2nd page already.

You And Me and Higher were REALLY that low? I thought they were bigger hits. This is where Billboard's system comes into play. They both only had 6 weeks in the top 10. So despite their long chart runs, they were only able to get more than 14k points for 6 weeks. This is also why Stressed Out is so low and below Panda. Because it did not have enough weeks in the top 10. Think of it this way: for a song to reach the decade chart (let's say 700k cutoff) w/o reaching the top 10 would hypothetically take at least 49 weeks straight of charting at #11.

I'm curious about Fergie's hits like Glamorous, London Bridge and Fergalicious.
I have a feeling that Fergalicious (her #2 hit) was probably bigger than both of the other #1s.
EDIT: Based on George's numbers:
Fergalicious 603183 London Bridge 544083 Glamorous 605586
Fergalicious would've done well on the 2007 year end chart if it's complete chart run counted, considering Glamorous was #10 on the year end.

Hey georgetherunner314 apparently this is the order for songs not peaking number 1. Idk if official list or no. But I rage quitted in the comments saying "WHY IS I DONT WANNA KNOW NOT ON HERE" Take a look yourself and tell me what you think. Before it gets to the songs that made decades top 100, the songs before that are all out of order from the ones you did points on, so I have no idea

Before it gets to the songs that made decades top 100, the songs before that are all out of order from the ones you did points on, so I have no idea Hmm, I definitely don't think it's an official chart; he probably developed his own system for the songs as many of the longevity hits seem to be much higher than they should with my system. My system should not have an error of more than 20k in my opinion, but here are the positions of those songs, according to Mark Oswalt's video and my point calculations for them: 29 Drops Of Jupiter - 690,690 30 The Sweet Escape - 706,073 31 Use Somebody - 587,210 32 Don't Cha - 689,748 33 The Reason - 696,399 34 Hit ‘Em Up Style (Oops!) - 675,123 35 You And Me - 546,114 36 No Air - 686,844 37 A Thousand Miles - 683,703 38 This Love - 684,645 39 Before He Cheats - 513,143 40 In The End - 656,554 41 Boulevard Of Broken Dreams - 713,018 42 Heartless - 703,105 43 Lips Of An Angel - 669,408 44 With You - 705,943 45 Picture - 528,483 46 Chasing Cars - 579,605 47 Unwritten - 614,640 48 Party In The U.S.A. - 550,550 49 Disco Inferno - 667,149 50 Be Without You - 650,769 Songs missing X You Belong With Me - 691,589 X What’s Luv? - 676,661 X I Don’t Wanna Know - 673,563 X Wherever You Will Go - 618,573

But the ones after Forever are all in the actual order of the decades chart, so I have no idea. The person who uploaded this most likely used the decade chart as reference for those songs and calculated the positions of the other songs using some other method that does not seem to be quite in line with Billboard's way of doing it.

You know, one thing just occurred to me mentioned in the post on that biggest songs that never hit #1 video. George speculated that the video is intended to follow Billboard's Decade-End point system, and that if the predictions here are true, then Radioactive should in fact be #1 and not Thinking Out Loud. But didn't Jason say in the Greatest of All Time thread he made not that long ago that Thinking Out Loud will be on the next update for it? Not to mention f**k You, which is essentially set for this list, was #25 on that video, while several other songs that have no chance were above it on that one, and Stay With Me was above Some Nights there, and there are a bunch of other things I could point out. So maybe that video uses the Greatest of All Time point system...? I don't know? If what Jason said is true, then I would think that to be the case, but I really don't know.
edit: Holy smokes, Before He Cheats only had two weeks in the Top 10, peaked at #8 and was #6 on 2007's Year-End chart? Am I reading that right?! If I am, that is just completely unreal.

Am I reading that right?! If I am, that is just completely unreal. I messaged Jason/mikeramp shortly after that and he told me that his calculations were mainly based upon the Mark Oswalt videos themselves. The GOAT and Decade-End charts use exactly the same inverse point system. This is made apparent by the fact that the 2000's decade-end songs line up directly with the GOAT chart. But, if that's not enough, I have also mapped out the GOAT song chart runs and have found them to fit pretty well with the assistance of some requisite multipliers and I intend to post the updated 2000's decade, 2010's decade, and an All-Time chart this week after the 10/01/2016 BB Hot 100 chart is released. The reason why songs like TOL should be much lower is that BB is reducing the amount of points songs have received (with weakening multipliers) post-2012 due to how stagnant the charts have become. I don't think those videos incorporated that fact.

OCTOBER UPDATE (10/01/2016)My system has been much improved since my first update as you can go see for yourself through the edits I made today on my first post. I now included the rankings of the GOAT chart and the 2000's Decade-End chart according to my new adjusted inverse point system. Also, feel free to tell me whether you prefer the table or the screenshots for these updates! Notes: - Love Yourself, the probable #1 of 2016, ends its run at #34 not even surpassing Trap Queen, last year's #4. Goes to show you how we have not had a massive hit this year.
- One Dance moves up to 35 though it'll move slower from now on as it is no longer in the top 10.
- Work remains at 48, Panda doesn't move up much at 90, and neither does Stressed Out (which is almost gone) at 96.
- Don't Let Me Down enters the decade-end chart at #95 this week already surpassing Stressed Out. Goes to show you what a solid 20 weeks in the top 10 does against longevity mainly outside the top 10 range.

Alright, let's see, what is there to discuss this time around? Hm... - Despite Love Yourself being the potential #1 of 2016, it's interesting how quickly One Dance is catching up to it here. - I honestly forgot that Break Your Heart was here. Ludacris is cool on guest verses, but this kinda bums me out that Can't Stop the Feeling, another one week #1, most likely won't make it. (Maybe the Trolls movie release will prop it up a little?) - Panda hasn't been declining as quickly as I thought, so it might stick around, but that's bad news for many. - Although I'm sure I won't end up finding the song amazing in the long run, it is nice that Don't Let Me Down may have a shot. However, with it about to fall out of the Top 10, it'll probably be a tight squeeze. - Seeing as Closer is running away with the #1 spot on the Hot 100, it won't be long before it's set, I reckon. - Up to the end of the 2000s Decade-End cutoff, there are 24 songs that I thoroughly like (would give 5/5 on the 5-point scale), but eight that I consider large pieces of trash (0/5).
And with the Greatest of All Time list, it's really interesting to see how much different the charts were back in the older decades, compared to today, where things like streaming and digital sales prop songs up. To say the least, it amazes me that there are a handful of songs there that had not even 20 weeks and are still here. Points for those eras must be pretty darn high, then! There must have been a lot of chart activity during that time period, with many of these songs averaging massive amounts of points per week.
Speaking of trash, my eulogy to our dropout: I kinda liked this song at first, but after it was overplayed I realized just how stupid it was. Not to mention there were many times where I would hear that intro and mistake it for the opening of Uptown Funk. Like, what use do I have for this song? Okay, maybe it'd be nice for the shore or tropical escape, but sexy chicks and baked goods will only go so far when I can just put on the song it's ripping off, an infinitely better song in every way, instead. I am glad that it did not last a year on the Hot 100. Hopefully it won't last a year on Sirius XM Hits 1's Weekend Countdown, either. Goodbye, Cake By The Ocean. You will not be missed. (At least not by me.)
Also, minor corrections: It's called "Shake It Off", not "Shake If Off", and See You Again had 19 weeks in the Top 10, not 18. Thanks!

I had SYA at 18 weeks in the top 10 because the week it charted at #10 I had input a #19. As a result, it has now moved up 2 more positions and is at #22. Also, you mentioned "points for those eras must be pretty darn high" for the All-Time chart. On the first post, I included the multipliers I used dating back to the first Billboard chart which can help you see how differently those eras were weighted.

Wow @ Closer already having that many points. It will definitely make the list eventually.

Just saying this but doesn't it seems that songs that are caught between decades more frustrating than between years. I think it's just me

Down? What about Smooth, one of the biggest hits ever? Smooth at least made 2 Decade charts.

"Smooth" made both the 1990's and 2000's decade-end charts. I think that goes to prove just how big of a hit it was.

Smooth definitely deserved the All Time #1 over Twist. Recalculate Billboard?

Heh, yeah, I guess back in the old days because there wasn't much to provide to make songs more massive, points must have been worth a lot more back then. That was kinda already explained, though. I do still find it interesting that it would own two different chart runs.

(Double post, again)
One thing that occurred to me is that Tik Tok is now listed in between Just The Way You Are and Dark Horse, which is not the case on Greatest of All Time. There, it's between Blurred Lines and Royals. And weren't only 32 of its weeks counted towards 2010(s)? Weren't its first six used up in 2009? And I doubt those six weeks would have pushed it back THAT much. So how did you come up with those point totals for GOAT and 2010 DE?
edit: So I calculated Tik Tok's six weeks from 2009 and got 61477, and added them to the current (reply #48) point totals for 2010, and ended with...1,114,985 points, which is give or take 300 more than george's GOAT totals on the OP. Hm.
