Sound the trumpets. This is the last chart of 2018. Four songs make an exit, giving us three new debuts. Among those debuts comes "Apollo". An  AAA only charting song that starts off its chart run with a massive appearance. Another Hot debut is from Wayfarers and a song called "Just Our Style" . It's actually from 2015 but it's fun , and bouncy and who's counting anyway? Pretty Boy Floyd return with "We Can't Bring Back Yesterday". It's the first Powerballad I'm charting from their 2018 LP "Public Enemies". The last debut goes to The Gorillaz. Gonna give a fighting chance to "Tranz", which is the best song I have ever heard from this band. The last Chart of 2018 keeps "Body Talks" at #1, I also have Ghost moving up one step closer to #1 and Def Leppard's "We All Need Christmas" leaping 6 notches into the top 10. I'm also bringing the World premier MV. The rest of the chart is full of very nice movement with older songs either making nice headway or getting ready to exit. HOT LIST: .Big week for my adds. I did my best to grabbed the best from all genres that I enjoy.  Let's begin with from brand spanking new music from The Raconteurs. I saw the thread for "Sunday Driver" and right away thought that's one made for me. There is so much going on with guitars here its mind blowing. This one should become a PULSE top 100 favorite too.  Up next we got a band I've been charting for few years now. Moving Units released their album "This Is Six". With no official single in sight, I'm choosing this New Wave track aptly titled "Burn Like Bowie". This is rocking hot. Especially if you love those 80's New Wave vibes. Going to Japan we find the all female, J-Metal band, LOVEBITES and their single "Don't Bite The Dust". The big difference between them and say Band-Maid is that LOVEBITES sing in English. This is the current #1 song on my Metal chart, so it's surely crossing over to the top 60 very soon.Let's take a rid to the Hospital and preview the Indie rock song "In The Evening". I discovered this band on Soundcloud, but to my surprise they have an official MV on youtube.   Our last trip tonight will be to Sweden. You guessed it. New Glam Metal from Crazy Lixx. "Wild Child" drops off my chart this week, so "Hunter Of The Heart" is getting ready to their run into 2019. The MV is  hoot. All the band members are at the gym trying to score with this hot, botox, plastic, babe, only to find out she bats for the other team. The fun part watching what happens to each guy as they desperately compete to try and win the babe's attention and fail miserably. Very funny stuff.

First chart of 2019 has some big surprises, some major kickouts and leaps as well. We have a clean slate so let's get the action rolling. A few highlights before we get into the debuts. Nickelback break their #31 curse and jump into the top 30, Pretty Boy Floyd leap into the top 40 in their second week on the chart, at 20 weeks on the chart "The Stigmata (Boys Don't Cry) leap into the top 20 proving EMO isn't dead yet. Finally last but not least Def Leppard throw the first surprise of 2019 by being the first #1 song of the year with their Christmas Ballad "We All Need Christmas". This is also in ode to my faithful chihuahua "Taco". He left us over the holidays. R.I.P. 2005-2018.  Now the debuts. The highest goes to Jack Black and his Raconteurs. The first time I listened to "Sunday Morning" I knew I would chart it. Fierce guitar mode from start to finish. Also thumbs down to Alt for for choosing to chart the "other' song first. Debut number two belongs to a Letters From The Fire track off "Worth The Pain" LP. I simply prefer Alexa Kabazie over the new vocalist and I always wanted to chart "Bruised" so better late than never. The last debut goes to Saint Motel's "You Fine" . This one sounds like "My Type" part II so I have to chart it. this new year I'm also changing the color codes. Purple is now Hot moves, dark red is debuts and () is still song's highest peaks. Ready? let's Go.

HOT LIST: . BEYOND THE BLACK is a symphonic Power Metal band from Germany. 'Heart Of The Hurricane" is the first track I'm adding off their album of the same name.  "Invasion" is the second single from British Heavy Metal band Wraith that goes for adds. This one has an even stronger Ratt vibe than "Dreamstealer".  A familiar face on my charts is back with a late entry off 2015's "For Life". I always liked the track "New Illusion" from PHASES. The last add is a song that I waited long enough for. It doesn't look like Alt charts are on board with the awesomness of MGMT -"She Works Out Too Much" so here it comes to a Doc Indie Party Rock chart near you.

This week we say goodbye to one of my favorite Power Ballads in the last few years. At thirty-five weeks on the chart "Sail Away" bows out as one of the top 5 songs of my music year 2018. Also leaving is Zoe's "Hielo" and Imagine Dragons with "Zero". This gives us room for three new songs. two rock jams and one surprising new song that is too great not to start charting right away. That song is the new song from White Lies called "Tokyo" . Loving the 80's NRG vibe of this one. The two rockers are two peas in a pod. First is Stephen Pearcy back on the chart with his new single "I'm A Ratt" that one is followed by British rockers Wraith. "Invasion" also has a very Ratt- ish vibe to it. Music and Title. Elsewhere in the chart we have Kitten's new single cracking the top 50 for the first time and The Raconteurs racing up 7 notches with "Sunday Driver". New to the top 10 is Ice Choir with their second top 10 song on my charts and Def Leppard keeps the Christmas vibe strong for one more week with "We All Need Christmas". HOT LIST:  Let's start of with some new Metal. BEAST IN BLACK's - "Die By The Blade" is taking things to a new level by mashing Power Metal with NRG Synths. The success of Ghost's latest album has sparked a rebirth of melodic Metal, so naturally many Swedish Metal bands will keep with this vibe. This song caught my interest because the synths . Even the melody of the verses sound a lot like "Dance Macabre", which I'm sure is the inspiration for this song. I hope more Swedish Metal Bands breakout on U.S. Active in 2019? Next we have new K-Pop from the girl group fromis_9. Their latest single is "LOVE BOMB". It has all the regular ingredients of a K-POP song. Catchy melodies, melodic rap verse, Aishu Bridge and ultra catchy chorus. It should easily explode onto my music chart in no time. "In Dreams" is the third track off the Simple Minds LP 'Walk Between Worlds" that I have decided to add to my playlist.  One more add for the week. This one was toss up between the new songs from  COIN and Save The Whale . Both songs have a great guitar vibe, but I decided on "Simple Romance" because I gave it a few more spins this week.

This is actually the first song I heard from them. "Blind and Frozen" was a great first listen. The song has even more depth to it. its amazing how he does both sets of vocals here. I'll definitely chart that one on my Metal Chart.  thanks.

The big news this week is Ghost back on top with new classic "Dance Macabre". This one hits the button on so many 80's Metal perfection its mind blowing. Also cracking the top 3 for the first time is "Noises" from Pale Waves. This one looks to be their first #1 song on my chart, but the wait could be more than they expect. Two songs enter the top 10. First out with one DIAMANTE song and in with another as "Haunted" becomes her 4rth top 10 song on my chart. Also new to the top 10 is AS IT IS with "The Stigmata (Boys Don't Cry)". This song gave me AFI vibes from the start. Speaking of AFI, let's get to our three new debuts. The highest being a track off AFI's new album titled "Trashbat". This one is fast and Furious and I love it. The last two spots are taken up by PHASES with yet another track off 2015's 'For Life' called "New Illusion" and new Indiepop from the band Hospital titles " In The Evening". There is plenty of more HOT action in the HOT list so don't forget to scroll down and check out some music so new it's still in the wrapper. HOT LIST: . Let's start off with a surprising new track off Papa Roach's latest album. I didn't really feel the vibe of their new material until I previewed "Feel Like Home". It's exactly what I wanted from the band. Guitar, guitar and more guitar. This surely felt like home to me. For my next add we go to the Hollywood Rock scene. Glad to know their is still one going on. Starcrawler is Alternative Rock's best kept secret. "Hollywood Ending" was thrown at me as an add right before the song I wanted to actually listen to, but I immediately loved how much they reminded me of Hole. In particular to one of my favorite songs of the 90's "Malibu". Spain is our next stop. El Ultimo Vecino are no strangers to my chart. I have managed to keep them on my charts for three years straight with songs from their album 'Voces'. "Parte Primera' is their 2018 E.P. and the first single "Donde Estas Ahora' will soon be making it's debut on this chart. For this next add we travel back to the U.S of A and check in with The Killers. Only its not that new ballad. No. Instead I decided to grab one more off 'Wonderful Wonderful'. I actually was planning to chart this one anyway, so "Out Of My Mind" will be next in line. Now for the big surprise. This time we head out to Australia and check in with Atlas Genius and a brand new track titled  "Can't Be Alone Tonight'. I hope this gets picked up by Alternative?  Either way, I believe my player says I've given this song 15 spins in a day and a half. Oh yeah. That's a future hit.

This week brings us a chart with a lot of action. We have four debuts in the top 60, but four songs also enter the top 40. That pushes three into the top 30, two into the top 20 and finally one song into the top 10, giving us a chart with a lot of movement. The four debuts consist of two exploding Bombs. First is new K-pop from fromis_9 titles "LOVE BOMB". This one incorporates what sound like Video game effects which compared to the boring elektronik crap -are actually very exciting. The second bomb is "Timebomb" the new single from Walk The Moon. The "Shut Up and Dance" guitar vibe of this new song, should push up my chart with ease. Debut number three is from ex Thompson Twins lead singer Tom Bailey. "Shooting Star" is the first track I'm charting off his 2018 solo album 'Science Fiction'. Finally My highest debut goes to Atlas Genius and a new song titled "Can't Be Alone Tonight". Atlas Genius had one of the most successful #1 songs in my chart history. I've been waiting for a big return from them, and this song is poised to go all the way to #1. Regardless of what happens on the music charts its sure to be huge on my chart. Let's not forget the #1 song again this week belongs to Ghost as "Dance Macabre" holds the crown for a second week. HOT LIST: . First off is a song I've seen on a few online music charts. I thought it was a new song, but Cheap Trick's - "Lolita" is actually off the album "We All Alright". Sounds a lot like 80's Cheap Trick so I'm adding it to this week's HOT LIST. Broods is about to unleash a new single onto Alt format, but instead I choose this more uptempo track titled "Hospitalized". The lyric MV is one of the stupidest MVs I've seen in my life, so enjoy the official upload instead. Also back are Five Finger Death Punch. They had a big hit on my chart last year with "Sham Pain". Never will understand the hate for the song?  This week I'm adding the long overdue Powerballad-like "When The Seasons Change" to the mix. Finally is new music from KING. Not the New Wave 80's band fronted by Paul King, but a new Indiepop band who also sounds kinda 80's, but more 80's Pop with cool female vocals. This one is a funky, and melodic bop, so give a shot and tell me what you think.

Metal Chart. I have a brand new #1 song from the J-Metal band Unlucky Morpheus. For this MV the bnad consists of Two guitarists, one bass player, one member on percussion, one on violin, and Fuki the lead singer., but I belive there are more members? Two reasons why this is my #1 song. First. It's Fierce. The American Active chart is becoming too slow for me. The Japanese usually like their pop and Dance music at fast speeds so it's natural they actually learn to play their instruments at fast speeds as well. The second "Cadaver" "Revadac" is my new #1 is because of its presentation. The MV is 9 minutes long because the song is first played normally, but for the second part of the MV the band reads the sheet music backwards and plays the entire song backwards. Even the video goes backward. To say this is epic is an understatement. The song sounds just a s great played backwards. It's all pretty mind blowing too. The single is an export from Japan, so it will probably cost me a cool 50 bucks to purchase, but I'll probably do it anyway. My second debut comes from AFM records. It's the band IRON SAVIOR with the song "Eternal Quest". If you like Judas Priest check out Iron Savior. Last but not least is Slipknot returning this week with "All Out Life". Kinda a shame it could push its way up to top 10 Active. It's pretty fierce.

Wow I barely recognize the members in this video compared to how they looked in "Shut Up And Dance". At first I thought the entire lineup changed.

Following last week's big action chart we have a relatively calmer one for this week. Ghost hold the #1 spot for a third strong week with Pale Waves inching ever so closer to that crown. New artists World Radio score their first Top 10 hit on my chart with the very 80's sounding "Love Me Not", and Halestorm jump back into the top 20 with a high peak for "Do Not Disturb". WE also have two debuts this week. The highest is  a late charting song from Five Finger Death Punch titled "When The Seasons Change" .A good power ballad that is currently in the Active top 5, and at #59 is "18" another track off Echosmith's latest E.P.. This is also one of my favorites off that album, so it should do well on this chart. More action on the HOT LIST and we round out this week's chart highlights with cover sleeves and Music Videos. HOT LIST: This week's adds begin with Ice Nine Kills.  Their new single is titled "A Grave Mistake". It's from their album "The Silver Scream" which carries the theme of horror movie titles for their songs. I was surprised to find they already released quite a few MVs from the album. They are all mini horror flicks with music. "Thank God It's Friday" features Jason. "The American Nightmare" is a take on 'Nightmare On Elm Street'. It even features the famous kids rhyme. I haven't figured which movie "A Grave Mistake" pays homage to? I'm guessing The Crow, cuz of the revenge theme?, but whatever, its still a bitchin' rock jam.  Black Honey is next with some great sounding female lead Alternative Rock.. The one I chose is "I Only Hurt The Ones I Love". Th video has a cool Old West look as the main theme.  My next add is from a band called FLY THE BAND, but there music is nothing like that other lovely band. This is pure Spanish Poprock. For my last add I was torn between two of my favorite rock bands. Buckcherry and Hinder. Both have new albums on the horizon and both first singles are great. I chose Hinder's "Halo" this week. It's a bit more Southern Saving Abel than Hair Metal Hinder, but it's damn catchy and sounds great on the radio.

This week I'm flashing back to two of the biggest hits from the bands who debut songs on this week's chart. Both of these were top 10 hits on my personal chart.



Echosmith - Come Together.
This was the first single off 'Talking Dreams' and one of my favorite videos and songs from the band. This is the song with the best guitar vibe, and this was when they considered themselves an Alternative Rock band. The MV pays homage to one of the biggest movies from the 80's. "Breakfast Club".




Also debuting this week are Five Finger Death Punch. "Battle Born" was one of the biggest Rock songs from 2013-14 and one of the best Powerballads of the time.

A classic 80's tune. Keep an eye out for this Nickelback tune. IT was my favorite off 'Feed The Machine' from the start.

[Doc Indie Party Rock]

It's official. "Dance Macabre" is #1 for a whole month. We have DIAMANTE's new song "Haunted" crashing the top 5 and two more hard rocking bands top 10 hits. Nickelback do it with "Coin For The Ferryman" making this their 26th time in my top 10. We also have new comers Lipz cracking the top for the first time with "Scary Man". This week the debuts belong to the world of Hard Rock. At #60 is Ex Vixen lead singer Janet Gardner with a double a-side charter. One is the semi- power ballad "Candle" with a great guitar solo, and on the flip side we got the hard rocking "Rat Hole". Both are from her 2017 self titled solo album, so I'm doing a double charter. The second debut is from another 2017 album from The Defiants. A few years back I charted "Underneath The Stars", but I recently rediscovered this great album and decided to bring on "We All Fall Down". It s a fast Bon Jovi -like rocker that should perform just fine on this chart. The last debut is a song that I mentioned last week. I said I was gonna debut Hinder first, but as luck would have it Buckcherry is back on Active chart, so my highest debut is naturally their new single "Bent". Rock might dominate this week's chart debuts but scroll on down to the HOT LIST where the world of Alternative rock takes center stage. Hot Moves belongs to the color purple, Red is for Debuts, and () is always song's highest peak to date.

Cage The Elephant start off this weeks biggest adds on my Foobar player with their first single for 2019 titled "Ready To Let Go'.  Like always this has a super cool Psychedelic vibe. very weird MV that I'm sure will give the Illuminatti freaks all sorts of reasons to hate it, but it still rocks.  Up next are Weezer with a very cool title for a song. "Zombie Bastards" is the first track I'll be charting from the "Black" album. This is a massage message for all old songs on Alt chart that have to GTFO. Cage The Elephant -  Take It or Leave It
This one is probably the most poppy I've heard from the band, but it still had that psychedelic vibe I love from them. Making this one of my most favorite songs from the band. 




Weezer - Buddy Holly
For this band I had no other choice than my favorite ever from their first Ric Ocasek produced album. The music video was one of the most innovative ones of its time. Meshing the band with some Happy Days episodes was true magic, and watching the Fonz throw the moves was priceless.

[Doc Indie Party Rock]

A great chart this week brings a lot of upward movement. Both Ghost and Pale Waves score 20 weeks on the chart and both hold down the top 2 spots. With 5 weeks at #1 "Dance Macabre" becomes a six star song guaranteeing the song at least two more weeks at #1. Getting to the debuts. We have three. At #59 we have icons Cheap Trick with track #5 off 'We're All Alright!'. I think this song should have been a single. El Ultimo Vecino are back on the chart with "Donde Estas Ahora" and at #60 is new indie rock band Black Honey with some cool sounding Alternative rock titled "I Only Hurt The Ones I Love". In other news we have a few big jumpers from Wayfareres, Five Finger Death Punch, and of course the new Buckcherry single which leaps 11 notches in its second week on the chart. More action on the HOT LIST and a brand new Metal Chart round out this week's highlights. Purple =Big Moves. Red = Debuts and () is song's highest peak to date.

HOT LIST: . There are already quite a bit of hot tarts in my waiting list , but this week I'm adding three more making the competition even tuffer to get into the top 60. Starting off with a Sleeze Metal song with strong Guns N' Roses vibe from the band Love Razor. "Venom" was already a big hit on my Metal chart so I'll test its sting on my top 60. Back with more of that fun rock vibe are The Interrupters. This week I'm adding their latest single "Gave You Everything". My last add is a song I discovered on Youtube Titled "Monster" This female fronted band has a bit of that old school Paramore sound. Even the song's titles reminds of Paramore. They fall into everything from Electronic Rock, to Pop punk, to Hard Rock, but to me Crashing Atlas just sounds good with the melodies and vocals.

Weekly Metal Chart: A top 10 Metal chart without Buckcherry? Only because the song debuted so fast on my actual chart that I figured I'd save the slot for new seeking heat, Metal Music. Three debuts this week. Cherry Glazer has some Grunge elements but also some hard rock vibes. I have Starcrawler on the HOT LIST, and "Wasted Nun" can grace the Metal chart for a while. I always sorta knew it would be the female rockers who would be resurrecting the Rock scene. A new debut at #10 from Weezer's covers album. This time it's their version of the Black Sabbath classic "Paranoid". Its actually a pretty good by the numbers cover. No B.S. and Rivers sounds great. The highest entry comes straight in at #1 from Glam Metal icons Whitesnake. They are now on Frontiers Music label and are back with a new single and great 80's looking video to go along. This is the kind of party I fit right into. All its missing is Tawny Kitaen sexing up the Jaguar.

We are just about to witness some big changes in the top 10 in the weeks to come, but this week the top 3 songs remain the same bringing "Dance Macabre" to it's 6th week at #1. Crashing into the top 5 is Nickelback with "Coin For The Ferryman". The hype is out that there might be new Nickelback material on the horizon, so I'll be patiently waiting on that. Meanwhile two new songs enter the top 10. Fickle Friends is still one of the most successful indiepop bands on my charts so naturally  "Bite" becomes  the third track off "You Are Someone Else" that goes top 10 on my chart. At #10 we have Halestorm with their latest single "Do Not Disturb". I've charted all Halestorm's singles, but the last time they went top 10 on my chart was way back in 2013 with "Mz. Hyde". I really dig the sleazy vibe of "their latest single especially with her female vocals. On with the debuts. Simple Minds with "In Dreams" anchors the top 60. COIN are back on the chart with "Simple Romance". Its a shame this one didn't catch on on Alternative chart, since I think its their best effort since "Talk Too Much". The highest debut goes to The Interrupters for their new single "Gave You Everything". This one is on fire going from HOT LIST add to top 60 debut in just one week. More vids and sleeves round out the chart's highlights. Including the new one I made for "In Dreams".I tried to give it the same vibe the sleeves for their last two single had. Debuts in Red. Significant moves in purple and () will be song's peak to date.

HOT LIST: My only add this week requires we take a ride on my 80's Metal glam machine. "Hunter Of The Heart" the last single off Crazy Lixx's  2017 album, but sounds like it fell out of a 1988 Glam Rock LP. Crazy Lixx are another band riding high on the 80's Metal revival coming out of Sweden. You can also Scroll down to my New Metal chart to get a preview of something brand new from Crazy Lixx. Crazy Lixx are also responsible for the song XIII feaatured  on the Friday The 13th video game. "Dance Macabre" holds the #1 position for a 7th week. The question is? Will Pale Waves get their day in the sun or will DIAMANTE overlap to get her 3rd #1 hit? This week we also have the Canadian Indierock band The Zolas scoring their first top 10 hit on my chart. I'm actually really getting into this song now, so it could still go strong in its 20+ chart run. The big news is this week's big DEBUT. I'd be lying if I didn't admit to totaly loving this song.  It's The new Mötley Crüe single recorded for their upcoming Netflix autobiography. "The Dirt (Est. 1981) feat. Machine Gun Kelly" really doesn't sound like 1981 Crüe, but it doesn't matter because it's still awesome. M.G.K who plays Tommy Lee in the film has some shout out parts in the song. It actually adds to the sleaziness of the song's vibe, so I'm cool with that. The good news is this is a Mötley Crüe reunion too which means new songs, and as long as they stay away from "Generation Swine" sound everything should sound stellar. My other two debuts are just as exciting. At #60 is a belated track off MGMT's last album. "She Works Out Too Much" is too 80's not to feature on my chart. The last debut goes to BEYOND THE BLACK for a great symphonic Metal track titled "Heart Of The Hurricane". New Music Videos and sleeve art and we are ready to go. Red is debuts, Purple are Hot moving songs and () is song's lucky number.

HOT LIST: Three songs from the world of Indie music make their debut on my HOT LIST adds. Two of these acts I have charted before. The third is another Strokes related side project. Marina is back without her Diamonds. She has charted here with "FROOT", "Blue" and her first hit here "Hollywood". "Handmade Heaven" is a new classic Marina ballad. Her vocals are my favorite aspect to her music. Sundara Karma have aslo had success on my personal charts. "Higher States" is their new single from the upcoming LP 'Ulfilas’ Alphabet '. I hope this song finds its way onto Alt charts too. I DONT KNOW HOW BUT THEY FOUND ME is another Strokes related project. I'll take anything with Strokes guitar vibes, and this song has the goods. Also on Alt chart this week is the song "Choke". I love this music video too much.

Special showcase: Ever wonder what music I was into in the 90s'? It was called Eurobeat. fast uptempo hi energy dance music inspired by 80's Italo disco created in Italy and made for the Japanese market. One of my favorite aspects of the genre was the fast guitars. Most of the producers of the genre were also in Rock bands. This is a great video which breaks down the main ingredients of the genre. This genre also makes up for about 70% of my enormous vinyl collection. Also a couple of my genre favs.

[Doc Indie Party Rock]

This week we have a brand new #1 song as Pale Waves rises to the top. Both "Noises" and "Dance Macabre" entered my weekly  chart the same week and after 23 weeks Pale Waves dethrone Ghost to score their first #1 song on my chart.  DIAMANTE's  "Haunted" has even more weeks on the chart and this week she rises up one more notch to #2. We also have two new songs in the top 10. Pretty Boy Floyd score another smash off "Public Enemies" with the powerballd "We Can't Bring Back Yesterday", and at #10 is the first ever top 10 hit for the Alternative Rock band A Perfect Circle. They had a couple minor hits on my chart in 2000, but nothing has ever clicked with me the way "So Long and Thanks For All The Fish" did this year. Keep your eye on these two. At 11 and 12 weeks they are relatively new to the chart and will no doubt continue a steady upward pace to the top. We also have three new debuts. New Indierock from West Australia's Foreign Architects and their track "Saw Myself". This one reminds me a bit of Atlas Genius especially  how the synths come alive in the chorus. . Very catchy. At #59 are the Swedish Sleaze Rockers Love Razor with "Venom". This one has strong Guns N' Roses and  Mötley Crüe vibes. The vocals are Very cool.  My highest debut is from the charts reigning champions Pale Waves. Yes it s time for a new single and here they come "One More Time". This one has a nice mix of late 80's and early 90's poprock vibe.  If it was a crime to be this catchy this band would be doing hard time. They are also my showcase band of the week so scroll down to check out a few more of their new MVs in rotation. last but not least keep your ear on Mötley Crüe's latest single with MGK. This one leaps 16 slots to #24 in its second week in the chart. Some cool new Music vids and home made sleeve art will round out this week's chart highlights. Red are the debuts. HOT LIST: Got only one new Add this week, but it's a certified future top 10 hit, and one I really love from the get go. It's a track from the new Foals album. It's crazy how these bands that haven't impressed me in the past are suddenly releasing material that pretty much sets me on fire.  You guessed it.  Foals - On The Luna. This one blasts off from the intro so if you too slow you will be stuck on Earth while the rest of us are "On The Luna.

I have to revisit that Pale Waves album... there were some great songs in it.

We have a terrific chart this week. Let's start off with 3 great debuts. Heading the pack is the band Ice Nine Kills scoring their first hit on my chart with "A Grave Mistake". Keeping the Metal vibe alive is Nuclear Blasts very own BEAST IN BLACK. They have a few singles from 'From Hell With Love' floating around, but I'm debuting the very melodic Power Metal sounding "Die By The Blade". For their new title track scroll down to my new Metal chart. The highest debut goes to Alternative Rock icons Cage The Elephant. It's the new Alternative chart #1 song titled "Ready To Let Go". Pale Waves hold strong to #1 with "Noises", and we have one new entry into the top 10. It's the Swedish Metal band Grand Design with their ode to Def Leppard ballads on "Love Shouldn't Hurt". Rest of the chart has some exciting movements. Mötley Crüe's new single jumps up another 9 notches into the top 15, but we also have some upward climbs from The Night Flight Orchestra, White Lies . Pale Waves, and , Death Cab For Cutie who are just outside the top 20 with "Northern Lights". "Northern Lights" is also just outside the actual Alternative charts , so this one will keep moving up on this chart as well.  I'm finally able to showcase the official MV for "Bent" so Buckcherry puts the cherry on top for this week's list.  Dark Red are your debuts. HOT LIST: My first add is a song from 2014 that I came across on Youtube. Don't know anything about the bad except they are called Le Cassette and they have a fierce 80's synthpop song on their album 'Left To My Own Devices' titled "Radio". I'll leave a link to the song and the album for those who want a blast to the past. This has some serious 80's vibes.  My next add is the second single from The Struts latest album. "In Love With A Camera" doesn't have a MV yet, but they did perform at the Victoria Secrets 2018 affair. I hope they make the music Video out of that footage? I did make a cover for the single tho.  For my last add we welcome back Rob Thomas . He's got a new uptempo single titled " One Less Day (Dying Young)". Loving the Irish/Scottish music theme that closes out the song too. It's making waves on the HOT AC chart and should do fine on this chart.

New Metal Chart: The New Metal music chart is back this week. Whitesnake still have a grip at the #1 song. New singles from Crazy Lixx and Lipz are zooming up the chart. A few weeks ago I heard New Years Day's "Skeletons and fell in love with it. I was hoping they would send it to Active? Just my luck they sent the crappy sounding hybrid thing called "Shut Up" instead. I'm sticking with "Skeletons" as my new female hard rock jam of the week. Moving on with the actual debuts. I got new Power Metal from BEAST IN BLACK and Messer find their way onto my chart with the generic but also pretty catchy single "Simple Man".

It all started with "Coming In Hot" almost two years ago and just last year she and label mates Bad Wolves scored with the huge Power ballad "Hear Me Now". This week DIAMANTE scores her third #1 song on my chart as "Haunted" moves into the top spot. The massive action continues this week as Mötley Crüe invades the top 10 with that little slice of Sleaze Metal heaven "The Dirt" feat. Machine Gun Kelly. The movie's soundtrack is awesome and features some of the band's biggest hits as well as new singles that will no doubt be future hits on my personal chart. The band is also my showcase band of the week. Which means you get to find out what my top 10 favorite Mötley Crüe songs are. Moving on to the three debuts. We got three completely different styles ,but all songs you could have heard in the 80's. Indie New Wavers Moving Units lead the pack at #60 with a new single "Burn Like Bowie". The always present Glam Metal vibe is brought to us by Crazy Lixx and there song "Hunter Of The Heart". The highest debut is my pick hit from last week from the synthpop band Le Cassette ,and their blast from the past "Radio". New Vids and Sleeve art and we are ready to go. Red are your debuts. HOT LIST: To balance out the strong Hard Rock vibe of my chart ,I decided to search for some great sounding Pop vibes to add to my playlist.  I found some perfect Indiepop, K-Pop and and great new Synthpop from the one and only Carly Rae Jepsen. let's get started with Carly's new single - "Now That I Found You" With catchy melodies and great vocals she will soon be Poptarting her way right into my top weekly songs. K -Pop vibe is brought to you courtesy of the label A100 Entertainment. "MoonLight" by NeonPunch is ultra catchy and melodic, has disco elements. As well as the soothing vocals of the girls of K-POp.  The last add is quite possibly my favorite song of The 1975's latest album. "TooTimeTooTimeTooTime" just missed my top 10 songs, so looks like "It's Not Living (If It's Not With You)" will be the big hit off the album.

Did you really think DIAMANTE would not be #1 again this week? That being said she does have some strong competition as Mötley Crüe takes another impressive jump into the top 3. Five stars and a sunglasses smiley guarantees the song a number one position in the next few weeks. Also moving into the top 10 is "Fresh Start". This is the first top 10 song for Joan Jett and The Blackhearts since 2013's "Any Weather" a song that feartured Dave Grohl on guitars. Moving on to debuts. We got 4 strong songs this week. Returning to my chart is Rob Thomas with his new single "One Less Day (Dying Young). Also returning to my chart is Hinder with "Halo". It's not as fierce as last year's "Making It Hard", but still catchy. Our third debut is Alternative rock's best kept secret. It's the L.A. based Glam Punk band Starcrawler with "Hollywood Ending". They describe their sound somewhere in between Black Sabbath and The Runaways. The last debut is a band I have only charted once before with the big hit "Mountain At My Gates". This week the highest debut goes to Foals for what will surely become my favorite song of theirs' "On The Luna". Elsewhere on the chart we have impressive moves from Janet Gardner, MGMT, Death Cab For Cutie, and my 2013 flashback track "Radio" from Le Cassette. HOT LIST: I could actually say the whole Blaqk Audio album takes the heat for this week's HOT LIST, but this was a great week for new music in general. However let's start off with that new Blaqk Audio album. Seems Davey Havok still has that DREAMCAR vibe in his veins. The album is spectacular. Don't know if there is an actual single, but I'm going with "Infinte Skin". catchy as sin with great lyrics and vocals, and after previewing a few of the songs this is no doubt my "Kill For Candy" of 2019. My other add comes The Black Keys. They have a hot new single racing up the charts titled "Lo/Hi". Good motorbike vibe. From "Devil" to "Monsters" comes Shinedown's newest single. It's currently in my top 3 New Metal songs. This is more hard Rock and less Hallmark card vibe. Good song.

At #1 for a third week is Diamante with "Haunted". Will she make to a month or will "The Dirt" swoop in for the kill? The excitement continues with my favorite Power ballad of the moment from the other self titles bad boys of sleaze Melal  Pretty Boy Floyd.  Jumping from #5 to #3 is "We Can't Bring back Yesterday", and we also have one new act in the top 10. A former smash hit on the AAA charts from St. Paul and The Broken Bones titled "Apollo". The chart is rather slow moving this week, but we do have three debuts. Two are from the Pop world and one from one of Alt's best decades. Fist coming in at #60 are The Killers with "Out Of My Mind". This brings us to my two favorite Pop songs of the moment. First returning to my chart is Carly Rae Jepsen with the killer catchy "Now That I Have Found You", and coming in at #55 are K-pop new comers NeonPunch with the very disco flavoured "Moonlight". There is new music out there just nothing that excited me too much this week, so this week I went back to my 90's music vibe which was Italo Disco. Fabrizzo Rizzolo known to many as Collin Newman and Brian Ice has produced and done vocals for many Italo NRG labels. Including Memory, ABeatC, and Flea records. This is new Italo NRG released this month on Iventi D' Azzurro label. A beautiful Italo Disco track titled "Fly With Me". Soon to be expected: The extended version.

DIAMANTE makes it to a fourth week at #1 holding off the bad boys of Metal for one more week. Two new bands enter the top 10 for the first time. Indiepop band Wild Nothing comes in with "Letting Go" ,and jumping 5 spots to #8 is The Night Flight Orchaestra with what could have been perfect Rocky III soundtrack music back in the day  in the form of "Turn To Miami". This song gains itself a 4rth star, so look for it to go top 5. A lot of excitement in this week's chart. Big moves? Quite a few from the hard rock world. bands like Venom, Defiants, Crazy Lixx, and Stephen Pearcy all make impressive moves up the chart, but keep your eye on Pop songs as we got synthpop from Phases, K-Pop from Neon Punch and good old dancepop from Carly Rae Jepsen also making waves on the chart. Finally we got our 4 debuts. Two songs "Choke" and "Lo/Hi' are charting on the official Alt chart. My second highest debut is "Don't Bite The Dust" from J-Metal band LOVE BITES. Their band name is in reference to Def Leppard's top 80's powerballad, and this week's highest debut goes to The Struts with "In Love With A Camera". HOT LIST: My week's adds begin with an incredible powerballad I just discovered from the late great Jani Lane. As it goes this was written for Warrant's debut album, but wasn't included in the final compilation. Erik Turner Warrant's Rhythm guitarists included it in his 1998 solo effort Demos For Die Hards. The sound? 1989 Throwback with that bit of Southern vibe much like Poison's "Every Rose Has It's Thorn". I actually just discovered the whole album so this could be Jani Lane's comback year. For my second add I'm returning back to the currents chart and bringing on a nice shot of Modest Mouse adrenaline. "Poison The Well" is very short but extremely catchy , and I have been giving it a lot of spins this week. You never really know what to expect on my adds list. Like this new song from The band New Years Day. Only I'm not adding the song they are currently charting with. That one is pretty bad. No, I'm bringing on the fiercer Metal with their song "Skeletons". For my last add, I'm bringing back Confidence Man's "Don't You Know I'm In A Band'. I added it a few months back, it fell off, I viewed a nutty performance music video, and now it's back.
