Sorry for the late post. I've been really busy in the real world and its clashing with my preferred music world. To make up for that I have a boatload of Mv for you so sit back and click away on the thumbnails 

A rather slow music week as we draw closer to 2020, but Echosmith do have a strong hold at #1 for a second week with "Lonely Generation". The biggest move within the top 10 is "Under The Graveyard" from Ozzy Osbourne and we have two new songs breaking into the top 10. At #10 is Mexican Electropop band Belanova scoring their 9th top 10 on my chart with "Nada Es Igual" and in just two short years we have Pale Waves already scoring their 4rth top 10 hit with "Kiss". Our two debuts are songs I'm giving an early 2020 push. First is Blu DeTiger debuting for the first time with the very funky "Tangerine" and the highest debut goes to Ghost. I'm not even sure if this was sent to radio, but I'm not waiting any longer to debut "Kiss The Go-Goat". It already went to #1 on my Metal chart so now I'm setting it lose on my all genre top 60. The rest of the chart features impressive movement from both ItaLove, and Buckcherry who ride into the top 20, and a few other leaps of faith from Bad Wolves, Moenia, El Ultimo Vecino, and Goo Goo Dolls. Plus I have the premier new music video for Bleached "Somebody Dial 911". Red = Debut songs. Purple = Hot jumps and () is song's best chart showing.

HOT LIST: It's still a little slow as far as me searching for new music, but the new Daughtry just fell on my lap. The song is titled "Alive" and features a more rock oriented sound we have had from the band in a while. Also this comes out after realizing he was moonlighting as a singing dog. Man times are tuff. This better become the official MV cuz its epic.    My next song comes from a K-POp reality show titled UHSN meaning Girls Study Abroad. They are not a real group, but they do come from different parts of the world which makes it a unique song since they all sing in Korean. Most K-pop is getting too serious for me, but this song aptly titled "POPSICLE" brings that peppy bubbly kinda nonsensical lyrics but ultra catchy vibe I like. My last add makes a swift jump from Metal Chart to top 60. It's from the just signed on to Frontiers Records label Symphonic Metal band Edge of Paradise. I like it's poppy elements. Sorta like a Symphonic Metal meets Disco. This is what I imagine Demmi Lovato would sound like if she was bit by the Symphonic Metal bug, and I love it.

New Metal Music Chart:

Getting right into the new music. We have Swedish Power Metal from METALITE. Off their just released AFM "Biomechanicals" we have the first single "Far From The Sanctuary" . Great song featuring the ever present invisible keyboard player. LOL! Sounds a bit like Edge Of Paradise's "Universe" who cruised into the HOT LIST this week to give room for the new blood. My second debut comes from Frontiers Records label. It's the new single from the supergroup Revolution Saints. The band is made up of Jack Blades (Night Ranger), Doug Aldrich (Whitesnake) and Deen Castronovo of Journey fame. The song is basically a Journey song on Steroids. Very powerful and melodic.

My pick hit extra is also Symphonic Power Metal. believe it or not this song was a YOUTUBE add before the METALITE song, and I think they are an indie Metal band under the name Mezmerized & LoudSound MGMT. With a future shot at my charts I welcome Mezmerized - "Desire"

Another slow week mainly because I've been posting my top songs of 2019, and not really listening to the new stuff. The top three hold there positions with "Lonely Generation" looking to score a month at #1 by next week. The only entry into the top 10 is a song I have been listening to. After falling out "All Animal" returns with a new peak of #9. We only have two debuts this week. First we say welcome to Edge Of Paradise. This Indie Symphonic Metal band just got signed to Frontiers Records , and the first single "Universe" is their debut on my chart. My highest debut goes to the masked singer himself Daughtry. His new single "Alive" is a return to form to his older music and the song's chorus really showcases his powerful vocals. The rest of the chart moves at a slow pace with the most exciting crawls going to Ghost, Dirty Honey and the Moth and The Flame who this week get a new peak of #29. The biggest excitement will be in the HOT LIST where I welcome 5 new songs for 2020. Red = debuts. Purple =Big Moves(not much color this week) and () is songs new peak.

HOT LIST: There have been five singles off "Young & Dangerous" and now two more videos so it's time for another Struts song to make its way into my weekly chart. This time to change the vibe a little I chose "Somebody New" A little more of a Piano ballad, but still with enough glitter and epic vibe for a cool Queen/Elton John feel. My next add is the next single from Angels & Airwaves titled "Kiss & Tell". More of that great 80's powerpop madness and with a brand new Music video, and very attractive co star. this song will soon start soaring up my charts as well. "My Cheating Heart" from Love Fame Tragedy is a song that's been on my radar for a little over a month. It  has a great Alternative Rock vibe. The magic here lies in the vocals. He has unique tones and sound even better at high tones and she just sounds great. Especially in the chorus. The next add is a brand new song of New RetroWave music label. This label excels on everything 80's and have gotten quite a big fanbase on Youtube from listeners who hunger for some 80's magic. This is a brand new song from Betamaxx titled "Never Sleep Again (feat. Vandal Moon),so for once I'm on time with synthpop. The style is very 80's Poppy gothic Cure meets 80's synthpop . Even the MV has vampires in it. My last add is a welcome return for the Jonas Brothers to my chart. I loved their poprock style of the early 2000's because of the upbeat music. They are back with a new song currently burning up the pop charts. A little Reggae vibe over an infectious little synth hook and "Only Human" sounds like perfect pop music to me. "Drunk to an 80s groove" sounds just about right. Also I couldn't proclaim myself a melody freak and not chart this.

New Metal Music Chart: The New York Sleaze Rockers WILDSTREET rides to the top of the chart this week with "Three Way Ride". This week's new debut comes from Metal icons Five Finger Death Punch . "Inside Out" crashes into my top 10 just about the same time as it does on the Active chart.. This week's New Metal spotlight goes to a great Glam Metal cover of Roxett's "Dangerous". There are quite a few out there, but I like the one from LIPZ, because they are a band I chart and the production sounds and looks really good.

[Doc Indie Party Rock]

The big news this week is big for Echosmith. First. They score a whole month at #1. Second. They drop their new album "Lonely Generation", and after a slight first preview I can already say I love more than half the songs. They are also back on the Indie scene which means doing music how they want instead of label influence and it shows in the songs. Ozzy is also on the rise. Up to #2 this week. This week LODVG grab their third top 10 hit off "El Planeta Imaginario". getting to the debuts. We got two bops. One is a K-pop bop from the ladies of UHSN. Again one of the interesting things about these vocals are the different countries each girl represents while still keeping true to the K-pop uptempo vibes. My highest debut is a late entry so I'm jumping on it right away. It's from Jonas Brothers and their 80's Groove "Only Human" . Elsewhere on the chart and taking off like a bullet is the Moth and The Flame moving into #20. Saint Motel also crack the top 20, and Weezer is right outside the top 10 with "The End Of The Game". Red = debut. Purple =big move, and () is song's highest peak to date.

HOT LIST: Starting this week's Adds is a small dose of Garage Rock from Green Day. "Fire, Ready ,Aim". It's short, direct and burns in all the right places. Plus I love that I can repeat it at least 3x every time I play it. My next add is from the Goth Metal band Black Veil Brides. They have a new E.P. on Sumerian records titled "The Night". They released two music videos for the songs "Saints Of The Blood" and "The Vengeance". I'm not sure which one I like better. They both great so I'll add them both for now. Now off that new Echosmith album I bring on the second single "Shut Up and Kiss Me". My last goes to the band that scored my #1 song of 2019. DIAMANTE is back with "When I'm Not Around". The song has a power ballad feel with lyrics that have a similar vibe to "Haunted".

Echosmith continue their unstoppable reign at #1. Both Whiter Reaper and Through Fire are scoring their first top 5 songs with their first ever top 10 entries and my oldest songs on the chart as well. Four songs leave the chart leaving vacant slots for new music from MisterWives, Through Fire. The Struts, and a quick Top 50 Entry for Green Day "Fire ,Ready ,Aim. This is also due to the fact that they just released a brand new spanking single titled "Oh Yeah". The highest jump again goes to "Only Just Begun" quickly going from #20 to #14. That one should be in my top 10 by next week. Also Active chart's new #1 song by the Bad Wolves makes its way into my Top 20. There is also a great new Live extended version MV of Dua Lipa's "Don't Start Now" that should push the song upward in the weeks to come. Red =debuts. This song is also one of the top 20 songs of Active Rock chart.  Pale Waves perfect Aesthetic Driving music is my second add of the week.  There is no official MV for it yet, but I did do a homemade sleeve cover for the song using Elvira's hearse. My last add is a song I just discovered from Animotion. It's from their 2017 album 'Raise Your Expectations' and it reforms the original band members including Astrid Plane
, and Bill Wadhams. The song is a straight out time machine ride back to 1986 so I'm excited to get to finally get to chart new Animotion.

Allstar Weekend - James (Never Change)

What ever happened to the corporate Disney pop band Allstar Weekend? I charted a few of their songs when I was still big time into pop, but I never heard this bass dropping ultra bop until this week. Youtube actually threw it at me while previewing the new Jonas Brothers song. The song has Cameron Quiseng in mind. He is the fictional James in the song and the band's bass player which explains the idea of the song. Still not sure If I'm gonna chart this nine year old song, but I'm really tempted to. I'll give it a retro pick hit of the week mention for now.

His latest single "Pretenders" is an 80's style pop song with all the right ingredients to go top 10 in the weeks to come. Finally we have two debuts. Echosmith is back with single number two titled "Shut Up and Kiss Me", and our first top 40 debut of the new year from DIAMANTE titled "When I'm Not Around". The song is lyrically part two of "Haunted" and has a great Powerballad style to go along. Also DIAMANTE is Indie again which means we will be getting a lot of new material from her this year. Her single new "Obvious" is already getting some underground buzz in the Indie Metal scene, and even airplay on some radio stations. This week we also have big Music video action, so strap in and get ready for the ride. Red =debuts. Purple = significant chart moves, and this () means songs highest peak to date.

HOT LIST: The hint for my favorite add of the week was Macho Man Randy Savage and his famous "oh Yeah". Did you get it right?  It's Green Day - "Oh Yeah". I wasn't expecting this new single to arrive right when I started charting "Fire,Ready,Aim", so I might have to gel them into one double A side single. This song is great tho. it even samples a bit of Joan Jett's "Do Ya Wanna Touch Me" which in fact was originally sung by Gary Glitter, so the song carries a nice trashy, glammy vibe which is fine by me. My next two adds are from the indie label Elefant records. The same label Cristina Quesada is on. Both songs are female sung pop rock. The first one Cariño - "Bisexual" is very 80's poppy and ultra catchy, and the second one is from Papa Topo. They have a indie Spanish rock sound but I don't like the vocalist too much. "La Llamada" the single that caught me ear features vocals by Zaida Carmona and is the reason I like the song. My last add is one I rediscovered on the AAA top 100 of 2019 from the band Seratones. "Gotta Get To Know Ya" is like Lenny Kravitz with Female vocals and pretty much the reason it found itself on my HOT LIST this week.

New MEtal Music Chart:

Sitting Pretty at #1 for second week is the 5th track I'm charting off Pretty Boy Floyd's 2017 release "Public Enemies" titled "High School Queen" . A great Metal song reminding of early Poison like "Talk Dirty To Me" or Fasterpussycat "You're So Vain".  Also debuting this week is Slipknot with their free pass onto my metal songs of the week. I find this one extremely useful for cable pulls. I especially like the band's performance in the video. One member holds the drum while the other one bangs on them them. A perfect image of the power emulating from the song. My second debut comes from Avenged Sevenfold and their release of "Set Me Free". It was recorded for "Hail To The King” and is finally being unleashed for 2020. A great Metal ballad that I hope gets pushed into the Active chart.

What goes up must eventually go down ,and this week Echosmith slip from the top, but with a brand new album full of indiebops they will surely be in the top 10 soon enough. With that the Prince of Dark Metal takes the spotlight as "Under The Graveyard" becomes my new #1 song. No new songs enter the top 10, but we do have potential top 10 candidates. One of those being ItaLove's "Stockholm Is Calling which has been see-sawing its way in and out of the top 20. This week it gets a new peak of #17 ,and with a bullet. Bad Wolves, Steel Panther and Cristina Quesada could also go top 10 in the weeks to come? We have three debuts this week. The biggest push going to Ozzy Osbourne's "Straight To Hell". Hunny make their chart debut with the very Cure inspired "Saturday Night" featuring a cameo from Bleached, and the band who has been consistently on my charts for the last few years Pale Waves returns to the chart with "Drive". HOT LIST: Following the success of 'Sometimes The World Ain't Enough' The Swedish Hard rock band The Night Flight Orchestra release the new single off their upcoming“Aeromantic” Lp. It's titled "Divinyls" and it captures that same 80's melodic driving sound of "Turn To Miami'.  . Poppunk is sorta making a come back on my weekly chart so it's no surprise I'm catching on the great sound of Simple Plan and State Champs - Where I Belong (feat. We The Kings). I haven't charted State Champs and I heard of We The Kings, but Simple Plan had many top 10 's on my charts back in the day and this song captures that same powerpop sound of the early 2000's.  Next up we have a new song from  Pearl Jam titled "Dance of the Clairvoyants" .Truthfully I was never really into Pearl Jam until" Jeremy" came out but everyone I know loves that one. The next time I charted Pearl Jam was with "The Fixer". I also charted a few songs of "Lightning Bolt". This new single is really breaking out of the Pearl Jam box and I would say I'm that group of people who have found their new Pearl Jam favorite with this song. Finally we have my big add surprise. It's a new single from Poppy. Who is Poppy? Youtube has many interpretations of who Poppy is and whet she stands for. Robot. Illuminati queen. Alien? Blah blah blah. To me she is a pretty version of that Billie Eilish  chick, but still a bit creepy. She has great pop vocal tones, and sings songs that have early 80's synthpop vibe. This week I add her latest single "Fill The Crown". This song is eerily melodic, but also adds some Goth Metal parts that take it to another level. The guy in the cameo part even sounds like Marilyn Manson. This is my favorite song of the week because it's so different yet still sounds like something I would instantly get into.

Do I have a chart for you this week. First we got Ozzy Osbourne hanging to #1 for a second week with "Under The Graveyard", but your attention must go to all the color red on the chart. That means we have six big debuts. All from different sides of the music world. We have the Spanish record label Elefant representing The bands Papa Topo ,and Cariño At #60 and #58 with some catchy new Indiepop Rock. At #55 we have the Title Track and Former #1 song on my New Metal Music chart from L.A. Guns titled "The Devil You Know". This song features the band bringing on more of A darker Heavy Metal style than their usual Hair Metal. at #56 ,and skipping through the hot list right into the top 60 is the third single from The Black Moods "Whatcha Got". I might even like this one more than "Bella Donna". The debuts continue with the Seratones bringing on some Rock N' Soul with "Gotta Get To Know Ya" ,and the highest debut which should come as no surprise goes to Green Day for the chart slaying "Oh Yeah". I'll cap off this week's chart excitement with three songs crashing the top 10. Bad Wolves score their second top 10 with "Killing Me Slowly". Cristina Quesada bringing back some 80's style SAW NRG with "Think I Heard A Rumor" and Steel Panther cashing in at #8 with their lyrically sleazy , but very Glammy Powerballad "Always Gonna Be A Ho" Red =debuts. Purple = significant chart moves, and this () means songs highest peak to date.

HOT LIST:  My three new adds for the week all come from the Alternative chart. First up is The British Indiepop band The 1975. They make sure to keep charting music in the 2020 with the ultra catchy new single "Me & You Together Song". The next band is lovelytheband. This band is notorious for pissing off half the old school Alt fans by dethroning Rise Against "Savior" for the most popular Alternative Rock song of out time. They must have really put some thought on how they were going to make amends with those pissed off Alt fans, because their new single "Loneliness For Love" is really good, and I mean 80's really good. The next  song comes from indeirock duo Best Coast. Looks like they might finally have their breakout chart hit with "Everything Has Changed". If you dug your "EverWeezer Teenage Dirtbag" guitar crunches of the 90's then this one is right up your alley.

Back this week is the New Metal Music Chart. This week we have a new #1 from DIAMANTE. It's her new self released single "Obvious". This is yet another live performance where she looks and sounds great. I love the way the fan blows her hair just like in those 80's Glam Metal music videos.On to the debuts. We got two. The latest single from Crobot  "Low Life" has got enough spins on my player to make the top 10. . The Blue Stones are also making their way onto my MEtal chart with their current top 20 hit on Active chart titled "Shakin' Off The Rust". The sound reminds me a bit of Royal Blood, so I'm rooting for this one to go top 10 on Active as well.

This week The powerpop band White Reaper score their very first #1 song on my chart with "Might Be Right". It's also the #1 song on the official Alternative charts, so I guess I 'm right on track with the most popular rock song of the week. More movement in the top 10 as Steel Panther's "Always Gonna Be A Ho" cracks the top 5 ,and some Italo Disco makes an impressive jump to #8 with "Stockholm Is Calling". Next week we could also see the return of Neon Trees and Saint Motel into the top 10. On with this week's debuts. We start off with a new act at #60 called Love Fame Tragedy. The song I'm charting is titled "My Cheating Heart". An uptempo Indierock song that really clicked with me for the male female duo vocals. The second debut is a band that is constantly on my weekly charts. The 1975 drop their latest single "Me & You Together Song", and it quickly grabs a position at #56. Finally we have Pearl Jam returning to my charts with "Dance of the Clairvoyants". This band has really matured from the grunge days and it's no wonder that ever other single they release becomes my new favorite song from them, so this should easily go top 10 on my chart in the weeks to come. HOT LIST: Green Day just dropped this latest album this week, and I'm giving it big replay action. Plenty of great songs to chart including "Meet Me On The Roof" which already has a music video to go along. The style is a lot like Foxboro Hot Tubs and very catchy. New Dark Wave from 80's Blancmange gets my second add of the week with the "I Smashed Your Phone". A late entry from last year comes in from Catfish and the Bottlemen. After repeat airplay I decided to give "Longshot" some chart action. last but not least is 80's Glam Metal band Vixen and their latest single "You Oughtta Know By Now". This song brings back the original members into the studio one last time.

Great to see "Might Be Right" top the chart, it just made the top 20 on my chart too, I like it a lot.

Also nice to see "Me & You Together Song" debut and "Longshot" see some chart action.

[Doc Indie Party Rock]

The top 2 songs hold their crowns for a second week, Belanova inches up a spot to #3 ,and Italove who feature brand new music in my HOT list as well crack the top 5 with "Stockholm Is Calling". This week also features a chart full of upward movements giving songs their highest peak yet including Armored Dawn who get a new peak for "Ragnarok", Finally let's on with the three new debuts. At #60 is the new single from lovelytheband titled "loneliness for love" (doesn't this band believe in caps)? This new song has a really cool uptempo vibe, and is easily my favorite song from them. My second debut is a Poppunk dream team consisting of icons of the genre Simple Plan, new kids to the genre State Champs and even a little help from WE THE KINGS. These three talents come together for the song "Where I Belong". The highest debut on this week's chart belongs to a latecomer from Catfish and The Bottlemen. "Longshot" originally peaked at #72 on my chart, but has since returned with a bullet, and this week it makes a impressive return from recurrent heaven to #54. Red =debuts. HOT LIST: .The Swedish Italo Disco band Italove have a brand new double side single out. "Hold The Line/Burn This City". Side A contains the stronger song. The extended version even borrows the melody of Mike Mareen's "Love Spy".  I swear I didn't plan to chart a three year old song of theirs' hoping they would release a new song it just happened that way. [img src="http://yoursmiles.org/ssmile/fun/s0244.gif" alt="" src="http://images.proboards.com/tongue.gif" class="smile"]  Next is the new single from Whitesnake. They decided to release "Always & Forever" as a gift for the fans this Valentine's Day. The song is a bit of a Powerballad with a fast catchy hook. This wouldn't be a certified Doc Indie Party Rock   chart without me including some new Swedish Glam Metal , so Midnight City are cruising over to my top 60 with "Give Me Love". I charted them in 2017 with "Summer Of Our Lives". This new single isn't as strong as that one , but still posseses that 1989 flawless Glam Metal vibe of bands like Danger Danger. My last add comes the Spanish Rock band Grises and their single "Comida Para Insectos". They are Spanish like La Oreja De van Gogh ,and have that similar catchy poprock style I cannot resist charting.

DIAMANTE hangs on to #1 with "Obvious" for another week while both Five Finger Death Punch ,and Slipknot grab some new peaks in the top 5. Swedish Rawkers  Grand Design are back with the first single off their upcoming album 'V'. Like always they bring on the old school Def Leppard sound with the fast melodic bass lines and killer choruses. Also debuting this week is the new single from Symphonic Rockers Nightwish. Not only is their new single "Noises" an epic masterpiece, but it also comes with a strong message that could be interpreted in many different forms. One of them is definitely a shot at the social media madness, and I guess in pop culture in general.

This week's chart begins with a brand new #1 song from Spanish Synthpop sensations Belanova. The Mexican Trio first hit the airwaves in 2003, but it wasn't until 2005's 'Dulce Beat' that they became instant hitmakers. "Rosa Pastel" was their first big chart breaker, and first #1 on my chart. Fifteen years later they return to my #1 position with "Nada Es Igual". Also this week in the top 10 we have Saint Motel returning with "Van Horn" ,and Green Day make the biggest jump within the chart moving up eight notches to #10 with "Oh Yeah". Our three new debuts all come from 80's icons. One song is from the original Animotion returning with their 2017 release "Last Time". AT #59 he have the reunited all female glam metal group Vixen with the only new single from their live album "Live Fire" titled "You Ought To Know By Now", and last but not least is Glam Metal icons Whitesnake back on the charts with "Always & Forever". The single was released this past Valentines Day and its picture perfect Powerballad vibe should propel it up my chart in no time. HOT LIST: This week we have a Pop take over on the new music adds. Paulina Rubio is back with "Ya No Me Engañas". It's the last single off  "Deseo", and it takes me back to early 2000's poprock style of Kelly Clarkson.  Also back with another single is Debbie Gibson  with "Your Forever Girl". This song is off Hallmark Channel's new, original movie "Wedding of Dreams" which I do not plan to see, but the jam sounds like perfect 1986-87 pop so I will chart it.  The Strokes are back this week with a brand new single "Bad Decisions". This is perfect Indierock with enough poppy vibe to make it their big 2020 comeback song. Finally comes the return of Eurobeat to my personal music chart. This is the dance genre that dominated most of my 1990's- 2000's music charts.  Nine new songs have been released from Eurobeat producer Roberto Gabrielli. The first one is from new comer Andrea Delfino titled "Doctor I'm Crazy for Love" . If you like Italo Disco with a bit of Hi- NRG bpms and gorgeous female vocals than Eurobeat could be your Dance music drug.

* This week's Metal chart is full of new music. "Obvious" hangs on to #1, but this week I'm showcasing the acoustic version of the song which sounds very 1989. NIGHTWISH jumps to the #2 position in it's second week on the chart, and we have three new songs entering the chart. #10 has Stitched Up Heart delivering their new song in the way Demi Lovato would if Demi Lovato went Metal. Not bad at all ,and that catchy pop vibe could push it into my top 60. Buckcherry has released the fourth single off "War Paint". This time it's the Powerballad "Radio Song". I love this one and it could be the one that finally cracks my top 10 once it cruises over to my all my genre chart. The big new is that Metal Church is back. They are on Ratpak records. Same label as Vixen. The new song "Dead On A Vine" is superfierce, and the first single off "From The Vault" which I guess is a compilation of never released material? Not sure but the song does have their old skool Metal sound.

This week the Italian Disco Swedes finally get their turn at the top with their instant dance hit "Stockholm Is Calling". Two more song enter the top 10. First comes DIAMANTE with her new Rock Ballad. "When I'm Not Around", and making a nice jump to #8 is the 2019 comeback single for Rick Astley. This song has all the ingredients for a new Rick classic just without the SAW music vibes. By strategically sending four older songs off the chart I can easily tally up another chart with exiting movement and four new debuts. This week we have new music from Best Coast, Midnight City, The Strokes ,and the first of six new Eurobeat productions for 2020. The first comes from Andrea Delfino. She is new to the genre but already showing promise with her first hit "Doctor I'm Crazy For Love". There is even more excitement on the Metal Chart and HOT LIST. Red =debuts. HOT LIST: We have some really cool music adds this week. Question? Do you miss Bloc Party?  New comer KennyHoopla does his best impression with this new banger titled  "how will i rest in peace if I'm buried by a highway". Pretty dark lyrics but damn good music. Next up Ozzy Osbourne teams up with fellow British legend Elton John on the Rock ballad "Ordinary Man"  The big surprise for 2020 is Bon Jovi getting ready to release his next album Bon Jovi 2020. The first single "unbroken" came and went without any impact ,but the latest single "Limitless" is already top 20 on AC chart. It's not as strong as his 80's classics, but it does have the classic Bon Jovi Anthem vibe. My last add is my favorite song of the week. It's the return of one of my favorite Powerpop bands of the early 2000's Bowling For Soup. Their new single is an homage to the girl all the bad guys want. They already dedicated one to Megan Fox
. So this time they take it up a notch by singing about Wrestling queen Alexa Bliss. and the MV features Alexa Bliss. I love this song!

*NEW MUSIC METAL CHART:
DIAMANTE holds down the #1 position for a straight month and could soon cruise on over to the official chart. Which brings us to three new songs crashing my personal Metal music chart. At #10 is the return of my favorite Brazilian Metal band Armored Dawn. This week they unleash the third single off Viking Zombie titled "Zombie Viking". With this new single, and "Ragnarok" closing in on my official Top 10 it seems like 2020 will be year of the Zombie Viking. Swedish Psychedelic Metal makes a stand at #9 from the band LUCIFER and their new single "Midnight Phantom". The highest entry goes to the title track for the new album from BURNING WITCHES ,and no that is not Margot Robbie on lead vocals ,but it is the band's new singer Laura Guldemond and she brings on the Powerful vocals on this new Heavy Metal monster track that is sure to be a future #1 song on my chart.

Green Day with "Oh Yeah!", and getting a boost with their brand new video and song are Neon Trees - "Used To Like". Which brings us to out three new debuts. at #60 is The Spanish Poprock band Grises with "Comida Para Insectos". The second debut brings the return of Kitten to my weekly charts and their new single "Me!" This is an irresistible Indiepop jam with a super catchy chorus..and speaking of catchy comes my guilty pleasure of the week. Bowling For Soup is back and with a major bullet at #43 for their new single about, and dedicated to "Alexa Bliss". Elsewhere on the chart we have interesting moves from Kim Wilde, Blaqk Audio, and Bleached who could go top 10 as early as next week with their single "Somebody Dial 911" which just happens to be my favorite song from the band so far. HOT LIST:  We got five new songs this week ,and we start off with Bad Wolves who are back with "Sober". I really love this one , cause it quickly reminded me of Nickelback, Daughtry, Hinder and Saving Abel power ballads. This one jumps over the Metal Chart and lands right on my HOT LIST.  That key change in the last chorus could easily skyrocket this one to the top of my chart.  Continuing the "Boost" Grunge are another band that has recently scored big on my chart. It's  Five Finger Death Punch with "Inside Out".  The next song changes up the music vibe a bit and it's the second song I'm charting from the British singer Dua Lipa. Her latest single "Physical" brings that New Retrowave fire. It's very 80's and let's hope more Pop acts decide to follow in her footsteps with songs like these.  The Swedish Rock band Eclipse bring the Hard rock vibe from Stockholm with the third single of "Paradigm" titled "Mary Leigh". DIAMANTE drops to #2 making way for Nightwish's new single "Noise" to take over this week's top spot. The song throws all kinds of dirt at social media, but it doesn't with one great big epic vibe. The only new entry is a 2 year old hard rock song from the band ROXANNE They have that perfect Hard rock vibe from 1989, and it's no wonder since the song features George Lynch from Dokken and Lynch Mob fame. "Super Bad" is one of those songs and music videos that is just begging for a spot on my music charts. The very first comment on youtube hits the nail on the head. Neon Trees are back, and they take the #1 slot away from Italove with one of the biggest hits of their career "Used To Like". Also in the top 5 this week are Green Day with "Oh Yeah!" and Rick Astley steps up to notched to #5 with "Every One Of Us". There is a lot more action this week as we welcome three new songs to the chart. First we have the return of Paulina Rubio with her very retro sounding Poprock song "No Me Enganaras". HOT LIST: . . Four new adds. Four different music genres. Two Rock oriented and two Dance oriented. The oldest would be the fifth track from Pretty Boy Floyd titled "High School Queen".  It's got the Poison-ous  Mötley Crüe vibe that sounds like it came from 1988. Could also turn out to be my favorite from the record.  The Killers are back with "Caution" a brand new song and video that is making big debuts all over the charts, so I got to get started on it as well. My third add comes from 80's Synthpop icons Pet Shop Boys. They finally set lose their own video version of their fierce disco jam "Monkey Business". We round out this week's adds with new K-Pop from the girl group Weki Meki . They have managed to dazzle me with their pop perfect "Dazzle Dazzle". All members get a turn at the mic? Check. Rock Flash back. This guy Hollywood Scream is making all these great music videos for classic Hard rock songs. He also made one for one of my favorite Journey songs ever. "Stone In Love" was the sixth single released off 1981's  "Escape", but in reality the track got big rock radio play a little after "Who's Crying Now" was released. It has one of my favorite Journey intros ever, and this music video goes perfect with the song.

Awesome to see the Neon Trees at No. 1 with "Used To Like", it peaked at No. 2 on my chart and Green Day Top 5! Really liking that one too. Great chart.

Up two spot to go top 5 is DIAMANTE's newest Powerballad "When I'm Not Around", and we have two new acts in the top. Passion jump to #9 with their first charting single ever "Trespass On Love" and Bleached make a nice 4 notch jump to #7 with their latest single "Somebody Dial 911" . With that we get into our three new debuts. At #60 is the second single I'm charting from The Night Flight Orchestra. They have some fierce AOR melodic rock with "Divinyls". Stitched Up Heart service their second single off "Darkness", Echosmith release another pop sensation off "Lonely Generation", and a most interesting add I just discovered titled  "Candy Coated Suicide" from a duo who goes by the name Night Club. They somehow fall in the Retro Wave Synthpop genre, but this also has some Goth and Dark Club waves as well. The video takes a Gothic approach at the Alice In Wonderland fable. It all kinda gives me Billie Eilish vibes, except way more acceptable ion the music so they more like Belanova on acid. Pretty cool actually.

I love this song with every fiber of my being. The entire "Straight Between The Eyes" album was solid, though I certainly prefer the era of Rainbow when Dio fronted the band. Got to see Joe Lynn Turner a few years later when he was fronting Yngwie J. Malmsteen (on a bill that included Lita Ford and Black n Blue). Good vocalist.

[Doc Indie Party Rock]

This week's chart sees the most action in the bottom half. We have four debut songs. Including the latest from Angels & Airwaves titled "Kiss & Tell", the new incredibly long titled,. but Bloc Party fierce sounding song from KennyHoopla, my Doc Indie Party Rock only charting song of the week from the band True Body. Their new song "Spirit City" has a great late 80's Modern Rock sound that wouldn't have sounded out of place in the next 1988 Alt Rank down we are doing next week either. Which brings us to the highest debut at #47. It's the 5th track I'm charting from Pretty Boy Floyd's 2018 album 'Public Enemies".The style of "High School Queen" is that raw garage Glam rock style of early Poison. Which basically means Top 10 free pass on my weekly chart. The action in the bottom half continues with exciting jumps from Bon Jovi, lovelytheband, Pale Waves and "Nickel" Wolves just to name a few. Our top half of the chart is also looking great with two top 10 entries. Bananarama score another one off "In Stereo" with "Looking For Someone" ,and Blaqk Audio make a surprising leap to #10 with "Dark Arcades". Last ,but not least we have a brand new #1 from Green Day. Everyone else is taking "Oh Yeah" to #1. Canada Rock, Active, and soon Alt, so it just feels right for my chart too. Music Videos, Sleeve art ,and a brand new surprise for 2020 will round out the chart's highlights.Red =debuts. Purple = significant chart moves, and this () means songs highest peak to date.

HOT LIST:  My first two adds are former songs from my weekly Metal Chart. The first one comes from Alter Bridge and its for their current Active charting single "Godspeed" For me their best single since "My Champion". My second add comes from DIAMANTE. She is currently in my top 5 with "When I'm Not Around". The new song I'm adding this week is a former #1 on my Metal chart titled "Obvious", and there is even more news as she is getting set to release a brand new single this month.   This last song is a last minute addition from  Anti-Flag. I first saw this song a few months ago on youtube on one of those adds, but failed to get the title, so I could never find it until it appeared last night on one of those new alternative rock compilations youtube adds at the end of music videos, so I D/L it ,got the art work ,and here it is. It's fierce , very melodic,and according to Wiki falls in the Anarcho Punk genre. Great song titled "The Disease"

*The second part of this week's chart is a brand new weekly addition I'm adding for 2020. It's my first ever posting of my weekly chart.  Obviously I compiled these in my later years, but after careful planning based on what songs are in my 45's collections, and my dad's huge inherited LP collection, what albums were popular at the time, mp3 archives, and just what sounds like Doc Indie Party Rock I came up with a year's worth of weekly top 30's. That's all I did until 1982 when the chart extended to top 40. I also used to use the format song-artist as opposed to what I use now which is artist-Song. First up 1980 for the week of January 5th.  Next week I'll post 1/12/1980 and so forth until I get tired or until the end of the world. Whichever comes first. .All you need to know is TH (this week's position) LW(last week's position) and () is still songs highest peak. 

Chart highlights:
"Babe" was my #1 song at the end of 1979 and continued into 1980
"Let's Go" is one of my longest running #1's and top 10 guests. I charted more singles off "Candy-O" throughout 1980.
Tom Petty & The Heartbreakers were scoring their first Top 10 on my chart with "Don't Do Me Like That"
Queen's first single off "The Game" "Crazy Little Thing Called Love" was making it's top 30 debut
Cheap Trick "Voices" was also making its Top 30 debut.

This week's chart highlights begin with "Oh Yeah!" spending a second week at #1. Ozzy Osbourne also cracks the top 10 for the (i'd have to check my archives, but it's more than 10 times) with "Straight To Hell". We also have a couple of nice moves in the top 10 from Bananarama and Blaqk Audio and making the top 5 with their first hit ever is the British Glam Metal band Passion with their hit "Trespass On Love". moving on to the debuts. We got now music from Stitched Up Heart at #60 with "Warrior". At #56 is the latest from Alter Bridge with "Godspeed" and it's no surprise that the Killers score the crown debut with their new single "Caution". HOT LIST: This week's theme could very well be Pre summer good feel vibe songs. Starting off this week's Hot music adds is Billie Joe Armstrong with his cover song from Tiffany's- "I Think We're Alone Now". Which is actually an original song from Tommy James and the Shondells. Billie Joe does extremely well in capturing the classic summer pop vibe of the song. Huey Lewis & The News are also back with a new album and a new single titled "While We're Young". It took me while to get into this one, but it's retro sound finally has finally settled nicely into my music brainwaves. It also kinda has some Hall & Oates vibes which isn't a bad thing at all. Speaking of retro my last add will be titled Retro hit of the week. It's a song I discovered among the extras for 1988 Modern Rock rank down we are about to venture into. The band is called Prefab Sprout. They are English and bring on some of that irresistible Sophisti-pop vibe best known from bands like ABC, Go West and Spandau Ballet. The song is titled "The King of Rock 'N' Roll" The lyrics are pretty nonsensical, but man is this song a bulls eye when it comes to an 80's lost wonder song. The vocals are melodic candy coupled with catchy bass lines ,synths and heavenly female back ups. It's from 1988 so it is easily the oldest song I am charting in 2020 so far.

New Metal music chart:
Quite a bit of changes since I last posted the Metal chart. "Dance With The Devil" a former #1 from Burning Witches drops to #3 giving way for Armored Dawn to take over the top spot with their single "Zombie Viking". New to the chart at #9 this week is the second track off Passion's self titled debut album. They take a heavier 80's Heavy Metal approach with "Intensity". The highest debut goes to "Survivor" the new single from ex Creed front man Scott Stapp. Else were in the top 5 Bush moves up another to slots with "Flowers From The Grave".

I see six singles off that album. i'll be sure to check that out. In the meantime I think I'm going to be busy with 'From Langley Park to Memphis". in 2020  So many good songs like "Enchanted", "Cars and Girls", Nightingales, and more. Maybe I'll chart tracks off "Steve McQueen when we do 1985 Modern Rock RD.

This week we have a brand new #1 song. It's DIAMANTE moving up two notches with "When I'm Not Around". This is also a big week for Diamante as she scores another song in the top 50 titled "Obvious", and she just dropped her new single today titled "Serves You Right". You can scroll down to My Metal chart to preview that one. Two songs crack the top 10 this week. First is "Always and Forever" from Whitesnake and at #9 slowly , but surely is the latest song from Ghost titled "Kiss The Go-Goat". I'm not sure if this one was ever released as a single for mainstream rock, but it's here and it's gonna keep climbing. Finally let's check out this week's debuts. I already mentioned "Obvious", but we also have a brand new Retrowave song from Betamaxx feat Vandal Moon titled "Never Sleep Again" If you like your 80's synthpop then this is your jam. With that we reach our highest debut from the sophisti-pop band Prefab Sprout. I've charted some older songs in the past, but this week we go all the way to 1988 for the much underrated "The King of Rock 'N" Roll". I think it will finally get the chart action it deserves on my top 50. The rest of the chart brings on the fierce moves from The Strokes, Edge Of Paradise ,and The Killers who leap up 11 slots on my chart with their new #1 song on Alternative music airwaves "Caution".  More vids and sleeve art including new stuff I worked on this week will round out this week's chart highlights. HOT LIST: My first add comes from 80's icons Pet Shop Boys. Last year I charted "What Are We Going To Do About The Rich" . That one had a sorta Beatles-esque vibe except with dance music elements, but their latest single "Monkey Business" goes straight out 70's meets 90's Disco. Even the song's music video screams of Studio 54 memories. I'm figuring this one will take off nicely once it debuts on my chart. My second add is from a band that's been absent from my charts since way back when they released "Always Love". That was a #1 hit on my chart. This latest single has that melody in mind , and it's that melody that gives it a quick push into my add list. Say hello to "So Much Love" from Nada Surf. Spanish singer Cristina Quesada proved to have a winning sound for my chart with her ode to the SAW sound of the 80's, so I'm bringing her back with another SAW styled song "Love At Third Sight".  My last add is a song I'm bringing back for two reasons. One. I finally acquired a great sounding mp3 file ,but the main reason is this thrilling new music video they released for the song. It follows the same tongue n cheek horror spoof idea you see in a lot of Ghost videos except this time with werewolf women. I already took top 30 this year so let's see if "Loba" from Victimas Del Doctor Cerebro can outpeak it's own peak the second time around?

New Metal Music Chart: We have one debut this week, but it's a big one. First we say goodbye to "Obvious" who jumps into the week's top 50 most popular songs, but at the same time we say hello to DIAMANTE's brand new single titled "Serves You Right". It's another "you screwed up so it's your loss" type of lyrics song. I love those powerful angry type jams and DIAMANTE has the perfect vocals to deliver those lyrics with conviction. It isn't strong enough to knock "Zombie King" from #1, but it get a strong top 5 debut in its first week on the chart. Another big mover this week is "Flowers On A Grave" from Bush so keep your ear out for that one. It's also a strong enough song to cruise into the top 60 in the week's to come. Scott Stapp also goes top 5 with "Survivor" which means we are getting some strong competition for that #1 position on my Metal chart.
