They are not going to send this to radio here or they already would have. It's weird Getaway Car was shipped internationally and not in the US but they obviously wanted to send this era on a high note with Delicate going to the top. I would have released DBM or GC but alas I don't make the decisions. I was wrong. Not sure a month break and then THIS song was the right move but I will enjoy making gun shot hand motions as I drive with this on the radio this winter. |

I'm still surprised that there are some that think there will be another single after "Delicate." Taylor said that her next album will be out before she's 30, and that would be December 13, 2019.
Therefore, I think they are ending the era to give her some time away and coming back with a new album next year. Another single would not give radio a break to crave new music.

If we go by her usual pattern, and assuming IDSB gets a proper video, we still need the Tour Video Single to close the era (Getaway Car? Don't Blame Me?).
Assuming normal-ish runs for both (let's say both go top 20 on Pop radio), that still leaves a nice amount of months of no singles before her usual Q4 release pattern for 2019. Bring on TS7!

She should just skip the tour video single entirely. Release the video for IDSB and end the era, it's a perfect way to end it and bring TS7 ASAP!
She seems very excited to release her next album and enter into a new era.

She is going to release TS7 fourth quarter of 2019 for sure. She likes rolling in her strong first week into the holiday sales run.
I would guess this is the final single, then there will still be a tour video for GC, and then a break.

Looks like her discography has gotten a boost in streams in the last week, especially reputation and most especially I Did Something Bad which is up about 60% so far.

Would love to be wrong though! reputation was alright and it gave me a handful of songs that I really, really enjoy, but I kinda wanna see if 1989 and Red were her creative peak and it's all downhill from here or she has another great album in her.
