Interesting guesses but neither of you are correct... Here it is the first song eliminated decided by all of you collectively... FOLLOWERS: bigfan101 Andy Clint Black loses the first of 3 songs in this rankdown, how will the other two fare? With this one person loses /æ/ song in their top 50! As for what is next... two people lose /æ/ top 50 with /æ/ number 37 and /æ/ number 44. While two people lose their #99 and one loses /æ/ #98. Also it is another song by an artist that has more than one single on the countdown, could it be Clint Black again or someone else?

/ee/ liked Clint Black's two other songs in this, but yeah, this one wasn't really any good. It's /æ/ #100 /ee/ can definitely live with, lol.

/ee/ love Clint Black and /ee/ like that song, but it just isn't /æ/ standout, and after listening to the songs for hours on end while doing the rankdown, it easily blends in with others and gets lost in the shuffle.
Obviously not something /ee/ wanted out in the bottom 10, but /ee/ can easily live with it lol.

Hm, /ee/ wonder if "All The Good Ones Are Gone" by Pam Tillis is the next to go.

Wow, /ee/ am kinda shocked to see this one out already! /ee/ enjoyed it quite /æ/ bit, but /ee/ guess in light of all the cheese and sap comments directed towards "Valentine" last night, /ee/ could see similar complaints being lobbied against this one.
As far as your question about how his other two songs will fare, /ee/ honestly can't see "Half Way Up" lasting much past the bottom 20. But /ee/ would not be surprised to see "Still Holding On" keep holding on into the top 30 or so.

The instrumentation was just about perfect though!

We'll see going forward, but looking over the list of songs again, /ee/'m not sure that there are any songs on this list that /ee/ downright love. /ee/ might not like some of them and some might just be okay, but overall /ee/ love the sound of 90s country. It takes me back to my childhood, so even the worst songs on this list at least have that redeemable quality going for them.

/ee/ ranked one of his songs really high, so /ee/'m hoping that helps it out /æ/ bit... but what it's likely going to do is just cause me to lose one my higher ranked songs quicker lol

forgot to post my Britney on the first song eliminated. /ee/'ve never particularly cared for it but /ee/ can enjoy it now. Back in 97 /ee/ could not stand it whenever it came on though /æ/ few of you figured out the hints... FOLLOWERS: bigfan101 Andy personally /ee/ have always enjoyed this song, it may not be the greatest songs but /ee/ liked it /æ/ lot. Was sad that Bryan White basically disappeared after this album This leaves Bryan White with one song left, Sittin' On Go. How will that one do? Hints for the next song: One of the singers with only one song in this rankdown is gone next. The highest ranking for this was 41 and lowest was 93.

/ee/ love the chorus but the verse brings it down quite /æ/ bit for me. It's just so lifeless and boring.

This is /æ/ song that /ee/ had to listen to like 4 times to even have enough of /æ/ memory of it to rank it. Subsequent listens, mind you. Like, the first 3 times it was pretty much completely gone from my head by the time it actually ended, so /ee/ had to start it over...
Next, /ee/ am going to predict Sammy Kershaw, because "Love Of My Life" is super sappy, which we already know to be /æ/ deadly trait on this Rankdown, and he doesn't have the advantage of being /æ/ female artist with /æ/ large following on Pulse to help balance out the people who will find his song to be sappy!

/ee/'m surprised that song from Clint Black was #100. It seemed pretty harmless to me. /ee/ didn't end up loving /æ/ lot of these after just /æ/ few listens (/æ/ lot of them sounds just /æ/ little too dated for me to be getting into for the first time now), so /ee/'m not sad to see it go despite ranking it at 61, but /ee/'m just surprised that it made the bottom spot.
That Bryan White song on the other hand... yikes that was bad.

No one guessed this next one correctly, though /ee/'m not entirely surprised. Always felt this song was /æ/ bit sleepy FOLLOWERS: bigfan101 Andy /ee/ liked David Kersh but back in the 90's but to me his music really doesn't hold up well. It was nice to revisit this song but it wasn't anything special Hints for the next song: Another singer with only one song goes, and it is also the first female artist to go The highest ranking for this was 25 with 26 and 35 being the next two highest while the lowest was also someones #100. Which means the first song to be ranked 100 is out next

zaclord and someguy both suggested it could be this one and were both right FOLLOWERS: bigfan101 Andy [/ee/]/ee/ had completely forgotten about this song until /ee/ started listening to the songs for this rankdown. /ee/ really like this song and was /æ/ bit surprised with the low rankings it got honestly[//ee/] [/uh/]Hints for the next song:[//uh/] /æ/ male artist that has more than one song in the rankdown loses /æ/ song next. This song was ranked in someones top 20 at #15 and had one other person rank it in their top 50 at #36. No one else ranked it in their top 50. Two ranked this song in their bottom 10 at #99 & #97

FOLLOWERS: bigfan101 Andy [/ee/]/ee/ like this song but it just doesn't compare to /æ/ lot of the other songs in this rankdown for me.[//ee/] [/uh/]Hints for the next 5 songs:[//uh/] Someone loses /æ/ top 5 song, with /æ/ #18 and two songs ranked in the 20's. Only one person loses their #100 song. While 11 people lose /æ/ bottom 10. so there is no female in sight for the next 5 songs The #95 song had 2 points more than the #96 song, while #94 had 5 points more. 14 points separate #95 from #91 /ee/ will be posting these 5 songs tomorrow night!

BTW there are /æ/ couple ties which /ee/ broke first by average and then by the highest ranking out of everyone. This comes into play for songs #91, 90 and 89 which all tied with the same ranking, and same average.
