When You're Gone is a nice song but isn't Top 10 worthy imo. Surprised it placed this high. Great Top 5! Really happy that my #1 is still in. Remaining songs: #1, 6, 7, 8, 19. I'd be happy with any of these winning except my #19.

I have my 2, 3, 4, 7, 18 left. I'm sad that I lost my #1 (I'm not sure but I think that may actually be the earliest I've lost my #1 in the few rankdowns I've participated in so far, lol) but other than that I'm happy as long as my 18 doesn't win, although I have a feeling it might...

"Anything but ordinary" is an accurate description of Avril and of Let Go.

This almost made my Top 5 too so this is definitely a very deserving #1 album track.

Hmm, as somebody who does not know much about Avril, that chorus sounds vaguely familiar to me! I wonder if I have heard it somewhere in public before.

05. Keep Holding OnAVG: 9.485714286 MED: 7 STD: 7.101662724 FINAL SCORE: 5.940472526
Album: Eragon and The Best Damn Thing Songwriters: Avril Lavigne, Dr. Luke Producers: Dr. Luke"Keep Holding On" was a single released by Avril to promote the 2006 movie, Eragon. While the movie may have petered out and seen as a flop, the song certainly is not. It was a minor hit, peaking at number 17 on the Hot 100, and number 45 in Canada. It went platinum in both countries. Like "When You're Gone," the track has a full fledged string section, this time arranged and conducted by L. Leon Pendarvis. Unlike the film it comes from, the track has received positive reviews from critics. Billboard called it a gorgeous song. JAM! described the song as "a strummed guitar, lush strings and a soaring vocal about love and loyalty" and "a sweeping Alanis-like ballad." Due to the song being such a success and well received, it was tacked on to the end of The Best Damn Thing. Originally, due to the song being much slower than the rest of the album, there was going to be an alternate version for the album, but it was scrapped for the original instead. #01 †ealsünset#01 toomuchboy#01 @walker9 #02 CF15#02 nick64#02 Normi#03 Juan Carlos#03 zaclord 🌈#04 bat1990#04 bboat11#04 ry4n#04 Juanca#05 Sambalada#05 Libra#06 james518#06 Leaf#07 rgreen0625#07 YotamTS#08 Choco#08 Kanenrá:ke#09 born#11 castleoblivion26#12 alexcuse#13 Az Paynter#13 .indulgecountry#15 Au$tin#16 @mirza #16 @quirkyfarang #18 Doc Indie Party Rock#18 Who The Hell Is Leo?✔#18 Snowbeast#22 aerodynamite#22 ★Disco★#23 austin#23 Super Rose Bros.{Songs Remaining}Complicated I'm with You My Happy Ending Nobody's Home

"Keep holding on" is a great song. It is one of the early ones I ranked and it kept on getting pushed down, little surprised to see it make the Top 5, but still a great song.

04. Nobody's HomeAVG: 8.171428571 MED: 6 STD: 7.188576372 FINAL SCORE: 5.102717583
Album: Under My Skin Songwriters: Avril Lavigne, Ben Moody Producers: Don Gilmore"Nobody's Home" was the third single from Avril's second album, Under My Skin. It was co-written with the guitarist from Evanescence. The song reached the top 20 in Ireland and Austria. It peaked at number 41 on the Hot 100 and number 24 in both the UK and Australia. This song is about losing yourself, being lost, and longing to return to your previous state. It was inspired by a friend of Avril from high school, who was "on the wrong path." Avril tried to give her emotional support through hard times and wrote the song based on these experiences. The music video was directed by Diane Martel and has Avril playing a homeless teenager who appears to live street-to-street with a friend. It follows the homeless girl sharing her experiences, such as showering in a convenience store, trying to call her estranged mother, playing the guitar on the streets to earn money, and escaping into an unlocked car in heavy rain. Avril has stated it was one of her favorite videos to shoot. #01 castleoblivion26#01 Leaf#01 Au$tin#01 Super Rose Bros.#01 YotamTS#02 .indulgecountry#02 james518#02 @quirkyfarang #03 aerodynamite#03 Choco#03 ry4n#03 Libra#04 CF15#04 Juan Carlos#05 Az Paynter#05 toomuchboy#06 Doc Indie Party Rock#06 nick64#06 Kanenrá:ke#06 Snowbeast#07 Sambalada#07 Juanca#07 @walker9 #08 @mirza #11 alexcuse#11 born#12 Normi#14 bboat11#16 zaclord 🌈#19 austin#19 rgreen0625#20 bat1990#22 Who The Hell Is Leo?✔#22 †ealsünset#26 ★Disco★{Songs Remaining}Complicated I'm with You My Happy Ending

03. ComplicatedAVG: 6.514285714 MED: 5 STD: 5.505993678 FINAL SCORE: 4.232470658
Album: Let Go Songwriters: Avril Lavigne, Lauren Christy, Scott Spock, Graham Edwards Producers: The Matrix"Complicated" is, of course, Avril's debut single. It is easily Avril's biggest hit. It peaked at number one Australia, Austria, Brazil, Canada, France, Ireland, Mexico, New Zealand, Norway, and Venezuela. It also peaked at number two on the Hot 100 and number three in the UK. It ranked at number 11 on the 2002 year-end chart in the US and number 83 for the 2000s decade-end chart in the US. It won several awards, such as Best New Artist in a Video at the 2002 MTV Video Music Awards, Single of the Year at the 2003 Juno Awards, Best Pop Song at both the 2003 BMI Awards and 2003 ASCAP Awards, and Video of the Decade at the 2011 EVMA. It also received two Grammy nominations including Best Female Pop Vocal Performance and Song of the Year, but lost both to Norah Jones's "Don't Know Why." As I stated earlier, Avril was in a rough patch before this song came to fruition. L.A. Reid had Avril working on folk-style songs, but it just wasn't working out, so he sent to Clif Magness, where they created "Losing Grip" and "Unwanted," though the label saw these songs as too dark. Finally, after matching up with The Matrix as a last-ditch effort, "Complicated" was written, immediately approved by Reid and the label, and the album was finally on its way to creation. Lauren Christy of The Matrix heard some of Avril's original cuts and described them as "a Faith Hill kind of vibe." As soon as they saw Lavigne coming into their studio, The Matrix felt that her musical direction was incongruous to her image and attitude. After talking to Lavigne for an hour, the singer said she wanted songs with punk rock inclinations. They told her to come back the following day, and in the afternoon during that day, they wrote a song that evolved into "Complicated" and another song called "Falling Down". They played it to Lavigne when she came back the following day, inspiring her what path she should take. The song is a staple in Avril's career, and despite the fact that it came out in 2002, years before the age of streaming, it has racked up 170 million views on YouTube and 93 million streams on Spotify, her most streamed song on Spotify. #01 alexcuse#01 Choco#01 Sambalada#01 rgreen0625#02 ★Disco★#02 ry4n#02 Juanca#02 zaclord 🌈#02 †ealsünset#03 austin#03 bat1990#03 bboat11#03 born#03 @mirza #03 Au$tin#04 nick64#05 james518#05 Who The Hell Is Leo?✔#05 Leaf#05 Snowbeast#06 .indulgecountry#06 Libra#06 YotamTS#07 Juan Carlos#08 aerodynamite#08 castleoblivion26#08 @walker9 #10 toomuchboy#13 Doc Indie Party Rock#13 Normi#15 Az Paynter#16 Super Rose Bros.#17 Kanenrá:ke#18 CF15#21 @quirkyfarang {Songs Remaining}I'm with You My Happy Ending
