That's wonderful news for Kelsea. It's one of my favorite albums ever as well.

I just heard 'Miss Me More' for the first time, so I just dropped in to say that with 'This Feeling' blowing up for her on pop radio, they should try out MMM on pop radio early next year.

Can we expect a new album by the end of the year?

I think it will depend on the success of the follow up to Miss Me More. That song should have at least a top 5 finish, but it will take another couple of months to reach the top and then they will announce a follow up for the summer/autumn I think - if it looks like radio will pick that up then I wouldn't expect a new lead single before 2020. If it's not successful or they decide not to release anything else of Unapologetically then I would say new single in the autumn might be a reality. New album I think only in 2020 realistically.

I think there’s a chance they end this era after ‘Miss Me More’ since it’s been a successful bounce back and they can move into the next album riding the momentum. Plus the album will have been out long over a year by the time it peaks.

I'm so desperate for new music :( + I wish she would release the studio version of Graffiti like she did with We Were Like to the people who are signed up to the official web site.

Plus the album will have been out long over a year by the time it peaks. I honestly think that would be the best strategy, especially if "This Feeling" really takes off - it could be an opportunity to create buzz for a new single and some excitement across genres. I'm so desperate for new music + I wish she would release the studio version of Graffiti like she did with We Were Like to the people who are signed up to the official web site. I seriously think the chances of that happening are very low, I can see a studio version leaking at some point, but I doubt it will ever be through official channels...I loved that Kelsea previewed a couple of clips from old songs on instagram and I wonder if those will be out at some point..

Oh my god, After Party sounds incredible! I can see why it's one of her favorites I'm not giving up hope to listen to the studio version of Graffiti one day tho.

Caught most of her opening set for Kelly Clarkson’s show last night and she was awesome! Got to hear most of my favorites of hers plus her coming back out with Kelly and Brynn to sing Miss Independent was a nice touch! I’d definitely see a full show of hers at some point in the future.

Great interview clips. Kelsea Central does a great job. I saw some of their staff members at the Kelsea M&G at the Ryman a couple months back.
Regarding the two short song clips, I have both of those songs in full. "Suit Up" is from 2016 and "After Party" is from 2015.

Even the short snippet is full of emotions. I would rather have her posting snippets of songs that will make the final cut instead of giving us snippets of songs we probably never get to hear in full

The new demo that Kelsea posted a clip of is called "Homecoming Queen". A really beautiful song that she recorded quite recently. I have the song in full but can't say much more about it at this time.

Is it the same song that Brandy Clark and Sheryl Crow recorded?

Is it the same song that Brandy Clark and Sheryl Crow recorded? Didn't sound anything like it from what I heard, if Steve is talking about the one she posted on her IG story yesterday (or the day before?). Doesn't Kelsea write all her own stuff, too?

Yes I was answering kf1992's question about what the name of the song was.

Slightly older clip, but I wonder if anyone has any more information about this song she previewed on instagram about a month ago. Kelsea seemed to indicate this one's a contender for the album and that she might play it on her upcoming tour. If it's an indication of the upcoming album's sound, looks like KB3 might lean closer in the pop direction.

I just updated Kelsea's Roses today with the latest songs I have. But I don't have the song played above (or the one above that). We speculate the song above could possible be: The Other Girl, The Rest of My Life, We Could Have Been Friends, or Next Girl. But nobody really knows for sure. I'll let you know if it turns up.
I would say though that a majority of Kelsea's unreleased studio demos lean more toward pop, maybe at a ratio of about 3 or 4 out of every 5 recorded.

Here for the shady comment about I Hate Love Songs not working at Country radio.

Wow people can write such awful comments. Nice response by Kelsea. Kelsea totally deserved to be in the Opry. She works really hard in behalf of the Opry and makes appearances on a regular basis.

I know she has a bunch of pop influences, so it's not really that surprising when I think about it, interesting though. I was wondering, is there any sort of shift in that ratio depending on the year they were written? I feel like the - relatively few - demos I have heard from her are probably mostly country leaning, but they also seem to be mostly pre-the first album. I also assume most of those were likely intended to be sold to other artists, which might also be a factor in their sound.

To answer your question wishedonaplane, the shift to recording more pop demos than country demos began happening in 2015 but it really took off in 2016. She really pushes the boundaries, tries out different subject matter, does experimental stuff, and sometimes shares deeply personal stuff in her demos over the last few years, most of which nobody has ever heard (or probably ever will hear). Kelsea is such a stellar songwriter that she could easily be putting out double albums and have no filler material. She has some incredible pop songs like "If I Never Knew Love", but don't worry there are plenty of country hits as well.

I need new music :( I really hope she will release the lead single for her next album in the next 2-3 months with the album being released in late 2019.

She's on the title track of Thomas Rhett's new album.
I stopped listening halfway through the Maren Morris duet, but I guess I'll try to listen to the whole song this time.
