Graveyard Miss Me More Get Over Yourself Roses End of the World I Hate Love Songs Unapologetically MusicVery solid album; I'm impressed and still cannot fathom how Legend is what they decided to lead with. Hope they pick smart for the second single. Yaasss a SHOOTER review!! Yeah, they could've picked a better lead, but it's doing something for her. I should probably go a little more in depth with these but I’m usually at work/lazy. Let me add that her voice still has a kind of juvenile tone to me but I also find that to be equally charming and endearing to her material. However, it makes me wonder how her material and sound will mature over time; I can see an eventual crossover into Pop like Taylor. Not saying it will happen but I wouldn’t be a bit surprised if it did.

Just wanted to let it be known that I got Kelsea's Roses online, which is a site covering Kelsea's rare songs similar to Taylor's I.C. The site is still being worked on but I have the main page up and song descriptions for her unreleased 2017 demos. That might interest some people since the 4 potential deluxe edition tracks did not end up coming out yet and we have descriptions of them. Kelsea's Roses: www.kelseasroses.com/

Not technically related to Unapologetically, Kelsea recently sang a new song. I quite like this one, but it can come across as quite preachy, so I can see why they didn't include it on unapologetically, besides not fitting the theme Thanks so much for posting that live performance. Kelsea did a great job on it. I have the acoustic worktape demo of that song and it's roughly from around 2014. Here are the official lyrics if anybody wants them. " Hate Less, Love More" Someone's always holding up a sign drawing a cross in a line Painting up a downtown wall with what they think Standing on the left or the right always got to pick a side But why should we have to fight for what we believe Without being too political, or too critical, I've got something to say It's really not a riddle, no it's really quite simple, it may even sound cliche When it comes down to it, we're all human, the one thing we should stand for Is hate less and love more Someone's always gonna be mean, it's easy to hide behind a screen Thinking that the hurt ain't real if we can't see Pointing fingers at everyone else so we don't have to blame ourselves For not being the change in the world that we want to see Without being too political, or too critical, I've got something to say It's really not a riddle, no it's really quite simple, it may even sound cliche When it comes down to it, we're all human, the one thing we should stand for Is hate less, love more A little more sunshine, a little less rain A little more good times, a little less pain Cause when it comes down to it, we're all human, but one thing we should stand for Is hate less and love more

Steve, do you know something?

It’s a U.K. magazine so chances are it could be a U.K. only release. Besides I doubt her label will choose a single 10 weeks in advance when her current single hasn’t peaked.

I Hate Love Songs is the hit of the record but I would also probably send Roses next to give her a single with some tempo for summer. Then IHLS after that. If it’s IHLS though, I’ll be happy with it. It’s going to be huge.

Totally here for IHLS as a single but I really wish Legends would die already so we can get a proper second single release from any of the 11 better songs on the album.

I'd be here for IHLS or Roses. Hell even Miss Me More.

This has been such a messy roll out oh my god. What in the world do Unapologetically Vol. I: LOSS and Unapologetically Vol. 2: LIFE and Unapologetically Vol. 3: LOVE mean? How is she still only on "Legends" as a single? I'm just... confused... They seem to be scrambling.
Side note: "I Hate Love Songs" is going to do nothing for her. Sure, it can float to the top of the chart on radio (her label has the money), but no one's gonna know who she is anymore than they do now. There is no crossover appeal in that (or "Legends"). She seems like a young, bubbly person, and she has some great upbeat songs on this album, so why are they releasing these bland, milquetoast ballads that anyone at any age could sing?

It sounds like Kelsea is going to play her new album straight through from beginning to end on the upcoming tour. I think that's a great idea and am really looking forward to hearing the entire album live. I'll be at the Santa Barbara show.

I want to hear Naive so bad and I really need a studio version of We Were Like :'( I listen to the live version non stop.

I really doubt they are still planning to release a deluxe version of this album, at least for now. And I think they are likely to change the tracks they were planning to put on it if it ends up being released later.

I wouldn't expect to see the Deluxe before the end of this year. But Kelsea's camp is very unpredictable so who knows. My suggestion would be to save Miss America and Naive for the next album, rather than just giving them away as bonus tracks on the Deluxe. I think the songs are too good just to be bonus tracks.

Can she please give us the studio version for We Were Like at least? I'm still dying to hear that Honestly I would rather have a studio version of Fun & Games or Hit Song and they are far better songs than We Were Like. Also, I have heard there is a studio demo of We Were Like out there as well.

And it sounds like an amazing song for the summer! I would take the studio demo as well, as long as it's a studio version The song is just so refreshing.

The studio demo of We Were Like has been circulating among rare song collectors for over a year. I consider it to be one of the least rare songs in my collection. I'm surprised to hear it hasn't outright leaked.

That's interesting, as I personally think We Were Like is for me one of the closest songs to Kelsea's debut style from the songs she sang live from this era and never released. I remember she used to sing another one, Grafitti I think it was the title that still sounded a bit like "The First Time" album. Also, I think Kelsea should probably focus on releasing songs that show her songwritting skills development and I think "We Were Like" while fun and catchy it's not very well written. But for sure it's a summertime song!

We Were Like, Grafitti, Hit Song and Fun & Games would be a cute, little summer EP. I still remember seeing her video for the first time here in Germany and knew right from the start there is something special with her. I really like The First Time album, but Unapologetically made me a stan. I'm so excited for her nex few albums!

I remember Kelsea saying that they were looking at ways to release more music to the fans. I guess placing them on tv shows/movies would be a good way, but so would releasing an EP or something like that. Problem is Kelsea writes so much she probably has tons of great material and there is no way she can release all of them.

These two + We Were Like I'm most excited about to hear the studio versions of . Yeah, I know that she has a lot of unreleased material and it's a shame that she didn't put out a deluxe version with these 4 songs that were meant to be on there. The album release was only 4 month ago, but I'm already graving for new music

I'm hoping that for the Deluxe (if it happens), Kelsea will release Fun & Games and We Were Like on that. I'm hoping she'll save Naive and Miss America for the next album, because those songs are too good to be given away as bonus tracks. I think either one could even be a single.

Wasn't there live versions of Fun & Games and Miss America? She has to hurry up with the next album, because I'm already more than ready for Naive. You don't know if she will release Graffiti at some point?

I know that there is a live video of Kelsea performing Fun and Games for Tin Pan South. I don't think she has ever performed Miss America live.
I just listened to both the live version and the studio version of Graffiti. My thought is that it will never be released. It is a good song but it was recorded in 2015 and she has much stronger material. Also, the chorus has a slight similarity to "The Climb" by Miley.

The way she sings "everywhere I look there's graffiti" gets me everytime and I catch myself often singing it in my head. That's the song it reminded me off. :o I was wondering for a few days now, because it reminded me of another song and I can hear the similarities too. It's a shame that she performes all these great songs and they will probably never be released. That really makes me sad. :'( Graffiti might be one of my favorites of hers. There is something magical with it's melody.

Why is this thread so dead? Which songs would you guys chose, if you've decided the singles run on the album? Mine would've been 1. Roses, 2. Get Over Yourself, 3. Miss Me More, 4. High School / Graveyard
