"Miss Me More" is the best song of the 4 released thus far (and the only one that's memorable). This project is shaping up to be somewhat disappointing. I'm also truly shook they never moved on from "Legends." That song shouldn't have been a lead single let alone a single of any type. I'm confused how this happened after such a by-the-number great era. Miss Me More is my least favorite so far, but I'm a sucker for ballads. That's why For me it's High School > Unapologetically > Legends > Miss Me More But the project is absolutely not disappointing for me. The snippets all sound amazing, I think it's going to be my favorite album this year! I don't understand why they don't announce single 2 (Roses :kii: ), and release it along with a pop version a la the first snippet. |

Legends is still moving up the charts. It's up another 4 spots this week to #23 on Billboard. Several of the songs above her have been on the charts for well over 30 weeks and Legends has only been on for 20. So no need to rush the second single.

So I've sent an E-Mail to the company that takes care of Kelsea's official website and orders through her official store and I was asking them, if the deluxe version will also be available on November 3rd, and they told me they don't know anything about a deluxe version.

They would probably be obliged to say that contractually if the official announcement hasn't been made. I would not read much into it. |

It would be a shame because Adam (co-manager of The IC along with myself) has said that his favorite track on the entire album is "Naive". My favorite tracks are 1. In Between, 2. Roses, 3. Machine Heart, 4. Naive, 5. Miss America.

The album is amazing! After my first listen my favorites are Roses, Machine Heart, End Of The World, Get Over Yourself and Music!
Bottom 3 is I Hate Love Songs, Miss Me More and In Between.
She better release that deluxe edition soon!

I have listened to the album a couple of times, only complain it that it feels too short..I can see why Hit Song wasn't included, as it does not fit the "theme", but I still wish they could release it somehow..End of The World is great, Music is quite good as well. Roses and I Hate Love Songs I already knew I was gonna love, but In Between is a lot sweeter than I imagined and works quite well for me. Machine Heart is quite different from what I expected...

"In Between" is the one that is lightyears better in full than the Kelsea Central clips. It is a good song.
"Roses" and "I Hate Love Songs" are the two best by far and should be the next two singles.
I really think she made a mistake going so pop so early in her career. She needed one more radio friendly album to solidify her place, and she definitely did not do that here. I can see her struggling with radio with this album. Many of the songs also are a step below the offerings on her debut, but there are some good songs here. Big mistake not including "We Were Like" and "Hit Song." I hope I get to hear them someday, or that they somehow end up on the Deluxe because they are WAY better than about 7 of these.
I also think the Deluxe was probably scrapped right now because of the lukewarm reception to Legends. They will probably use it a year from now to infuse some more excitement into the project if it continues with lackluster reception.

I Hate Love Songs is easily the worst song on the album. I don't get why it is such a fan favorite...

"Miss Me More" and "Roses" sound like smashes so they should probably be the next two singles, in whichever order. Then the title track would be my preference for the fourth single, because I love it, but they definitely have plenty of options. "I Hate Love Songs" has apparently been selling really well on iTunes compared to the rest of the album, so that's also something that should be taken into some consideration.

If she doesn't release Roses as the second single, it will be the second biggest mistake of her career, behind only the fact that it wasn't the lead single.
This album actually grew on me a lot with how much I liked it. Legends took a while to grow on me (partly because I don't really understand the meaning that Kelsea has described), and so I just wasn't as into the other songs she released individually. They all sound a lot better to me in the context of the whole album and I can appreciate each one on it's own now as well.
I would say the highlights are: Roses, Graveyard, In Between, End of the World, Get Over Yourself, and Music.

So, I've listened to this album a lot since its release. It's really good, and I like the progression she's made. I definitely prefer the pop side to country-pop music in general, so my favorites may not be the best suited to country radio or whatnot, but I think this is a great album. She's made some real strides since The First Time; there's so much less filler on Unapologetically. I'm loving the more pop direction she's taken this time around because I think she really shines in that crossover space.
Also, re: "Miss Me More", I see people ranking it low on their list of favorites, but wow, it's my favorite song on the whole album. It's this album's "XO", which I'm still livid wasn't released instead of "Yeah Boy."
Anyways:
Love: "Miss Me More", "Get Over Yourself", "Roses", "Unapologetically", "Graveyard"
Like: "High School", "In Between", "End of the World", "I Hate Love Songs"
Meh: "Machine Heart"
Hate: "Legends" (what a boring, boring track)

Ok I know I'm a pop poster and the only country artist I like is Maren Morris but I just listened to this album I gotta say I really like it! I could see myself coming back to it a lot!
Instant favorites were: Graveyard, Miss Me More, Get over Yourself, Roses, High School, Unapologetically

Not technically related to Unapologetically, Kelsea recently sang a new song:
I quite like this one, but it can come across as quite preachy, so I can see why they didn't include it on unapologetically, besides not fitting the theme
