Tbh, I’ve lost interest in new Rihanna. She doesn’t care about music anymore and that’s ok. We still have a top notch discography to listen to whenever I’m feeling nostalgic.
I just wish people would stop asking her about new music in interviews because I can never take her answers seriously anymore.

The whole “drop the album” thing has actually become really annoying. I wish ppl would stop hounding her because it’s clear music isn’t her focus anymore and we always get the same answer. And I echo the posts above that I much rather she go out on a high note with “Anti” then serve us some half assed mid. She’s got a huge catalog to keep me satisfied atp.

People can wonder why Rihanna keeps getting asked about a new album since she's clearly over it, but Rihanna herself keeps answering the questions by saying she's working on new music. If Rihanna would just say she's over it or whatever, then the questions would stop. Why would interviewers stop asking her about new music when she continually says she's working on it? |

I can't imagine her being done, and clearly if she didn't care she would have just dropped a half baked album and set it out there to have people stop or fulfill a contract, etc. I think she was just waiting to put her energy and all into it and she just wasn't feeling it for awhile and had success elsewhere so that's fine.. I think she has another big era in her and I think the public (especially if it is good) will come right back to her. She is still one of the biggest artists in the world
edit - and that little clip actually seems great. it seems like she really is into it now and just was taking her time. the other times she probably was just getting the reporters to shut up lol. She also mentioned herself going back to what she has worked on and wants to re-listen and re-visit and not just throw everything away. idk it seems like the best "news" and most positive in quite some time from her

I hope she just drops an album with no warning/notice when she does finally finish it. The hype and success would probably be as big if not bigger than Beyoncé when she dropped her self-titled.

Outside of the fact *insert it's been 84 years gif here* since the last album, those soundtrack lullabies she released dulled any hype I have for new Riri music.
I'm sure when she drops something, I'll have no issues hopping on board. But her lack of interest and commitment to music has kind of rubbed off on me tbh. She can stay a mogul for all I care.
