Imagine Dragons Keep in mind that the season noted in parenthesis is not the season the song would peak, but likely the next, since most of their songs are sleepers.
Night Visions 1. It's Time (summer 2012) 2. Radioactive (fall 2012) 3. On Top of the World (spring 2013) 4. Tiptoe (summer 2013)* 5. Demons (fall 2013) 6. Bleeding Out (winter 2014)*
It's Time was a great lead to push them to mainstream, but I would've pushed Radioactive earlier 'cause I feel it fits better in the freeze (I still have no idea how it smashed in summer of all seasons). On Top is more uplifting and fits well with the rising temperatures. Demons would appear only later in the era to go with the cold weather. Tiptoe and Bleeding Out would be alt-only unless crossed over.
Smoke + Mirrors 1. Shots (fall 2014) 2. Polaroid (winter 2015)* 3. I Bet My Life (spring 2015) 4. Warriors (summer 2015)* 5. Gold (fall 2015)*
There isn't much to work on pop/HAC, since Smoke + Mirrors really don't sound too mainstream. I Bet My Life wasn't a bad lead choice, but it was wasted on a fall release. I would've picked Shots instead 'cause it fits better and it showed more potential. I Bet My Life would be saved to post-freeze, as the second (and final) pop single. Polaroid, Warriors and Gold would all be alt-only unless crossed over.
Evolve 1. Roots (summer 2016)* 2. Levitate (fall 2016)* 3. Whatever It Takes (winter 2017) 4. Believer (spring 2017) 5. Thunder (summer 2017) 6. Walking the Wire (fall 2017)
In a move similar to what Maroon 5 did with Red Pill Blues, the two leads were scrapped and downgraded to deluxe-only (that actually happened with Evolve btw) but they would be pushed to pop radio anyway. The actual lead would've been Whatever It Takes. Believer and Thunder would both be delayed for a season. Walking the Wire should close the era.

Panic at the Disco - Death of a Bachelor Era:
1. Emperor's New Clothes (Alt) 2. LA Devotee (Alt/HAC/CHR) 3. Death of a Bachelor (Alt/HAC/AC/CHR) 4. Victorious (Alt, then maybe HAC/CHR if either of the last two singles did well there)
The funny thing is it's not even like they chose terribly for the actual era -- there are just so many smashes on the album.

Cardi B — Invasion of Privacy:
There’s a TON of potential singles here, so this was hard. But I’d probably go with:
1. Bodak Yellow 2. Bartier Cardi (but release the damn video in a timely manner!) 3. I Like It (in addition to Rhythmic/Urban, push this one to CHR as well with an optional edit that takes out one of the Spanish verses and replaces it with another Cardi verse) 4. Be Careful (also push this to CHR) 5. I Do (also push this to CHR, though this probably won’t do as well as the two singles before it) 6. Drip (if this starts to get play on Urban earlier then push it then)

The Black Panther Soundtrack:
1. Pray for Me (released across the board months before the album as a stand-alone single to raise hype for the movie/soundtrack. Now assuming we are still going off the same timeline that happened in real life, LOVE is still climbing around this time — however it’s really more of the Weeknd’s song then Kendrick’s so it shouldn’t be a big issue.)
2. King’s Dead (released a few weeks after PFM as a way to throw a bone to Urban and hip hop fans.)
3. All of the Stars (released a couple weeks before the album as the final pre-movie/soundtrack single and the “official” album lead.)
4. Paramedic (sent to urban/rhythmic after AOTS is done as a final single.)
Imo the album was filled with many potential smashes across the board, and while it did manage to get two top 10 and theee top 20 hits, the songs’ radio peaks/overall longevity could have been a lot better had they spaced them out a bit more.

SZA - Ctrl:
1. Love Galore (months before the album, ala how Drew Barrymore was treated irl, but with an actual radio push) 2. The Weekend (push the Funk Wav remix to pop as well) 3. Drew Barrymore (push this to pop, assuming The Weekend didn’t totally bomb there) 4. Prom or Garden (the former if they want a riskier choice that could do something on pop — the latter if they want a safer rhythmic/urban hit)

Taylor Swift Reputation#1 Dont Blame Me #2 Delicate #3 Getaway Car #4 Call It What You Want Now that you pointed it out, Taylor's method of starting reputation rollout could be just the same but LWYMMD can be replaced by Don't Blame Me. Some may think it as a follow-up to IDWLF, a Fifty Shades-esque single. It also possesses the brand new Taylor quality, and the image that she wanted to show us for her reputation promotion. Many would expect it to be a response to her feud with KK & KW, based solely on its title, but would be surprised cause the song is totally different from that. Seeing as it's the first single and it's not polarizing (not as much???) as LWYMMD, radio would receive it well. There is no need to release another track immediately (a la ...Ready For It? release) because DBM would do better on radio than LWYMMD. However, the music video would be totally different. We wouldn't see the many Taylors talking to each other at the end of the video. And we wouldn't see Taylor dance. Promotional singles: 1. RFI--released 3 wks before the album release. 2. Gorgeous--released 2 wks before the album release. 3. Call It What You Want--released a week before the album release. Don't Blame Me would have already peaked on radio at this point so there is a need for a new single. For album promotion, a live performance of Don't Blame Me (imagine those vocals from rep tour live on TV.) RFI and Call It What You Want. A week after the album release, End Game will be serviced to pop, urban, and rythmic radio while New Year's Day will be serviced to country radio. Also, a music video for End Game should be released a week or two weeks after it was serviced to radio. (Not 2 months after, like what happened in real life.) DBM will be nominated for ROTY, Best Pop Solo Performance, and Best Video on the 2018 Grammys. More nominations: IDWLF nominated for Best Collab, etc. Depending on the performance of End Game on pop radio, a third pop single should be released. If EG is already being dropped by radio, Delicate should be released on January, otherwise February. January/February 2018: Taylor opens the Grammys 2018 with ...Ready For It? She then performs Don't Blame Me on separate segment. She will win the first two awards (ROTY and Best Pop Solo) while Bruno Mars wins Song of the Year. Though I love the message of Delicate MV (I've watched it more times than EG MV), I wanted a (more) better visual. If after 3 months Delicate has already peaked and is almost out of the charts, I Did Something Bad should be released as a fourth single. But it could be pushed to latter date, say June or July if Delicate is still doing well, also for longevity. But the release of IDSB should coincide with the start of the rep stadium tour (that IDSB live performance is so liiiitttt!!!!) If it were released on May, she will think of something to utilize BBMAs. And also, win more awards. Album of the Year, etc. By August, Getaway Car should be released as the fifth single. It is in the same vein as 1989 so it could counter the dark vibe of IDSB. Release MV two weeks before VMAs and perform it live on the ceremony with those lit as f*ck visuals on the rep tour. At the end of the tour on November, a sixth single should be released. Look What You Made Me Do should be a statement. She did rep tour, the highest grossing tour ever (hopefully!) Look what you (haters, unbelievers) Made Me (TS) Do (A blockbuster stadium tour and a successful album rollout.) BUT THIS SHOULDN'T BE THE TOUR VIDEO. Of course, radio won't receive this song well (look how it peaked at no. 5 on radio songs). Announcement of the 2019 Grammy Nominees. - Delicate - Song of the Year - I Did Something Bad - Record of the Year - reputation - Album of the Year - reputation - Best Pop Vocal Album and many more nominations To wrap the tour and the album rollout, either This is Why We Can't Have Nice Things or Dancing With Our Hands Tied should serve as the tour video by December 31, 2018 or January 1, 2019. February 2019: Taylor performs Delicate on the 2019 Grammys and wins 3/4 major awards. SOTY for Delicate, ROTY for IDSB, and AOTY for rep. Also wins Best Pop Vocal for rep. * Taylor Swift becomes the first artist to win 3/4 major awards in the Grammys since Adele in 2017. * Taylor Swift becomes the first female artist to win AOTY in the Grammys THRICE!!! And the first to win AOTY with two consecutive studio albums since Adele with 21 and 25. Let the last single leave its mark. She wouldn't release another song until the release of first single of TS7. There is just enough time for people to either enjoy rep more or discover new songs to ease Taylor rep fatigue (idk). After the whole reputation rollout, Taylor Swift earns 5 (or 6) top 10 hits with 2 (to 3) of them hitting the summit of the Billboard Hot 100. Then she's gonna make an album bomb on fall 2019 with her 7th Studio LP.
