I'm really, really enjoying this album based on first impression. The mixing is heavenly (unlike most of the R&B albums these days).
I can see this becoming my favorite R&B album of 2020.

Haven't listened to it yet, but maybe it could mean she's finally getting a Grammy? I think it's very unfair. She always delivers, always get noms and that's all. Time to award her. |

Looks like the only chart she made it on is Top Album Sales (#79). No sign of The Wild Card on R&B or Independent Albums and her first album to miss the Top 200 as a signed artist (sans her Christmas album).
Lost & Found debuted at #78 (#10 R&B) with 9k.
Turn Me Loose debuted at #14 (#1 R&B) with 27k.
Pieces of Me debuted at #8 (#2 R&B) with 36k.
The Truth debuted at #14 (#4 R&B) with 19k.
Let Love Rule debuted at #100 (#12 R&B) with 4k.

Are we getting a second single from this project? Even though "Anything for You" reached #1 on UAC, the sales were miserably low. I so so love this album. It's such a masterpiece. She tweeted (or maybe posted on IG) a few weeks back asking for feedback on what the second single should be since they were having trouble deciding. It is kinda surprising she got her first #1 hit from an album that didn’t chart but I don’t believe she won’t follow it up especially now that she’s fully in the driver’s seat; might as well rack up more Urban AC hits to compensate for the lack of sales! |

I really think it's her time to get her first Grammy this year...
There's no heritage act or major artist (like Lizzo last year) in the running. She should be able to snatch it based on name recognition and industry reputation.
