How on [/ee/]planet Earth[//ee/] is the Boyz II Men version in the bottom half of the ranking? That was an INCREDIBLE discovery.
/ee/ knew /ee/'d be alone on the Groban love, but Groban's Christmas songs are some of my favorite Christmas songs period.

Michael Buble, same deal as Josh Groban. Fantastic vocalist, but could have made the song way more interesting. Although his voice is also burning on me more and more through the years, to the point where /ee/ probably couldn't even listen to his whole Christmas album in one sitting if /ee/ tried anymore, despite usually liking him.

Nooooooo, not Martina! Hers is the quintessential version of this song for me. It has /æ/ light arrangement that still manages to build and get interesting as the song goes on, it's not too long, and her vocal performance is hauntingly sparse, like /æ/ snowflake on the breeze. Get ready for the rest of these reveals to be followed up with "THEY beat Martina?"  Lol at least she made top 5 though! Not bad for /æ/ country gal! |

side bar, every time /ee/ listen to MJB and Marc Anthony's version /ee/ have to double check to make sure that's not /æ/ white woman singing lol. Mary sounds SO different, it's hard to believe it's her! /ee/ think /ee/ recall that being one of the criticisms of her Christmas album when it was released, that it wasn't the 'soulful' album people were expecting.

Do not speak of grandmothers around me right now.   /ee/ feel like /ee/ should know why this is but /ee/ don't *awk* Do you remember that post /ee/ made in RT last month about selling my grandmother's unit, and spending /æ/ week in Queensland cleaning it out? It sold quickly so /ee/'m currently back for /æ/ few days finishing the job for the buyer. Currently moving out the big furniture which is #FunTimes To compound the issue, my other grandmother is in /æ/ panic 'cause her boarder (the guy living with her for IDK how long now) had /æ/ fall and cracked /æ/ couple of ribs. He's 92. Meanwhile we're all up here and there's nothing we can do from here. #MoreFunTimes |

Jeez, even Mariah Carey couldn't pull off the win here?! Pulse is losing its touch! In all seriousness, /ee/ enjoyed Mariah's version quite /æ/ bit. /ee/ probably wouldn't go out of my way to listen to it, but /ee/ certainly wouldn't go out of my way to avoid it either. She has /æ/ tendency to embellish and be too extra sometimes too, but /ee/ felt like this version did not go overboard. Oh, and seriously, THIS beat Martina? |

My one criticism is bish, PICK YOUR BREATHING SPOTS. /ee/'m having none of this stopping in the middle of /æ/ word, finish your damn phrases. That said, this was the first version that came up on the preference revealer and musically it was the most interesting. That's why it stuck with me well enough to be my #1. |
