 She is sporting kinesiology tape around her knee and shin. I really hope this isn’t a bad sign of her injuries coming back. We know what happened on the last tour, which was at a much smaller scale. |

Confessions was the first time I could and did watch her live. It was a dream come true! Saw her in Philly. My brother and father came to my graduation in Syracuse and I planned a road trip to several cities and states, and included a stop in Philly to see her. I invited my brother. I even told my father I’d take him but he declined :) we were so close to the left-side catwalk that I thought I felt her sweat :) it was surreal! It was the most expensive ticket I had ever bought but was worth it. I wanted to see her in the Sticky & Sweet, but the tickets I could find were too expensive :( I did see her for the MDNA, Rebel Heart and Madame X tours, all with my partner. All in good enough spots in the 200s.
But this is the Celebration tour of greatest hits! And she’s not getting younger! Sooooo I decided to buy the most expensive VIP pair of tickets. Going to the DC concert I n December and will enjoy the whole experience for the first time. I just wished she would make an experience. My hubby said I was crazy. I agreed lol

First time seeing Madonna on tour?
For me, June 8, 1985. The Virgin Tour at Radio City Music Hall.
I have seen every subsequent tour. My total seeing her is now at 23x including the Celebration Tour.

Celebration will be first (and probably only) Madonna tour! same. she's a bucket list for me. i unfortunately don't see her doing another COADF-esque album in terms of quality and genre so me going to an album-specific tour has long passed. |

MDNA on Barack Obama's re-election day in 2012 was my first Madonna show. It was also the first time she played Pittsburgh since The Virgin Tour.

imagine if they hadn't messed up her initial YouTube channel so much. I mean, they really did. All those numbers would be twice what they are if they had noticed trends and made an effort to develop her channel effectively like she deserved.

Such an incredible miss. Her channel should’ve been the vanguard. At the same time, I can see why she didn’t want to be viewed as a legacy act 15 years ago + leaving Warners. |

I decided to rip the asshole out of life and take the road less traveled by with no preconceived notion of what was expected of me as a woman. All of my role models were radical women like Frida Kahlo, Martha Graham and Georgia O’keeffe Great Artists with no Children!! When I finally did become a mother i was astonished at how grounded i felt but also dazed and confused as to how i would figure out the balancing act between being a good mother and an uncompromising artist. I walked through many years half blind and made many mistakes along the way. Because Every mother knows there are no manuals or rule books to follow. You just have to dive in and figure it out. I have Experienced my highest highs and my lowest lows as a Mother. No one could have prepared me. My friend once said to me that your children Are like pieces of your heart walking around outside of you. One minute your heart is bursting with joy the next minute it’s breaking! But how can i explain how i feel……… To say that I am Proud of of my children sounds arrogant or implies ownership. Better to say that they are all shining stars and I’m happy that their souls chose me to be their mother. And dear Mother…wherever you are. I hope you are happy with your grandchildren!! I often imagine you singing and dancing with us in the kitchen ! ♥️

I still love Live To Tell, and Take A Bow. Classic Madonna is truly my favourite Madonna, then Ray of Light and Confessions. Every time I listen to those songs, it takes me right back to those years. 💗
