The second single from Prizefighter: Hit After Hit, this unfortunately became Trisha’s first (and to date, only) country single not to chart. It never really stood much of a chance here, falling to the bottom of the pack early on. It wasn’t always last place, but it had a string of low ranks in a row that it never recovered from. The clue was because Trisha and her sister, Beth (who provides background vocals) sang it as a tribute to their mom Gwen (and the only video I could find of it was them singing together on Kelly Ripa’s talk show.

The second single from Garth Brooks’ Scarecrow album, it was also the second full blown Garth/Trisha duet to be released as a radio single, following “In Another’s Eyes” in 1997. They had previously released a few singles where one would sing background singles for the others. It got off to a quick start at country radio, but brickwalled in the top 20 in early 2002, eventually peaking at #16. It was always a last place contender here, and never really got out of the bottom 5.

The third single from 1996’s Everybody Knows, this one never really stood a chance, being the last place ranker for a lot of the submission process. Literally the last two lists received saved it from being our #40 song. Though not an absolute favourite of mine (there were much better third single choices, I think), this was got a bit of a raw deal as it was pushed aside for “How Do I Live” in the Spring of 1997.

And yeah, .indulgecountry is right - the clue was referring to LeAnn's single of the same name 3 years later.
