That's all that matters
It's also a VICTORY that it made the call outs!

GaGa's Callouts for "Stupid Love" aren't as bad as Taylor or Katy's from their last or current eras. (well I'm not positive about all of Katy's) It's got the lowest burn and familiarity scores which is good. It's just about the lowest in favorite and in the middle for negative scores so these can improve. It's not like she's dead last by a mile and the potential score isn't great but it wouldn't be in last place if it achieved it. Yes these aren't great but there not horrific either.

Not shocked by callouts. So many people had mixed reactions to this song even on here when it first came out. Still has been a great ride.
Canโt wait to see whatโs next!

Those scores doesn't seem that bad to me.. All tracks in top ten are SUPER OLD and the two newest, Sam and Gaga are #17 and #19.

Idk, I feel the song had a purpose to serve and wasnโt meant to be a long-lasting hit. The album was supposed to be out today and Iโm sure the second single would have been confirmed by now. I feel like even if the song is done at this point it still did well enough - at least it did better than I would have expected. The album delay has put a damper on hype for the era though and I donโt think this song on its own is enough to carry it. Had everything gone as usual, Gaga would have been making appearances and announcements and those would have supported everything along.

This song will at least peak at #10. It's gaining on The Black Eyed Peas and other songs behind it aren't gaining fast enough. Demi has slowed down, Trevor Daniel is too far behind and Dua Lipa- Break My Heart is about 2 weeks away from the top 10.

There are no newer songs because you need to reach a certain threshold of familiarity in order to appear in the call-out list. Stupid Love and To Die For made the list since this week as a consequence. And believe me, these are not good scores for the song, but it is something a lot of people were expecting. The reception for the song was already mixed in this forum and now we should expect radio to drop this in the following days - which should accelerate its decline on the Hot100 (considering that what has been keeping it stable lately were the good updates on the radio) The problem now for her and her team is that I do not know what they have in bag to keep her afloat till album release and tour. The coronavirus might weaken or kill a very nice momentum that she used to have but has been slightly eaten by the mild performance of this single. #always_pessimistic

She's not a regular popstar who is afraid of being forgotten after each single.

You can google them and a link pops up for Mediabase pop callout scores etc. I originally got a link from this or another board but I googled it as well when I deleted it before. Edit: Oops, didn't realize someone posted the links.

She's not a regular popstar who is afraid of being forgotten after each single. We'll see how the era performs then ! There is big difference between making an impact as a celebrity and cementing her legacy further. This is make or break for anybody of her caliber when it comes to the latter - is she there to play lead role or second role in the musical landscape of the 20's? She is certainly at that specific stage of her career and until Stupid Love she was riding a nice momentum and could have (could still) write herself a successful comeback narrative. You understand what I mean when I talk about keeping herself afloat, come on. I didn't mean she was going to sink like the Titanic, I meant what we all know - that no one is meant to be a cultural behemoth for ever.

Can someone that knows how to read the callouts explain them well?
It also debuted last on Hot AC callouts so I guess that explains why after reaching the top 10 fast, it has slowed down a lot.
I'm surprised by the reception by Hot AC public, I really thought she was going the P!nk, Kelly Clarkson route, Shallow and Million Reasons were big hits over there unlike on Pop. It went top 10 so that shows Hot AC was eager to play her but with these callouts...

The numbers arenโt as bad as โYummyโ or NRO were. Theyโre about โDance Monkeyโ week 1 level, which are pretty bad, but not rock bottom.
I donโt think this will keep chugging for much longer, but I do think it could secure a top 10 peak. Itโs time to pray for 20 weeks on the Hot 100

As long as the next single is the Ariana collab (and a good song that ultimately becomes a big hit), I'd say this did well. Top 5 hit, top 10 on it's main format... it's a song we all heard a month before it was actually released, and it sounds like a 2012 leftover. It's a great showing chart-wise.

The bad callouts are annoying but unfortunately not too unexpected. It does make me think this week is make or break, I don't think this can survive another 9 days. If they push it hard for the next two/three days and get that top 10 on Mediabase and billboard, they're free to move on from this single.

Iโm not surprised about the callouts - while I love it, the chorus can be quite grating. Overall, though, I think the song has done its job - top ten debut and peak, decent longevity, decent showing on pop radio and itโs got her name back out there. I think hype is falling a small bit for the album but Iโm sure the global pandemic isnโt helping.. I think she should release a second single before the album comes out just to build up that hype again. Hopefully it is as pop but with a bit more digestible chorus/drop for non Gaga fans

One of the most legit sources for the album releases (i.e. a record store somewhere in Europe) said that the album would be released on May 15.
