I think it has 10 PERFECT tracks, and the others are not that bad either. 95/100 album!

This a no skip album if you replace the standard edition tracks Electric Chapel and Highway Unicorn with Fashion of His Love (an iconic, timeless bop) and Black Jesus + Amen Fashion.

"Government Hooker", "Heavy Metal Lover", and "Scheiße" is THAT trio. Adore this album. this is correct, and the only three songs on that album that didn’t age like s**t. I’m going to sound like a crackhead but I honestly think this album is her worst. I didn’t care for Joanne but it had its moments and overall felt more polished. I just remember thinking this album was, sonically, a mess—which I largely fault Garibay for more than Gaga. He has great ideas, but terrible execution, and I’ve held that opinion ever since “Dance In the Dark”. Absolutely fantastic vocal mixing and production, everything else is garbage. I don’t even remember what his work with Kylie sounded like and I don’t want to. |

Just as I was gonna say, it’s so refreshing to see this album, which had a very mixed response upon its release, receive such praise a decade later...
I’ll hold that because it’s still true. They all have their high (and low) points, including this one, but it’s still such an exciting album to play through.

I've always loved the Born This Way album. Heavy Metal Lover for some reason is one of my favorite songs on the album despite it not be liked by most people (or at least from what I've seen). That is my favorite song on the record hands down. |

Black Jesus + Amen Fashion and The Queen are the only two songs that are just okay for me on BTW. She did The Queen better as G*psy.

The Queen and Highway Unicorn are the two tracks on BTW that I don't use, the former I have saved to my library but I almost never play it
Highway Unicorn is down there as one of my least favorite songs from Gaga ever

There are too many great songs & moments from "BORN THIS WAY". My favorite song from the album still has that same title it did when this dropped 10 years ago. It is 'Government Hooker'.

Currently listening to Chromatica and maybe it's because it came out late last spring during a lockdown but it really hits hardest this time of year
Returning to be summer soundtrack 2021 too!

I love how Chromatica sounds even better now, it really hits hard and seems to be a TIMELESS album (well, the inspirational sound is very 90s so..)

Born This Way is an incredible album — her best — and I’m so happy it (as someone pointed out) has become more revered over time whereas when it was released I don’t think it quite connected in that way.
It’s just GaGa being as big, bold, and brave as she wanted, and it just felt ready-made for an arena with all the 80s sounds and rock all over it.
