Only person that has disliked Gaga's performance here is an active hater of hers, so yes, Mother is winning again!
Hope the movie will be somewhat acclaimed too. We already know it'll be a hit - one local cinema has 5 screenings sold out in my neighborhood and the release date is still 4 weeks away

I wonder if she'll somehow be even more successful as an actress than as a musician. Not only is she riveting on screen, she's also very likeable. She totally commits. I am thrilled for her because she really puts in the work.

This is a must-watch too Thank you for posting this! I was talking to a fellow teacher today about how phenomenal Lady Gaga's career has been. She's doing so much and she is doing it all so well. I love that she comes off as sincere and appreciative of her fans. I've been listening to "The Cure" quite a bit lately. |

Her career really is a benchmark to everyone - her work ethics, her versatile projects, her talent. She does it all and she does it well! Obviously not everyone likes her but those who like, ADORE her.
There are lots of similarities between her and Taylor Swift - they both have their unique way of handling the pop biz. (Gaga is still to have the movie flop a la Cats though lmao)

Someone is pressed cause she didn't have a role? The dialogue coach on Ridley Scott’s much-anticipated “House of Gucci” film has admitted that Lady Gaga didn’t exactly nail her character’s Italian accent in the film.
“I feel bad saying this, but her accent is not exactly an Italian accent, it sounds more Russian,” Italian actress and dialect coach Francesca De Martini told The Daily Beast of Gaga’s vocal impression of Patrizia Reggiani, who famously hired a hitman to murder her ex-husband, Maurizio Gucci, in 1995.
De Martini auditioned for multiple roles in the film, only to be rejected as an actress, but was called back to help coach Gaga’s co-star, Salma Hayek. link |
