Variety reports that House of Gucci will be available to own digitally on February 1. It will be available on dvd, blu-ray and on-demand on Feb 22.

Gaga made it! SAG Best Actress nominee for House of Gucci! So exciting!! Also House of Gucci was a surprise nomination for SAG Ensemble. That’s an indication that it may just make the cut for the nomination for best picture Oscar. Also Jared Leto was nominated for SAG. |

I am hearing rumors about Gaga starring in the sequel of The Joker movie. Apparently Joaquin wanted Rooney for the role but it is Gaga's according to insiders who posted it on Deuxmoi.

Nothing is 100% sure, but she will most likely be nominated. She hasn't missed any big nomination this season.

I think the main reason why people thought she would was her other nominations. I don’t know enough about how the awards work to really have any expectation one way or another. I think the odds were in her favour to the point where she seems to be leading all the “snub” discussion right now, and I don’t think it does her a lot of favours because other than the precursor nominations, I don’t think I saw a lot of high praise for her performance in the film. (I didn’t see much negative response either, but nothing that was overwhelmingly positive that it guaranteed her an Oscar spot other than the “Oscar buzz” moniker). I think she’s still gaining respect in this regard and too much snub talk risks her being dubbed ‘overrated’.
All the same, I’m sad she didn’t get in. I wouldn’t have expected her to win. The only other nominated film I saw was Spencer and I think between the two, Kristen Stewart outperformed - and that doesn’t take into account other nominees (and potential nominees).
My favourite part though is seeing the stan sites (GagaDaily, etc) on socials go from “Oscar noms in one hour!!!” to posting videos and posts about how it’s not about the awards. 😂 If she had been nominated, you know they’d be posting non-stop.

Bf and I finally got around to watching Gucci the other night and found it pretty dull. Oddly enough, I actually had the same issue with this movie as I did with A Star is Born (although I preferred ASIB). I felt like Gaga’s character changed from one thing to another so dramatically and fast in both films. I think it’s more an issue with the pace and writing of both films over her acting.
Regardless of not loving either film she’s done, I’ve enjoyed watching her each time and I hope she lands a movie I enjoy more in the future.
I think the award will deservedly go to Kristen although I need to see Jessica’s performance. She’s one of the best out there imo.
