I did not really care for all the creative liberties the first “Joker” film took with the Batman mythology but my ass will certainly be in a seat opening night for the sequel, thanks to Mother Monster being cast.

Crazy that they already announced the theatrical release date over 2 years in advance.
I assume Gaga will release one pop album before the movie release - sometime next year?

Not on my birthday Gaga can possibly slay the role and if it's musical, i expect dark tracks like Government Hooker and Scheisse.

Ok, this is pretty exciting, perfectly suited!!! :) It can be ‘a moment’ if they play their cards right. It will be, who am I kidding. :)

I don't see Gaga doing another album before Joker. She's gonna shoot the film through 2023.

I think there's 50/50 chance. But if she is doing the soundtrack for Joker, it's more unlikely then.
To me, Chromatica still sounds fresh though.

My hubby’s friend got two available tickets for tonight so we’re going to see her in DC. Our first post covid concert with assigned seats. We went to see Sheryl Crow lady’s month but in lawn seats

My friends also attended last night's show in DC. Gonna get their review when they wake up.

I’d be interested in seeing how other shows went.
I went to the Toronto show (6th Gaga show!) and it was definitely a good time! It was my bf’s first Gaga show (and first major concert) and he was blown away. I think his transition to Gaga stan is complete.
I had forgotten how big Rogers Centre is because while we weren’t at the back by any means, I wish I was closer. We relied on the video screens to see stuff more than I would have liked. There was a lot more choreography happening, sometimes on multiple stages, that I wasn’t able to see a lot.
I also think there were some timing issues with the Toronto show. There were some gaps between sets, where usually there would always be music (or video) so you were never left with silence (other than before the encore) but between a few of the sets, there was a bit of downtime that I can’t see being intentional. And during the last act, Gaga was having trouble with her headset mic that kept falling so unless she was holding it up, we couldn’t hear her sing. On the upside, we know she sings live during dancing routines so there’s ZERO question about that 🙌🙌, I got the impression she was frustrated because I don’t think she was able to fully do the routines as one of her arms was busy holding her mic.
The costumes were great! I quite liked what she wore during Shallow. It’s totally not what you’d expect for a song like that but very Gaga. The show still felt very Gaga all around. It was great hearing the early hits but I’m glad she did most of Chromatica and the piano act (act 4) was my favourite. I also think it’s where she shone most. She seemed happiest here. At the start of the show, she didn’t seem happy, and at times she also looked tired. I was bit concerned and hoped it wasn’t a hip issue or something like that again. I loved seeing the classic choreo for “Born This Way” and “Monster”.
It was overall a great show! I wouldn’t say it was my favourite Gaga tour but it had a great setlist! And “Hold My Hand” does hit differently live.
I still need to go through my pics and videos and do an instadrop soon!

I hope she makes a concert film for this tour! I don't have enough vacation time to travel to a city and see her.
So many friends got married this year......

Also, I was rewatching some of the videos I took on my phone and am both surprised and pleased at how well they turned out (considering how far away I was 🫠)! I might have to upload some to YouTubes!

I have friends who went to the DC show on Monday and I’m getting major FOMO. I wanted to go but couldn’t get the time off work to travel to DC. This concert looked amazing from the videos I’ve seen posted online and I really wanna see Gaga live, especially because I loved Chromatica.

I've seen Gaga 2x and both times were random AF. Once was at Lollapalooza in Chicago and the other was at the Wang Theater in Boston. I will say it was really cool seeing her in a small, intimate setting.

The tour has been 100% sold out so far - and in New Jersey she dedicated Always Remember Us This Way to Tony and Susan after visiting them earlier.

Finally getting around to uploading more videos from the concert to YouTube. Here's Gaga performing "Stupid Love" and "Rain On Me" as far of the final act.
