I would love nothing more than GaGa to have a total resurgence and become radio (and streaming/sales) gold again. Pop radio and pop in general misses artists like her.

Bloody Mary stan since the literal day that album dropped, but I kinda feel like I’d be totally OK to never hear Disease again after trying to spend more time with it. |

That was predictable, but I was really really hoping she’d squeak above Drake at the very least. She really deserves higher than Bey as well if we are talking the context of “pop star.” Hopefully Rihanna takes the top, bc with Brit and Gaga out, she is the only true “pop star” left imo. But we all know it’s gonna be Taylor.

Drake over Gaga is just....a choice, but it's Billboard so it's pretty much chart driven ranking and Gaga just doesn't have the number of top ten hits/successful albums to do better.

Shit, sorry, I missed that part. Haha Britney below anyone is a crime. She is the epitome of the pop star and taught a lot of these kids how to do it. Britney's biggest era also falls under the 20th century which probably hinders her a bit. The only top two that would make sense is Taylor and Drake. They are literally by sales, numbers, touring, every vital measure the biggest artists of the 21st century and should rightfully be in the top 2. |
