I saw it again last night and I'd say I liked it more the second time. Also felt more emotional toward the end because this time I knew what was coming. But I'll Never Love Again didn't hit me as hard as it did the first time.

I saw it last night with some friends and we all loved it. I’ve been waiting so long to see it and it sure does deliver. I’d say it was more satisfying of all the other ASIB films. It is very entertaining and emotional with a beautiful production. Gaga and Bradley give remarkable and powerful performances especially Gaga. I think she commands the film and she is so good that at times she doesn’t seem like she’s acting. I predict the film will be nominated for many awards and Gaga and Bradley may be nominated multiple awards because it may have more than one song nominated. Anyway, I have a feeling the film and soundtrack will be around through the holidays. Go see it if you can. It’s so very worth it on the big screen. I hope to see it again.

Just saw this clip from YouTube: www.youtube.com/watch?v=ZBHFsHBxEp4And when in the middle of the clip, Gaga explained the music arc of the movie and why so many different genres of music in this album. I finally get it as she said that all the songs are their own "characters". It now makes sense why some of them is very country-leaning, some is pop and some is ballad that just hit your "heart" and "soul" that tying into what the movies is doing at the time the song is presented. So I am now get the full picture that all the songs is really tied to Gaga's and Bradley's character in the movie.

I did NOT expect full-blown electro/dancepop songs on the soundtrack.. whew that caught me off-guard and I was completely snatched. They definitely sound like they were made during the The Cure 'era' so hopefully that's a little sign of what her next album will sound like.

Hi skinny's! I'm back after some time off! Gaga killed it with the A Star Is Born Soundtrack, it's her best album since Born This Way for sure.

Saw the film, she did great.
Shallow still slays, LOVE that scene. Gave me chills.
However, my absolute favorite song is Always Remember Us This Way. Such a beautiful song and melody.
I felt the film could’ve been a tad shorter; it kind of dragged a little during the 2nd half. I see what they were doing with I’ll Never Love Again, but I find it too formulaic and even the way she sings it is very Whitney in parts.
I did cry in several parts during this film, it touched me. Overall, great job by Bradley and Gaga.

I took my mom to see A Star is Born yesterday. My dad took a hard pass on it. The only version they had ever seen was the Judy Garland version.
I am far from a little Monster and not even really much of a Gaga fan, but I absolutely loved the movie. She was able to pretty much drop the Gaga schtick and really find her character. She was great,. I was even more impressed with Bradley Cooper...his singing, his heartbreak, the downward spiral he was on, etc. His last few scenes in the movie totally gutted me. My mother was bawling towards the end and when the credits ended, she literally said "Wow."
She just called me and said she was "telling all the girls in yoga" about it this morning.
I can honestly say bravo to them both.

A new video! What a great strategy to keep the momentum going Love it of course! I love this strategy too especially putting out the music video of lesser popular song (that won't be a single) first with the film segment in it to promote the movie. Then wait for the right time to put out the popular song in a later time (maybe closer to award season or when they are ready to put it out as a single") to maximum their potential!!!

Beyonce and Bradley were confirmed as the leads when Clint Eastwood was going to be the director, but the movie got delayed by Bey's first pregnancy and then she eventually pulled out altogether. Bradley took over as director a few years later and approached Bey again, but she still declined. That was in March 2016; the Sean Parker event where Bradley saw Gaga was in April 2016. Bradley must have been really won over by Gaga's presence to immediately rush to her house and talk to her about it. I don't think he even looked at anyone else after that. Gaga to Bey after finishing production:

Saw the film over the weekend and really enjoyed it! I've gotten so used to Gaga's "pop star" persona, so I was pleasantly surprised by what a natural actress she is. She has great comedic timing and really sold the more emotional scenes too. Very organic chemistry between her and Bradley, who has a lovely singing voice.
Also, "I'm wearing my Jackson titties" might be the most iconic movie line of 2018.

Can Lady Gaga save the Oscar telecast next year? Interesting article from the reliable awards predictions site Gold Derby. www.goldderby.com/article/2018/lady-gaga-a-star-is-born-save-oscars-bradley-cooper-box-office-news/If Lady Gaga (‘A Star Is Born’) can’t save the Oscars, no one can
Marcus James Dixon October 8, 2018 Much of the movie’s success must be attributed to Lady Gaga. The singer-turned-actor has always been an object of public curiosity, from her unique red carpet dresses to her public statements about politics. Even film critics are, pardon the pun, gaga for Gaga, with our own Susan Wloszczyna writing that “A Star Is Born” marks her “coming-out party as a legit film star.” Lady Gaga previously won a 2016 Golden Globe for television in FX’s “American Horror Story: Hotel.” Not only is “A Star Is Born” one of Gold Derby’s frontrunners to win Best Picture at the 2019 Oscars, but it’s also a top contender for Best Actress (Lady Gaga), Best Actor (Cooper), Best Director (Cooper), Best Supporting Actor (Sam Elliott) and Best Adapted Screenplay (Cooper, Eric Roth, Will Fetters), among other categories.

Of all the "Ally pop star" songs on the soundtrack, I wouldn't mind "Hair Body Face" as a single.
"Why Would You Do That?" totally has to be an ARTPOP reject though so keep that far away.

To me, her career is bearing such a striking resemblance to Cher's. Which is obviously an outstanding thing.

I know it’ll be tough to make happen, but I would love if at least the soundtrack gets the #1 spot. I saw the movie on Friday & it’s fantastic. The music has really grown on me too, I’ve been listening to both Gaga and Bradley’s songs quite a bit.
Either way this is really great for both of their careers. I’m sure it will only get more so as award season approaches.

I have had "I'M ALONE IN MY HOUSE!" in my head for days now and it won't go away. This is definitely a big moment for her. The film and soundtrack are both hits and I can't go anywhere without someone talking about the film or singing a song from the soundtrack. This really did her well and hit all the right notes. This music works so much better than Joanne in my opinion (although that album had its great moments). I would dare to say this is the biggest "diva" soundtrack since the Bodyguard. Insane.

I just hope Gaga will become an Oscar Winner by the time the next Oscar winner. Not necessary with Best Actress (That will be a bonus for her and her career.) But at least an Oscar on Best Original Song will be very good for her. I think it will be deserving for her to win that one as the whole soundtrack has so many great songs that she should win at least that Oscar for one of the songs out of this great soundtrack.

I agree with this. I'm not sure she has any chance of winning actress, but hopefully she wins for something music-related at least to get closer to that EGOT. And this soundtrack is more deserving than "Til It Happens to You" (which, despite the sentiment, was pretty atrocious). She's just lucky Frozen 2 ain't out this year.
