Maybe the deluxe ASIB will come out the same day as a new album. Is the deluxe scheduled for November? What’s on it that’s new? My local record store has a deluxe vinyl version of the album that’s like $132. I think it just has an extra booklet and stuff. The regular vinyl already came with photos and stuff.

Still my favorite song by Gaga. Actually one of my favorite pop songs of the 2000s. In the top 5 :)
I remembered the drama here and my initial personal reticence to her ‘ugly’ vocal delivery in the verses. But soon not only I got used to it, but also I saw as the best way that part could be sung to convey the song’s message more effectively.
The song is hooks and melody galore! And Gaga at her creative peak. She built on an already strong pop song -Poker Face- and turned it into something unique, thanks to the instrumentation and vocal choices. That bridge as raw as it may sound is a key element that adds to its uniqueness.
And if we add the video to that... after the genius of Paparazzi she shattered her own bar of high quality visuals. The video launch was an event we hadn’t seen in years. It really reminded me of the times of Madonna and Britney when expectations for videos were built and people came through in masses to support their favorite act while the act totally delivered with a statement of a video.
Of course I’m still salty that it couldn’t reach number one in billboard. Unfortunately she sort of competed against herself, as Pap hadn’t yet peaked and Telephone -another event- would steal some thunder just a few weeks later.

I remember listening to the demo when it leaked and being BLOWN AWAY
had that one on repear until the official version was released... I was so used to the demo that it took some time to enjoy the released version, but in a matter of days it was EVERYWHERE, so... I finally ended up loving it as well
