She's lost some weight but I don't she's TOO skinny like some people comment. She's probably somewhere where she was during BTW era with her weight.

I miss Gaga’s old face before she looked like it was taped back 24/7 and her tragic lip injections.
I hope she serves good music with her next album though. It doesn’t need to be a huge departure like Joanne.

I miss Gaga’s old face before she looked like it was taped back 24/7 and her tragic lip injections. Personally, I don't mind people having operations and stuff but it's sort of sad that Mother Monster did that after (and probably before) singing songs like Born This Way. But it's her own obsession, she doesn't seem to treat people differently by their looks which is most important I think.

I really want Gaga to have a real commercial comeback, I really think she could pull it off. She just needs to be interesting again.

I'll give that her music videos have been exciting back in the day (for about 1 and a half album cycle) - but all that "artist of the decade" / "popstar of this generation" talk made me chuckle, mainly because nobody mentioned Adele. Adele literally blew up because of Gaga. Her appeal during 21 was that she managed to grab the people who had become tired of crazy outfits and autotuned vocals, and just wanted a regular average looking woman with raw vocals. Whoa was my reaction at first but when I read further...kudos!!! That's a true statement you made.

So... this spring she's been in studio with Bloodpop, Justin Tranter, DJ White Shadow, Boys Noize, HANA, Erol Alkan, Nick Monson, Martin Bresso, Mark Nilan Jr, Robopop and possibly Grimes The album will be such a hot mess It can be practically anything

The fame was such a bad album - the singles, I hope her new album can be good but I don't really think she can write verses well, she a hook artist and might always be

I didn't know she was in the studio with Tchami (Martin Bresso). That's extremely promising.

Why is she still insisting on trying to make DJ White Shadow a thing?
My opinion on The Fame is still what it was from the first time I heard it, half was great and half worthless.

I think with some editing The Fame could have been a killer debut pop album.

I think with some editing The Fame could have been a killer debut pop album. This IMO, the below would be a perfect track listing, and shortened, would have made TFM an even more interesting counterpart. 1 Just Dance 2 Lovegame 3 Eh, Eh (Nothing Else I Can Say) 4 Beautiful, Dirty, Rich 5 Starstruck 6 Boys Boys Boys 7 Paper Gangster 8 Paparazzi 9 Poker Face She was in the studio with Grimes? I love that! Even if that list of collaborators feels a bit wide, it's clear she's thinking about left-of-center pop again which is all I ask. Big hooks with weird production is what I'm hoping for.

I'm happy with most of your deletions, but I do love me some "Summerboy" and "The Fame." Otherwise, I skip the rest.

Adele literally blew up because of Gaga. Her appeal during 21 was that she managed to grab the people who had become tired of crazy outfits and autotuned vocals, and just wanted a regular average looking woman with raw vocals. part of Adele's success was that she was seen as the antithesis to Gaga and due to people being tired of Gaga's impact on pop culture, which just goes to show how big of a deal Gaga was. . Yasss Codex my influence You're probably the only person on this forum that's more impactful than the person they stan for. Slay! That's funny because Beyonce was very vocal during the 4 album campaign about how Florence influenced the album. 4 went on to outsell Femme Fatale :kii: so Florence beat Britney by association

I cannot not tolerate the disdain for "I Like It Rough". Out of all the tracks that weren't released, that was by far the best. It may even be her greatest album track ever lowkey.

Her debut is flawless and a perfect representation of where she was as an artist at that time. The only song worthy of shade is "Brown Eyes." And that's less because of its quality and more because it doesn't fit sonically with the rest of the album.
Easily her most listenable album from start to finish for me.
