Sunday and Monday were actually cooler for this time of year this past Sunday and Monday.

She was recording with Tony Bennett so those sessions might have been for CTC2 as well BUT I guess she recorded her own songs as well

The trailer was pretty much what I expected it to be. Still not interested in a remake of this at all, but best of luck to them.

I’m predicting now that the film will be nominated for a lot of Golden Globe awards in the Musical categorie. Film, acting, score and best song are a given I think. The Oscars may follow the lead but this is the 3rd remake. The trailer looks very promising. Love her look.
The soundtrack is going to sell well for the holidays and if the film is successful, it’ll rack up some dollars.

It's always been tough for me to believe a huge pop star in an acting role. It's distracting. Beyonce, Madonna, Cher, Mariah, Britney, Whitney... hell even Barbra. Some are better actors than others for sure, and the quality of the movie and direction can definitely make a difference.
The trailer is giving me a pre-Fame Gaga doing Joanne, but she does seem fairly comfortable and natural in the bits of dialogue, so it might work. I'm open to the possibility of a breakout role. And she's probably a shoe-in for a best Musical Actress Golden Globe nomination, given their track record with nominating crossover pop stars.
I'm sure she's thrilled, so I can't help but be thrilled for her.
