Nope, you do rank the actual songs, just like a normal rankdown  I know the rankdown title says that it is about Castle's favorite male country singers, but what he did was pick his favorite singers and then pick his favorite songs from each of those singers to represent those singers. So really it is a rankdown of his favorite songs from each of his favorite male country singers. Lol if that makes any sense at all  |

Lol if that makes any sense at all yeah this is basically my favorite Male singers but you are ranking the songs. I didn't necessarily chose my favorite songs but chose songs that I like a lot from all 50. I wanted to have a variety of songs for this and not have too many ballads or uptempos. Probably failed at that cause I tend to like ballads a lot but I hope it is a good mix and I look forward to everyones list! |

Tonight was officially the deadline. I'm extending without actually extending. There are some people who need more time to finish their list and I'm gonna give them the time they need as I kinda need the time before I'll be able to begin reveals anyways so if you want to get a list in please get it in asap because as soon as those who have let me know they are working on a list get me theirs I am gonna close this! I do have Tuesday and Wednesday off from work so I am hoping I can begin reveals one of those days so get those rankings in!

Alright who is around to get results started? I still have not put the last list into the results but submissions are closed and I am going to start finalizing the results. #1 contenders: Hmm, I can see quite a few actually. "Time Marches On", "Long Black Train", "I Let Her Lie", and "Dust on the Bottle", for instance.
#50 contenders: Well, I'm not really sure. Could say "Standing Outside the Fire" or "Then They Do", mostly because of the respective artists' reputations on Pulse. I highly doubt that would happen though, as I don't think they deserve to be dead last. I can understand bottom ten, but last place would be absolutely criminal imo. Maybe I can pray for a long shot in "Better I Don't" with "Surprise", "Threaten Me With Heaven" or "Makin' Me Say" as other possibilities?
Top 10: The songs I mentioned as #1 contenders plus maybe "You'll Be There", "Tomorrow", "She Don't Know She's Beautiful", "There Ain't Nothin' Wrong with the Radio", "Right Where I Need to Be", "Love Makes Me", "Bigger Than the Beatles", "Gone Crazy", "I Wouldn't Have Missed It for the World", and "Mama Tried"?
Bottom 10: What I already mentioned as #50 contenders plus maybe "Kiss Me When I'm Down", "Chillin'", "Bittersweet Company" and "Kiss Somebody"?
First and last legend eliminations: Hoping for "Blue Eyes Cryin' in the Rain" first with "Mama Tried" lasting the longest, but I can also see "I Wouldn't Have Missed It for the World" also lasting a while.
First and last recent song eliminations: "Makin' Me Say" oughta go out first, either that or "Bittersweet Company" but I think BC will have more supporters. I think "Get to You" will last the longest, but I can also see "Love in a Bar" lasting a good while.
Other thoughts: I really hope that decades don't get eliminated in one fell swoop (i.e. '00s in multiple consecutive reveals) and the legends and 90's artists do well here.

What songs do you consider to be contenders for #1? I think "Tomorrow" by Chris Young has a good chance. Maybe "Gone Crazy" by Alan Jackson? Cases could be made for so many songs! I could see Trace Adkins or even Clay Walker or Daryle Singletary being dark horse contenders.
What songs do you consider to be contenders for #50? Definitely Brett Young's "Makin' Me Say" is a contender, but also maybe something else from one of the newer guys (like "Kiss Somebody").
