Will be back in a few hours (after work) to post the last 3 songs before the Top 25! Within those 3 eliminations we will see the first song to receive a #1 ranking be eliminated (and hint: it is the first of 3 #1 ranks to go in a row...)
The other hint I'll give is that all 3 acts were on Radio within the last 10 years

Shocked to see this amazing Ronnie Milsap song out so soon. I actually got to see Ronnie live when he was on tour with George Strait and Taylor Swift back in 2007 and have to say he is probably my favorite opening act I’ve ever seen with George. I can see why he was so commercially successful in the 70s and 80s (even won the CMA Entertainer award back in the day). He looks to be very underappreciated here on Pulse, however.

That wasn't my favorite Ronnie Milsap song ("Smoky Mountain Rain" and "There's No Gettin' Over Me" say hello), but he did deserve better here. I think it's a pleasant enough song with a fairly low burn rate. I couldn't really get into Ty's song that much, although I appreciate the message he went for. P.S. Hunter and Wesley got robbed!!

Also, I can't believe that "I Wouldn't Have Missed It For The World" is not better liked. I cannot even fathom what there is to dislike about that song. It is SO catchy! But the three #1 losses about to be eliminated have me shooketh, so I'm ready! I am almost 100% positive my #1 is safe, but I definitely could see my almost-#1 leaving soon...

You heard that right! She was opening for George and Ronnie on their early winter tour in 2007. The show I saw was in Phoenix. She was still relatively unknown then and the only song people were familiar with at the time would’ve been “Tim McGraw.”

This song has grown on me a lot lately after hearing it more and more on the radio. It's really catchy and I like his voice. That said, I'm definitely looking forward to hearing more from him because I'm expecting that he'll probably have better material on his album than this one. "I Do," for instance, is much better than this one imo.

"Crying on a Suitcase" is marvelous and I honestly expected it to at least make the Top 20 here. I recall it being pretty popular on Pulse at the time it was charting, too.

I do like "Crying On A Suitcase" but for some reason it's a song I can never recall how it sounds until I listen to it lol

I loved "Crying on a Suitcase" while it was out and listening to this again reminded me of how much I loved it. Unfortunately, I ran out of room in my top 15 for this so my top half will have to do.
"Kiss Somebody" sounds like it'll grow on me, but it also sounds like a song that'll burn on me really quickly. I probably could've put this in my top 40 so that I wouldn't have felt that I overranked a certain song (don't really know what, though).

Anything you are surprised made it to the Top 25? "Threaten Me with Heaven" and "Standing Outside the Fire" Anything you are sad missed the Top 25? "Crying on a Suitcase" What songs will miss the Top 20? Gonna predict that Vince Gill and Garth Brooks both fall short, but that may just be wishful thinking on the latter. I think "I Let Her Lie" might be out soon, too. What song do you think is going to win? Keeping w/ my "Dust on the Bottle" prediction.

Obviously I'm sad that Ryan Kinder didn't make it into the top 25 because I stan pretty much everything he's put out so far. I honestly listen KMWID and "Tonight" all the time. I really like how the lines in the chorus change from NY to Denver to LA. Also I noticed that there's a new version on Spotify/Apple Music where the intro is a little longer and there's some extra ad libbing at the end.
I also think "Dust on the Bottle" is a lock for #1. Probably in the minority on this but I'm hoping Garth holds on a while longer haha

Ugh, I had forgotten all those typical famous males that everyone loves... Keith, Alan, Chris Young, Jason, Tim... it will get boring quick.
I don't remember who I ranked as first, but I hope Love In a Bar makes it far.
Oh yeah, Ryan Kinder rocks!

Anything you are surprised made it to the Top 25? I'm somewhat surprised Vince Gill's "Threaten Me With Heaven" made it as well as Michael Ray's "Get To You."
Anything you are sad missed the Top 25? Disappointed that "Cold Hard Truth" and "Hearts Are Gonna Roll" missed the top 25.
What songs will miss the Top 20? I'm hoping Michael Ray is out soon; I'm sure "Tomorrow" will make it but I'd really like to see it miss as well; "Nobody Drinks Alone" might miss the top 20.
What song do you think is going to win? This is really hard to predict but I'm going to say "You'll Be There" by George might take this one.

I'm surprised "Standing Outside The Fire" and "Threaten Me With Heaven" are in just based on how Garth and Vince usually do in Rankdowns.
There's a lot I'm sad for but nothing was really surprising.
Wouldn't be shocked to see Vince, Garth, Dierks, Daryle, and David go soon.
"Dust On The Bottle" there's a few dark horses I think but I can't see anybody really tanking David Lee.

#25 ~ Long Black Train - Josh Turner Album: Long Black Train Songwriter: Josh Turner I thought I would be the lowest ranker for this song and was surprised when I got ranks that were even lower, even a #50! I love this song a lot and would put it in my Top 5 songs from Josh Turner. It was hard for me to rank among these songs and ended up a lot lower than I ever planned to rank it. I almost chose the song "Unburn All Our Bridges" from the same album because that has always been a favorite for me, that song is amazing!
