I’m really looking forward to hearing single two. No negative on this song just that It does not get anyone excited about the Album. I really think Carrie knew it wasn’t very radio friendly. But because she’s Carrie it very well may go top 3!

I think this is a good song, classic Carrie but yet not too big-note heavy as some of her songs can be. It seems like some of the country music heavy-weights -- Blake, Carrie, and Keith (while it hit number one it took a long time and needed a major push) are having to work a little harder to get there. Good news is it seems like there is much more room in the past couple of years for more new artists. Also hopefully it will push the established artists to not ride celebrity but actually put out decent music. Having said this, I would like to see Cry Pretty reach top three. |

Hasn’t Luke Bryan peaked at #5 a bunch of times, at the height of his success? This kind of sweeping generalization is rooted in certain examples; not consistent patterns. Anyways, she won’t be a Jason Aldean or a Lady Antebellum; she’ll be a Carrie Underwood. At this point in her career, she has arguably the best track record at country radio out of literally any other artist in the history of the genre. She isn’t a comparison to anyone or their chart success. She’s the one everyone else gets compared to. No. Someone correct me if I am wrong but Luke Bryan has yet to have a song miss the Top 3 since "Do I". My point was that when an A-list artist has a dud or an underperformer. They bounce back like Jason Aldean did with post "1994". Or go Lady Antebellum where the success really starts to slow down and get more scarce. I think that Carrie Underwood would be more of a Jason Aldean in the sense that this song underperforms a bit with radio and than she'll just bounce back with the second single from the album. I mean I'll compare Carrie Underwood to whoever I want because she should not be and while she has had more years in success. I do consider her, Luke Bryan, Jason Aldean as essentially equals more or less in terms of A-list status since all broke out pretty big within about 5 years of each other. She hasn't really had a big hit since I'd say "Something In The Water" and since she was on it as a feature I will give partial credit to "The Fighter". Meanwhile Luke Bryan has had very successful big hit singles in the last few years "Kick The Dust Up", "Huntin Fishing Loving Every Day", and "Most People Are Good", all come to mind (Just for the record I consider big hit singlr to be the stuff that is in contention for the year end list all genre, so it goes beyond a radio #1 peak), and with Jason Aldean he arguably has like just taken a stranglehold as one of the Top artists in the genre with both of his singles this year just being massive it seems like. Like none of Carrie Underwood's own solo music the last couple of years has felt big. They just come and go in terms of impact it seems like, not an undeserving #1 with radio. But nothing that will be remembered even 3 years from the general public. Carrie Underwood is not immune from comparison to other artists especially A-listers. She just isn't in my eyes. I do see where you are coming from, I just don't agree at all. But a Top 5 is still a pretty solid hit, which I guess is why those comparisons seem odd. Sure, anything Carrie released went Top 2, and lead singles should perform better, but a Top 5 is still a Top 5. You can't possibly compare Carrie to Lady A when the latter never had that much success anywhere before "Need You Now" - their career was basically just the legacy of NYN from that point on. And Brad Paisley never had the kind of general popularity (as judged by their sales) Carrie has/had, so his radio success of course could be affected easily when that was practically the only thing going for him. |

I would love to see her do a duets album. Artists I’d love to see her sing with are Kellie Pickler, Sara evens and even another duet with Miranda Lambert and maybe with Cam. But a duets album with just females with about 15 songs with 15 different females would be awesome! |

I’m still waiting on Carrie and Kelly, that’s my #1 duet wish. I think Reba and Carrie would sound great together, too. After hearing their version of DHLY at the Opry, I was sold on that idea - which I already knew I wanted beforehand.

Back to the song, either Capitol needs to step in and do something about this song, or just let it die. It’s disheartening to watch this song struggle week after week.
Super sad that there is no Minnesota tour date or anything close. I’m hoping she’ll add more dates.

So happy she’s pregnant she said she wanted more kids. And also good news on album sales. Think about this if she has 3 shows a week of 15k people a night that’s 45k Albums in just ticket sales. What a smart way by her and the label to move Albums. And drive sales up. I’m still ready for single two though or it would be nice if she at least give us a new song to hear before the album comes out. |

Carrie Underwood picking two underrated and amazingly talented female acts to be her tour openers just makes me so happy. I love it. I'm going to try hard to see her for the third time with this tour, if I can. This will be the first time she's picked two great openers I wanted to see instead of just 1 (Sons of Sylvia for Play On and The Swon Brothers for Storyteller were both a waste imo). And then there's the news of her being pregnant again; how awesome! I'm so happy with this whole announcement. Go Carrie!  |

Plus Im glad she's bringing Maddie and Tae and Runaway June as opening acts. between Naomi Cooke's good voice and the talent of Maddie & Tae, and of course Carrie who can probably out sing anybody. That should b a good tour. When I see out sing I find it interesting. I think everyone style is different then who is better then who. The tone of a persons voice is what I like about a particular singer. Like Carrie Underwood to me is a high powerhouse singer that’s what I like about Carrie. Where as a singer like maranda lambert or Kellie Pickler has a little more of a traditional delivery to traditional country music. That’s what I like about them. I hope I make sense with the idea that every singer has there own delivery that sets that particular artist apart. |

Maybe this song will get a nice little boost after today. With the tour and baby announcement, plus the performance of this on the CMA Fest TV special. I'm not huge on this song, but you can't deny that her TV performances of it have been really darn good.
