Dua had much more of an impact in 2017-2018 than Bebe did personally, and her Grammy was RIGHTFULLY earned.

Dua was interviewed by El País, a Spanish newspaper, where she talks about mental health, trolls and comparisons between women in social media.

Clash Magazine talked to Chad Hugo and he mentioned that he and Pharrell Williams are back as The Neptunes and they've worked with Dua in a couple of tracks.

Chad said the following:

"KAYTRANADA was in the studio, we vibed in the studio, we recorded a couple of things. I don't know if he used any of the sounds but I love his work and his DJ'ing. ...and Dua Lipa? Yeah, yeah. She was here. Pharrell saw that she was using the same studio so we recorded of couple of tracks. We're still working on those."

New details about the album.

• The album has been handed it. This information was revealed by someone who works at Warner. That said, there's not any information about the tracklist or how many tracks the album will have yet and I hope it doesn't surface online until Dua does it (or the pre-order of the album appears). As an anecdote, the budget of this era has already been spent, so there are going to be renegotiations.
• Dua confirmed that the album cover will be revealed this month, which points out that "Physical" will be out as an instant grat whenever it's released as well. If this happens, I hope she unveils the single cover too.

That isn't surprising to me, actually. Probably wasn't a huge budget to begin with.

These days it seems most labels put the fate of an entire album in the lead single's hands, leaving said album to twist in the wind or throwing it out with little additional promo if that first single doesn't do well enough. Warner may have intentionally given Dua a small to midsize purse that was adequate for a big launch, but not enough for carrying out a full cycle. That strategy has paid off for her, so she can now use DSN's success to justify equal or greater funds for the second (and hopefully third) single.

Dua is becoming such a confident presence and it shows through her appearances, interviews, and especially performances. Proud of her.

Regarding the budget for her era, I believe the renegotiations will be successful. She is her label's biggest star and given the success of Don't Start Now, they're for sure going to go all in. So I'm not concerned.

I disagree, as much as I'd like to hear the music ASAP I think they should focus on singles and get her at least one more hit stateside before the third single that can come the week of album release. Seeing how streaming changed things, once she releases the album, the era will likely come to a close in terms of generating hits and promoting material.

If I were responsible for this rollout I would reveal album title & tease second single end of this month, push the second single later in February and have the album ready for a late March / early April just in time to kick off her tour in Spain on April 26.

That's basically the expected rollout to be honest, with the exception that "Physical", which is the second single, will be out this month. Regarding the album, it's going to be out in April before the beginning of the tour as you said.
