GOOD IN BED Love Again Levitating Hallucinate Future Nostaglia Cool Pretty Please Break My Heart Don't Start Now Boys Will Be Boys Physical
Wow. This album is very diverse from start to finish. Dua has stepped it up big time. The production reminds me of 90's pop sounds, which were really versatile back then. To me, it stands out with what's currently on Pop, and it couldnt have came at a better time. Good job, Dua. This is definitely the best of 2020 Pop rn.

Phenomenal effort here, she really killed it. Personally what stops it from going all the way and getting five stars are the last two tracks. They just don’t work with the vibe of the album and end the party on an odd note. I usually roll my eyes at Pitchfork reviews but they were right on this one in terms of the closing tracks. You can still change the vibe up but these just don’t work set against the strong body of work beforehand. Both Fever and Confessions - which are similar in tone and style to FN - just smashed until the last track even when they slowed things down or took on darker subject matter.

Just finished my first listen of Future Nostalgia and this album is pop gold. It has some amazing songs, many good songs, and a few average songs. But there isn’t one bad song on the album. This is so far my favorite release of 2020.
1. Future Nostalgia (8/10) - great album opener 2. Don’t Start Now (9/10) - this grew on me over time to become a favorite and it’s the perfect lead single for this era 3. Cool (8/10) - I love the vibe of this song. This gives me 1989 vibes. 4. Physical (10/10) - Still perfection and on the level of “Into You” greatness 5. Levitating (9/10) - Another bop of a song and I love the chorus & bridge 6. Pretty Please (7/10) - One of the lower points on the album for me but still groovy 7. Hallucinate (10/10) - OH MY GOD THIS IS AMAZING! I need this to be the fourth single. Hallucinate is to Physical the way BMH is to DSN 8. Love Again (8/10) - A cute bop and I like the sample but I’m trying to remember what song this samples. 9. Break My Heart (10/10) - Amazing song!! After a few listens yesterday, this quickly became one of my favorites. 10. Good In Bed (8/10) - I can see why people don’t care for this but I like this song. The production is what saves this for me. 11. Boys Will Be Boys (8/10) - This is a cute album closer and wraps up this album perfectly
I’m officially a Dua Lipa stan now.

Much better album than any work she released before. It’s not bloated or bogged down by filler. After one listen, the following tracks made an immediate impression on me: - Break My Heart - Good In Bed - Hallucinate - Pretty Please - Levitate - Don’t Start Now
I think the only song I recall being truly tepid over was the closer, Boys Will Be Boys. It had potential, but the chorus ruined for me.

I wish the basement B*tchfork runs out of will burn and collapse in a terrorist attack...anyways, the album is one of the skinniest pieces of pop to land on Earth, get this to #1 NOW.

I knew the album would be very cohesive based on the fact that the songs she's been doing since 2018 had a very specific sound so those who love that kind of genre shouldn't be disappointed with it. I, on the other hand, can't take an album full of retro/disco which is why I got bored halfway through it. It's objectively an excellently produced modern pop album but when it comes down to it, I'll only go back to Future Nostalgia, Physical and maybe Good In Bed because it's so different from the rest of the tracks. edit: does Cool sample the Weeknd's I Feel It Coming? Lily Allen influence on "Good in Bed"? Yes! Not Fair immediately comes to mind as far as lyrics go and even the production could fit into a Lily Allen album.

I kind of feel the same way. I got bored coming to the end. It all started to blend together for me. Yes, it is cohesive and well produced but it needed something to break it up. I will give it more spins in the coming days though.

Juan Carlos I hate to be that guy, but I think the figure is referring to 250-300k units in total activity to date, including the 4 prerelease singles activity overtime.

Juan Carlos, I feel she should be able to pull that figure! The label did right releasing it earlier because DSN killing on radio and chart wise! I'm thinking 120k +

Levitating and Love Again both are easily my top two off the album. I'm praying these are the next singles. I think they'd easily SMASH.
Not one dud on the album which is impressive but I will admit that there is a song I skip...Boys Will Be Boys.

I’m sad her album got leaked and she had to up her release, but at the same times it’s nice having new, good music to jam to during these unfortunate and unforgettable times.
I’d say I’d give this album a 9/10. Not many tracks I don’t enjoy, that being said, those would be:
Good In Bed and Future Nostalgia.
Wow. She did it!! I loved her last, but this is giving me it a run for its money. Goooo, Dua!! ❤️ I was slightly hesitant because I feel like a lot of pop music has been complete hype lacklustre/filler these days, but this is good. 👏 Dua to save Pop music. (Don’t get me wrong there have been some great pop album releases).

After a few more listens, outside of the 3 singles (which are all amazing), Hallucinate, Levitating, and Cool are all phenomenal. I wouldn’t mind any of those being the next single. I keep going back to those songs.
Love Again is slowly growing on me too.

Wow,someone asked Dua Lipa about a sophomore slump and she really went "Who?".
Bless this gorgeous queen for this album in our time in need. What a tight, cohesive album.

Future Nostalgia is currently at 89 on Metacritic, based on 15 reviews. A huge win for pop music.
