DJ Khaled Debuts 7 Songs From New Album 'Father of Asahd' on Hot 100

"Wish Wish" opens the highest at No. 19.

As DJ Khaled collects his eighth top 10 album on the Billboard 200 (dated June 1), with Father of Asahd opening at No. 2 with 136,000 equivalent album units, according to Nielsen Music, he lands seven songs from the LP on the Billboard Hot 100.

"Wish Wish," featuring Cardi B and 21 Savage, and "Higher," featuring Nipsey Hussle and John Legend, bow at Nos. 19 and 21, respectively, earning Khaled his 15th and 16th top 40 Hot 100 hits.

Young Thug Debuts 9 Songs From New Album 'So Much Fun' on Hot 100

He lands 11 total songs on the chart and four in the top 40.
As Young Thug celebrates his first career No. 1 album on the Billboard 200 chart (dated Aug. 31), with So Much Fun arriving with 131,000 equivalent album units earned, according to Nielsen Music, he also lands 11 songs on the Billboard Hot 100, 10 of which are from the set.

Nine of the 11 tracks debut on the latest Hot 100, joining "The London" with J. Cole and Travis Scott at No. 21 (after peaking at No. 12 in June), and Post Malone's "Goodbyes" on which he's featured at No. 9 (following its No. 3 peak in July).

Of the new entries, "Hot," featuring Gunna, and "Bad Bad Bad," featuring Lil Baby, lead the way at Nos. 26 and 32, respectively, earning Thug his eighth and ninth top 40 Hot 100 hits.

Swift rewrites the record for the most simultaneous Hot 100 entries for a female artist.

Taylor Swift charts all 18 songs from her new album Lover on the Billboard Hot 100 (dated Sept. 7).

While three songs continue their chart runs and one re-enters, 14 debut, pushing her total to 95 career entries.

With her haul, Swift rewrites the record for the most simultaneous charted Hot 100 titles among women, as her 18 songs pass the 14 that Billie Eilish tallied on April 13, the week that Eilish's album When We All Fall Asleep, Where Do We Go? bowed atop the Billboard 200. Among all acts, Drake has charted the most Hot 100 hits in a single week: 27, on July 14, 2018, when his album Scorpion started at No. 1 on the Billboard 200.

As previously reported, Swift's Lover launches at No. 1 on the Billboard 200 with 867,000 equivalent album units (679,000 in album sales), according to Nielsen Music.

Swift's 18 simultaneous Hot 100 entries surpass her prior-best 11 that she charted on the list dated Nov. 13, 2010, when her album Speak Now opened atop the Billboard 200. Likewise, her 14 Hot 100 debuts mark a new personal high, topping her 10 arrivals concurrent with the chart start of Speak Now.

Swift triples the Hot 100 output of her album prior to Lover, as six songs total charted from her 2017 set Reputation.

Now with 95 career Hot 100 appearances, Swift ties Chris Brown for the eighth-most in the chart's 61-year history. Among women, Swift trails only Nicki Minaj (104). The Glee Cast leads all acts with 207 entries, with runner-up Drake closing in on the mark (204).

All 17 Songs From Post Malone's 'Hollywood's Bleeding' Album Chart on Billboard Hot 100

As Post Malone scores a massive week on Billboard's charts, all 17 tracks from his new LP Hollywood's Bleeding land on the Billboard Hot 100 (dated Sept. 21).

Hollywood's Bleeding opens at No. 1 on the Billboard 200 albums chart with 489,000 equivalent album units, according to Nielsen Music, marking the second-biggest one-week consumption total of 2019 and the biggest streaming week of the year.

While four songs continue their Hot 100 runs, 13 debut, upping Malone's total to 44 career entries (notably, matching the totals of J. Cole, Pitbull, Ricky Nelson and Frank Sinatra).

Meanwhile, Malone lands four concurrent songs in the Hot 100's top 10, a feat achieved previously only by 50 Cent, The Beatles, Drake, Lil Wayne and T-Pain. Drake holds the record for the most simultaneous top 10s, seven, on July 14, 2018.

Plus, with his feature on "Take What You Want," Ozzy Osbourne earns his second trip to the Hot 100's top tier and breaks the record for the longest break between top 10s: 30 years and three months between "Take What You Want" and "Close My Eyes Forever," with Lita Ford, in June 1989.

Lil Baby Now Has as Many Hot 100 Hits as Prince & Paul McCartney

As Lil Baby’s My Turn starts at No. 1 on the Billboard 200, the album’s mighty streaming numbers prompt a dozen of its tracks to arrive on the Billboard Hot 100 for the first time. The 12 new recruits join two previously released singles to give the rapper 14 Turn cuts on the chart at once.

Turn earned 197,000 equivalent album units in the week ending March 5, according to Nielsen Music/MRC Data, with 184,000 of the sum deriving from streaming activity. The number translates to 261.6 million on-demand streams for the album’s songs, making it the most-streamed album of any single week since Post Malone’s Hollywood’s Bleeding debut frame last September.


Of Lil Baby’s newest Hot 100 entries, “Heatin Up,” a pairing with frequent collaborator Gunna, provides the highest debut at No. 18. The song unsurprisingly boasts the best streaming total of the lot, too, with 26.1 million U.S. streams in the week ending March 5, enough to score a No. 3 entrance on the Streaming Songs chart.

Beyond the new arrivals, Turn lead single “Woah” achieves a new Hot 100 best as it jumps 24-15, one spot above its previous peak, and nabs up the chart’s weekly Streaming Gainer prize. Second single “Sum 2 Prove,” meanwhile, flies 46-26, after having reached No. 16 upon its debut in January.

The Turn debuts push Lil Baby to 47 total Hot 100 hits since “My Dawg” entered in the final chart week of 2017. In that time, only Drake has landed more songs on the chart, with 50.
Notably, Lil Baby now owns the same number of Hot 100 hits as, among others, Prince and Paul McCartney’s post-Beatles solo career. Drake and the Glee Cast share the record, with 207 Hot 100 hits each.
Elsewhere, the avalanche of Turn activity powers Lil Baby to No. 1 on the Billboard Artist 100, his first time atop the ranking.

As Rod Wave celebrates the debut of his new sophomore LP Pray 4 Love, which opens at No. 2 on the Billboard 200 (dated April 18) with 72,000 equivalent album units, according to Nielsen Music/MRC Data, the rapper-singer also sports nine songs on the Billboard Hot 100 songs chart.

As Juice WRLD's posthumous LP Legends Never Die soars in at No. 1 on the Billboard 200 chart (dated July 25) with 497,000 equivalent album units, according to Nielsen Music/MRC Data, the largest weekly this sum this year, the late singer/rapper lands 17 tracks, all from the set, on the Billboard Hot 100.

Five of the 17 songs chart in the Hot 100's top 10, as Juice WRLD becomes just the third act in the chart's 62-year history to score at least that many songs in the region simultaneously, joining only The Beatles and Drake.

Juice WRLD's "Come & Go," with Marshmello, leads his total at No. 2, matching his breakthrough 2018 hit "Lucid Dreams" for his best rank.

As Taylor Swift's "Cardigan" launches at No. 1 on the Billboard Hot 100, all 16 songs on the standard edition of parent album Folklore debut on the chart (dated Aug. 8).

Folklore soars in at No. 1 on the Billboard 200 albums chart with 846,000 equivalent album units, according to Nielsen Music/MRC Data, as Swift becomes the first artist ever to debut at No. 1 on both the Hot 100 and Billboard 200 in the same week.

Swift sets a new high among women for the most simultaneous Hot 100 debuts with her 16 new entries, breaking her own record: 14 songs of hers debuted on Sept. 7, 2019, when her prior LP Lover launched atop the Billboard 200. Among all acts, Drake (July 14, 2018) and Lil Wayne (Oct. 13, 2018) share the mark with 22 entrances each in a single week.

Future and Lil Uzi Vert debut 10 songs on the Billboard Hot 100 chart (dated Nov. 28) from their new collaborative studio album Pluto x Baby Pluto, which opens at No. 2 on the Billboard 200 with 105,000 equivalent album units, according to Nielsen Music/MRC Data.

"Life Goes On" leads with its No. 1 launch.
BTS lands seven entries on the latest Billboard Hot 100 (dated Dec. 5), marking the most that the South Korean superstars have charted in a single week.

All seven songs appear on BTS' new album Be, which launches as the group's fifth No. 1 on the Billboard 200, as it arrives with 242,000 equivalent album units (177,000 in album sales, according to Nielsen Music/MRC Data. The album's first week is the largest for an album by a group in terms of both equivalent album units and album sales since BTS' own Map of the Soul: 7, which earned 422,000 units (347,000 in album sales) in its first week (chart dated March 7).

"Life Goes On" leads BTS' Hot 100 haul, as it soars in at No. 1, becoming the group's third No. 1, after "Dynamite" in September and "Savage Love (Laxed – Siren Beat)," with Jason Derulo and Jawsh 685, in October.

Further, Rodrigo is just the sixth woman to chart at least 11 songs on the Hot 100 at once. She joins Swift (the leader with 18, on Sept. 7, 2019), Cardi B, Beyoncé, Billie Eilish and Ariana Grande. (Among all acts, Drake drew a record 27 songs on the July 14, 2018, Hot 100.)

Among Rodrigo's other new achievements, she spends a 10th week at No. 1 on the Hot 100 Songwriters chart, thanks to her writing credits on all 11 tracks on Sour. She ties Roddy Ricch for the second-most weeks spent at No. 1 in the chart's two-year history, after Finneas (11).

Lil Durk has charted the most Hot 100 hits of any act in 2021.
Lil Baby and Lil Durk team up for a huge week on Billboard's charts (dated June 19), thanks to the opening frame of their collaborative album The Voice of the Heroes.

The set launches at No. 1 on the Billboard 200 with 150,000 equivalent album units, according to MRC Data, earning Lil Baby his second leader and Lil Durk his first. It's the first collaborative No. 1 by a pair of rappers since 21 Savage and Metro Boomin's Savage Mode II last October. It also scores the second-biggest week of the year for a hip-hop album, after J. Cole's The Off-Season, which opened with 282,000 units in May.

The 16 debuts push Lil Baby's career total to 90 Hot 100 entries, dating to his first, "My Dawg," in December 2017. He's the 14th artist to reach that threshold in the chart's 62-year history, with Drake leading all acts with 233 visits.

Lil Durk has now charted 42 titles on the Hot 100. He first appeared in October 2018 with Lil Baby and Gunna's "Off White Vlone," featuring Durk and NAV.

Meanwhile, Lil Durk has charted 33 songs on the Hot 100 in 2021 alone, surpassing Morgan Wallen (19) for the most among all artists this year. Lil Baby now ranks second with 28 entries.

He's the second act to chart at least that many songs on the Hot 100 in a single week.
In another highlight of his massive week on Billboard's charts (dated Sept. 11), Kanye West charts 23 songs on the Billboard Hot 100, all of which are debuts from his new album Donda.

Donda launches at No. 1 on the Billboard 200 chart with 309,000 equivalent album units, according to MRC Data, marking the biggest week of the year so far, surpassing the opening frame of Olivia Rodrigo's Sour (295,000, June 5). West earns his 10th No. 1 album, becoming just the seventh artist with at least that many, joining The Beatles (19), Jay-Z (14; he provides uncredited guest vocals on Donda's "Jail"), Bruce Springsteen, Barbra Streisand (11 each), Eminem and Elvis Presley (10 each).

In the 63-year history of the Hot 100, only one other artist has charted at least 23 songs on the list in a single week: Drake, who has done so three times. He charted 24 titles on the April 8, 2017-dated survey, and again on July 21, 2018. On July 14, 2018, he landed a record 27 songs on the Hot 100, concurrent with the chart start of his LP Scorpion.


The 23 debuts on the Hot 100 up West's total to 133 career entries, the fifth-most all-time. Drake leads with 237 (a sum set to increase next week, on the chart dated Sept. 18, following the Sept. 3 release of his LP Certified Lover Boy). The Glee cast ranks second with 207 entries, followed by Lil Wayne (175) and Taylor Swift (137).

"Hurricane" and "Jail" also mark West's 19th and 20th top 10s on the Hot 100, as he becomes the 21st act to reach the milestone of 20 or more top 10s.

West also now has 68 career top 40 hits on the Hot 100, the fifth-most, after Drake (122), Lil Wayne (86), Elvis Presley and Swift (80 each).

Plus, in 2021 alone, West has charted 25 songs on the Hot 100, the third-most after Lil Durk (35; he provides vocals on Donda's "Jonah") and Lil Baby (28; he contributes vocals, with The Weeknd, to "Hurricane").

Drake boasts one of the most dominant weeks in the 63-year history of the Billboard Hot 100 songs chart, as he becomes the first artist ever to claim as many as nine of the top 10 positions in a single frame.

Among his Hot 100 haul, the superstar infuses the entire top five, a feat previously achieved only by The Beatles for a week in 1964.


Leading the way, Drake's "Way 2 Sexy," featuring Future and Young Thug, launches at No. 1 on the Hot 100. In all, Drake debuts 21 songs on the Hot 100, all from his new album Certified Lover Boy (released Sept. 3 on OVO Sound/Republic Records), which blasts in at No. 1 on the Billboard 200 chart with 613,000 equivalent album units earned in the U.S. in the week ending Sept. 9, according to MRC Data, the biggest weekly sum for an album in over a year.

Meanwhile, with all nine of Drake's new Hot 100 top 10s from Certified Lover Boy, the set is the first album ever to generate as many as nine top 10 Hot 100 hits.

Drake debuts atop Hot 100 & Billboard 200: As Certified Lover Boy and "Way 2 Sexy" premiere at No. 1 on the Billboard 200 and Hot 100, respectively, Drake joins Justin Bieber, BTS and Taylor Swift as the only acts to have debuted atop both charts simultaneously.

Swift inaugurated the club when Folklore and "Cardigan" began atop the respective charts dated Aug. 8, 2020; BTS' Be and "Life Goes On" followed (Dec. 5); Swift repeated the feat with Evermore and "Willow" (Dec. 26); and Bieber doubled up atop the April 3 rankings with the entrances of Justice and "Peaches," featuring Daniel Caesar and Giveon.

Future's first Hot 100 No. 1: With "Way 2 Sexy," Future celebrates his first Hot 100 leader, ending the longest wait for a first No. 1 among chart-topping acts (by total appearances), as he now totals 126 career entries.

The song is Future's fourth Hot 100 top 10, and third with Drake, after "Life is Good," by Future featuring Drake, peaked at No. 2 for eight weeks in January-March 2020 and "Love Me," by Lil Wayne featuring Drake and Future, reached No. 9 in March 2013. In between, Future's own "Mask Off" hit No. 5 in May 2017.

Young Thug's third Hot 100 No. 1: Young Thug scores his third Hot 100 No. 1, following his fellow featured turns on Travis Scott's "Franchise," also featuring M.I.A. (one week at No. 1, October 2020), and Camila Cabello's "Havana" (one, January 2018).

"Way 2 Sexy" is also Young Thug's fifth Hot 100 top 10.


"2 ... 3 Sexy": "Way 2 Sexy" interpolates Right Said Fred's '90s smash "I'm Too Sexy," and now a third iteration of the composition takes a winning turn on the Hot 100's catwalk.

The British act's original led the Hot 100 for three weeks in February 1992. In 2017, Swift's "Look What You Made Me Do," which likewise reworks elements of "I'm Too Sexy," spent three weeks at No. 1 that September.


Drake meets The Beatles: Drake becomes the second act ever to monopolize the Hot 100's top five in a single week. The Beatles first achieved the feat on the chart dated April 4, 1964, at the heights of early U.S. Beatlemania, with these five classics:

"Champagne Poetry," at No. 4, interpolates The Beatles' "Michelle," and John Lennon and Paul McCartney receive writing credit on the new entry. ("Michelle," released on the Fab Four's 1965 album Rubber Soul, became a worldwide hit and won the 1967 Grammy Award for song of the year. While the song was not released as a single for The Beatles in the U.S., three "Michelle" covers hit the Hot 100 in 1966: by David & Jonathan [No. 18 peak], Bud Shank [No. 65] and Billy Vaughn [No. 77].)

Drake is, thus, the first soloist to own the entire top five on the Hot 100 in a single week, as well as the first artist to debut songs at Nos. 1-5 in one frame. For the latter mark, he bests his triple on the chart dated March 20, when he became the first act to debut titles in the top three together: "What's Next"; "Wants and Needs," featuring Lil Baby; and "Lemon Pepper Freestyle," featuring Rick Ross, at Nos. 1, 2, and 3, respectively.


Nine of top 10, topping … Drake: Meanwhile, with nine of the Hot 100's top 10, Drake breaks his own record for the most simultaneous top 10 Hot 100 hits. On the chart dated July 14, 2018, he claimed a prior-record seven top 10 spots, concurrent with the chart start of Scorpion, his last proper studio album before Certified Lover Boy.

J. Cole's 'The Off-Season' & The Other Albums With Five or More Top 10 Hot 100 Hits

A record nine Hot 100 top 10s from one album: In its debut chart week, Certified Lover Boy becomes the album with the most Hot 100 top 10s from a single set, thanks to Drake's nine debuts from the LP.

Certified Lover Boy eclipses four albums that each spun off seven Hot 100 top 10s: Michael Jackson's Thriller (1982-84); Bruce Springsteen's Born in the U.S.A. (1984-85); Janet Jackson's Rhythm Nation 1814 (1989-91); and Drake's own Scorpion (2018).

Certifying other Drake records: Not to be lost among Drake's historic week on the Hot 100 are other records that he either breaks or extends.

Drake pads his record total to 54 Hot 100 top 10s. Here is an updated look at the acts with the most top 10 Hot 100 hits (dating to the chart's Aug. 4, 1958, inception):

Additionally, Drake, from Toronto, passes Bieber (nine to eight) for the most No. 1s among Canadians over the Hot 100's history, a leaderboard that has been transformed in recent years, thanks to the pair and, in third place, The Weeknd (six).

JAY-Z's 22nd top 10: Among other acts upping their top 10 counts on the Hot 100 via features on new Drake entries, JAY-Z collects his 22nd top 10, as "Love All" debuts at No. 10. It's JAY-Z's first top 10 since his featured turn on wife Beyoncé's "Drunk in Love," which hit No. 2 in February 2014.

JAY-Z now boasts Hot 100 top 10s in the 1990s (dating to his first, as featured on Foxy Brown's No. 7-peaking "I'll Be" in 1997), 2000s, '10s and '20s. He joins Mariah Carey as the only acts to rank in the top 10 in each of the last four decades, with the pair sharing a No. 1: Carey's "Heartbreaker," on which he's featured, led for two weeks in October 1999, becoming his first of four No. 1s. (Carey reached the milestone thanks to the annual resurgence of "All I Want for Christmas Is You.")

Plus, here are updated Hot 100 top 10 totals for other acts thanks to their features on Drake's newest top 10s: Travis Scott (10); Lil Baby (eight); 21 Savage (five); Giveon, Lil Durk (two each); and Project Pat (one; after two prior Hot 100 entries in 2001 and 2008).

Drake extends R&B/hip-hop No. 1 record: "Way 2 Sexy" concurrently launches at No. 1 on on the multi-metric Hot R&B/Hip-Hop Songs chart (which uses the same methodology as the Hot 100), as Drake achieves his record-extending 23rd leader. (Aretha Franklin and Stevie Wonder share the second-most No. 1s in the chart's history, which also dates to 1958 as an all-encompassing genre songs survey, with 20 each.)

The track likewise debuts atop the multi-metric Hot Rap Songs chart, where it's also Drake's record-padding 23rd No. 1.

Meanwhile …: At No. 6 on the April 4, 1964-dated Hot 100 was Terry Stafford's "Suspicion," below the all-Beatles top five that week.

Similarly beneath Drake's top five domination this week, The Kid LAROI and Bieber's "Stay" ranks at No. 6, down from No. 2 after four weeks at No. 1 (Aug. 14-Sept. 4). The song (on Raymond Braun/Columbia Records/Def Jam) drew 76.3 million radio airplay audience impressions (up 7%) and 27.7 million streams (down 8%) and sold 12,100 downloads (down 9%) in the tracking week.

(In another achievement for Canada this week, at least one Canadian artist ranks in each of the top 10 positions on the latest Hot 100, with Drake at Nos. 1-5 and 7-10 and Bieber at No. 6. Also notably, no song in the tier has spent double-digit weeks on the chart: Drake debuts nine songs and "Stay" logs its ninth week on the chart.)

As for the week's top song in each metric measured for the Hot 100, "Way 2 Sexy" debuts atop the Streaming Songs chart, where it's Drake's record-extending 11th No. 1, Young Thug's second and Future's first; Ed Sheeran's "Bad Habits" leads Radio Songs for a second week (76.4 million, up 1%); and BTS' "Butter" tops Digital Song Sales for a 15th frame (84,500, down 41%).

On the Hot 100, "Bad Habits" drops from No. 3 to No. 13, after reaching No. 2, and "Butter" falls 1-17. A week earlier, the latter rebounded for its 10th week at No. 1, sparked by its remix featuring Megan Thee Stallion.

In the 63-year history of the Hot 100, this is just the second instance of an artist infusing 21 songs in the top 40 simultaneously, with both frames belonging to Drake. He first charted 21 titles on the Hot 100 dated July 14, 2018, concurrent with the chart arrival of his LP Scorpion (with 20 of the 21 entries that week from that set). The latest debuts extend Drake's record for the most total top 40 Hot 100 hits to 143.

This is also the fifth week in Drake's career in which he has banked at least 21 songs on the Hot 100 in a single week. He totaled a weekly-record 27 entries on the July 14, 2018, chart; 24 on July 21, 2018, and April 8, 2017; and 21 on April 15, 2017.


The 21 debuts up Drake's career total to a record-extending 258 Hot 100 appearances, dating to his first, the No. 2-peaking "Best I Ever Had," in 2009. The Glee Cast ranks second with 207 (all in 2009-13), followed by Lil Wayne (176), Taylor Swift (137) and Kanye West (133). Of Drake's 258 songs, 33 have appeared on the Hot 100 in 2021 alone, the second-most among all artists this year, after Lil Durk's 37.

Drake's nine top 10 debuts also extend his record for the most total top 10s to 54. Madonna is next with 38, followed by The Beatles (34), Rihanna (31) and Michael Jackson (30).

Plus, "Way 2 Sexy" earns Drake his fifth song to debut at the Hot 100's summit, tying him with Ariana Grande for the record.
