Lil Nas X Charts 11 Songs From 'Montero' on Billboard Hot 100, Led by Three in Top 10 By Xander Zellner 9/27/2021 Click to copy www.billboard.com/articles/business/chart-beat/9636984/lil-nas-x-11-songs-montero-billboard-hot-100/Two of the LP's tracks also debut on Hot Rock & Alternative Songs. Lil Nas X lands 11 songs, all from his new LP Montero, on the Billboard Hot 100 chart (dated Oct. 2). Three of the set's songs infuse the top 10, a new weekly best for Lil Nas X. Montero (Lil Nas X was born Montero Hill) launches at No. 2 on the Billboard 200 with 126,000 equivalent album units earned, according to MRC Data. It marks his second entry on the tally, following his 2019 EP 7, which also reached No. 2. Here's a recap of Lil Nas X's Hot 100 haul this week; all are debuts except where noted: Rank, Title No. 2, "Industry Baby," with Jack Harlow (matches peak first reached in August; up from No. 6) No. 9, "Montero (Call Me by Your Name)" (spent a week No. 1 upon its debut in April; up from No. 13) No. 10, "Thats What I Want" No. 42, "Scoop," feat. Miley Cyrus Before this week, Lil Nas X had charted seven total Hot 100 entries, dating to his breakthrough, record-breaking 19-week No. 1 "Old Town Road," featuring Billy Ray Cyrus, in 2019. With eight debuts, he more than doubles his career count to 15 charted Hot 100 songs. "Thats What I Want" earns Lil Nas X his fifth Hot 100 top 10, following "Old Town Road," "Panini" (No. 5, 2019), "Montero" and "Baby." This is Lil Nas X's first week with three simultaneous top 10s. Notably, Elton John's feature on "One of Me" marks the legendary singer-songwriter's 69th career Hot 100 hit, and second this year after his Dua Lipa collab "Cold Heart (PNAU Remix)," which rises 98-74 for a new high. Prior to the debut of "Cold Heart" on Aug. 28, John hadn't appeared on the Hot 100 since 2000. He charts his first concurrent Hot 100 entries since July 25, 1998, when his former 14-week No. 1 "Candle in the Wind 1997"/"Something About the Way You Look Tonight" placed alongside follow-up "Recover Your Soul." The Kid LAROI & Justin Bieber's 'Stay' Keeps Atop Global Charts, Lil Nas X & CKay Notch New Top 10s Lil Nas X also impacts other Billboard song charts. On Hot R&B/Hip-Hop Songs and Hot Rap Songs, "Baby" rebounds for a fifth week each at No. 1, while "Lost in the Citadel" and "Life After Salem" debut at Nos. 8 and 10, respectively, on Hot Rock & Alternative Songs. The tracks mark his third and fourth entries on the ranking, after "F9mily (You & Me)" (No. 6) and "Bring You Down," featuring Ryan Tedder (No. 7), both in 2019. (Tedder co-wrote the new set's "Thats What I Want.") All charts dated Oct. 2 will update tomorrow (Sept. 28) on Billboard.com.

Summer Walker Ties Taylor Swift for This Billboard Hot 100 Record By Xander Zellner 11/16/2021 Click to copy www.billboard.com/articles/business/chart-beat/9660426/summer-walker-ties-taylor-swift-billboard-hot-100-record/Walker's new LP "Still Over It" debuts at No. 1 on the Billboard 200. Summer Walker claims a share of Billboard Hot 100 history, as she floods the chart (dated Nov. 20) with 18 songs from her new album, Still Over It. The set soars in at No. 1 on the Billboard 200 with 166,000 equivalent album units earned, according to MRC Data, becoming her first leader on the list. It's also the first R&B album by a woman to top the chart since Solange's A Seat at the Table in October 2016. With 201.1 million streams for its songs earned in its first week, Still Over It also marks the biggest streaming week ever in the U.S. for an R&B album by a woman. On the Hot 100, Walker joins Taylor Swift as the only female artists in the chart's 63-year history to place as many as 18 songs on the survey simultaneously. Swift sent 18 songs onto the chart dated Sept. 9, 2019, as her album Lover debuted atop the Billboard 200. Drake holds the overall mark for the most concurrent single-week entries: 27, on July 14, 2018, as his Scorpion premiered atop the Billboard 200. ARTIST MENTIONED Summer Walker Leading Walker's Hot 100 haul is "No Love," with SZA, at No. 13. The track debuts with 20.2 million U.S. streams (good for a No. 2 launch on Streaming Songs), 562,000 in radio airplay audience and 1,400 downloads sold. It surpasses 2019's No. 16-peaking "Playing Games" as Walker's highest-charting Hot 100 hit. Notably, "Games" and Walker's debut Hot 100 entry, "Girls Need Love," with Drake (No. 37, also in 2019), marked her only prior top 40 titles. This week, she surpasses that output with three songs new to the region. Here's a recap of Walker's entries on the Nov. 20-dated Hot 100; all are debuts except where noted. Rank, Title: No. 13, "No Love," with SZA No. 25, "Bitter," with Cardi B No. 33, "Ex for a Reason," with JT (re-entry; new peak) No. 41, "Throw It Away" No. 44, "Reciprocate" No. 45, "Toxic," feat. Lil Durk No. 48, "Unloyal," with Ari Lennox No. 49, "Constant Bulls**t" No. 50, "You Don't Know Me" No. 52, "Insane" No. 54, "Circus" No. 56, "4th Baby Mama" No. 59, "Switch a N*gga Out" No. 60, "Closure" No. 68, "Session 33" No. 73, "Screwin," with Omarion No. 76, "Broken Promises" No. 77, "Dat Right There" with Pharrell Williams & The Neptunes As for Walker's collaborators on the songs above, Ari Lennox's credit on "Unloyal" earns the R&B singer her first career Hot 100 appearance. JT's billing on "Ex for a Reason" similarly brought the City Girls member her first solo song on the Hot 100. City Girls, comprising JT and Yung Miami, have charted five entries.

Taylor Swift’s ‘All Too Well (Taylor’s Version)’ Skyrockets to No. 1 on Hot 100 | Billboard News ×
Taylor Swift Charts 26 Songs From ‘Red (Taylor’s Version)’ on Billboard Hot 100 She rewrites the record that she shared for the most simultaneously charted hits among women.
By Xander Zellner
Taylor Swift sends a staggering 26 songs onto the Billboard Hot 100 (dated Nov. 27), all from her new LP, Red (Taylor’s Version).
Swift bests the mark for the most simultaneously charted Hot 100 entries among women (18), a mark that she held solely since September 2019 until a week ago, when Summer Walker tied it.
Over the Hot 100’s 63-year history, Swift’s latest haul trails only Drake’s 27 titles on the July 14, 2018, tally (after the release of Scorpion).
In all such cases, a new album provided the spark for the acts’ Hot 100 invasions. This week, Red (Taylor’s Version) launches at No. 1 on the Billboard 200 with 605,000 equivalent album units earned in its first week, ending Nov. 18, according to MRC Data, becoming her 10th leader on the list. The set also scores the biggest sales week for an album in 2021: 369,000.

“All Too Well (Taylor’s Version)” likewise premieres at No. 1 on the Hot 100. The track enters via two versions on the new LP: its 5-minute, 29-second and 10-minute, 13-second mixes, both of which are combined into one listing on Billboard‘s charts. The song earned a combined 54.4 million U.S. streams, 292,000 radio audience impressions and 57,800 downloads sold in its first week. Two versions of “State of Grace (Taylor’s Version)” from the new set are also combined into one Hot 100 listing.
Here’s a recap of Swift’s entries on the latest Nov. 27-dated Hot 100, all of which are debuts:
Rank, Title No. 1, “All Too Well (Taylor’s Version)” No. 18, “State of Grace (Taylor’s Version)” No. 22, “I Bet You Think About Me (Taylor’s Version) (From the Vault)” feat. Notably, with all the songs above new to the survey, the 26 arrivals set a new record for the most single-week debuts by an artist in the Hot 100’s history.
The debuts also bring Swift’s career total to 164 charted Hot 100 entries, extending her record among women. She keeps in fourth place overall, after Drake (259), the Glee Cast (207) and Lil Wayne (178).
Plus, Swift’s four new top 40 entries lift Swift’s career total to 85. She passed Elvis Presley (whose career predated the Hot 100 by two years) for the third-best sum, after Drake (144) and Lil Wayne (87).
Further, “All Too Well (Taylor’s Version)” earns Swift her eighth Hot 100 No. 1 and 30th top 10, the latter mark tying her with Michael Jackson for the fifth-most, after Drake (54), Madonna (38), The Beatles (34) and Rihanna (31).

Kendrick Lamar Charts All 18 Songs From ‘Mr. Morale & The Big Steppers’ on Billboard Hot 100 "N95" leads four tracks from the set in the Hot 100's top 10.
By Xander Zellner
05/23/2022
Kendrick Lamar charts all 18 songs from his new album Mr. Morale & The Big Steppers on the Billboard Hot 100 (dated May 28).
The set blasts in at No. 1 on the Billboard 200 with 295,500 equivalent album units earned, according to Luminate – the biggest weekly total for an album this year. The LP is Lamar’s fourth No. 1 on the chart, following 2015’s To Pimp a Butterfly, 2016’s untitled unmastered. and 2017’s DAMN.
“N95” leads Lamar’s Hot 100 haul, as it debuts at No. 3 with 37.2 million streams, 942,000 airplay audience impressions and 2,300 sold in the May 13-19 tracking week. Its streaming sum marks the fifth-largest weekly total tallied in 2022, after the opening frames for Jack Harlow’s “First Class” (54.6 million, April 23), Harry Styles’ “As It Was” (43.8 million, April 16) and Future’s “Wait for U,” featuring Drake and Tems (40.2 million; May 14, as well as the sixth week on the Hot 100, and second week at No. 1, for “We Don’t Talk About Bruno” from Encanto (37.6 million; Feb. 12).
Here’s a recap of Lamar’s 19 entries on the latest Hot 100. All are debuts except for stand-along single “The Heart Part 5,” which logs its second week on the list.
Hot 100 Rank, Title:
No. 3, “N95” No. 5, “Die Hard,” with Blxst & Amanda Reifer No. 7, “Silent Hill,” with Kodak Black No. 8, “United in Grief” No. 11, “Father Time,” feat. Sampha No. 13, “Rich Spirit” No. 16, “We Cry Together,” with Taylour Paige No. 19, “Worldwide Steppers” No. 20, “Count Me Out” No. 22, “Purple Hearts,” with Summer Walker & Ghostface Killah No. 23, “Savior,” with Baby Keem & Sam Dew No. 33, “Rich (Interlude)” No. 40, “Mr. Morale,” with Tanna Leone No. 41, “Crown” No. 47, “Auntie Diaries” No. 51, “Savior (Interlude)” No. 55, “Mirror” No. 59, “Mother I Sober,” feat. Beth Gibbons No. 77, “The Heart Part 5” (down from its No. 15 debut) Over the Hot 100’s 63-year history, Lamar lands the eighth week in which an act has charted nine or more titles in the top 20 simultaneously, and the first occurrence this year. It’s the most since Drake charted a one-week record 14 on the Sept. 18, 2021-dated Hot 100, concurrent with the debut of his album Certified Lover Boy. Drake also charted 12 songs in the July 14, 2018, chart’s top 20, while Olivia Rodrigo (June 5, 2021), J. Cole (May 29, 2021), Juice WRLD (July 25, 2020) and Post Malone (Sept. 21, 2019, May 12, 2018) have each charted nine at a time.
Even rarer, Lamar is just the third artist to chart as many as 13 songs in the Hot 100’s top 40 in a week. Drake charted 21 on both the Sept. 18, 2021, and July 14, 2018, surveys; Post Malone boasted 14 on the Sept. 21, 2019, and May 12, 2018, rankings; and Lil Uzi Vert notched 13 on the March 21, 2020, chart.
Lamar has now charted 69 career Hot 100 entries, including two No. 1s, 12 top 10s and 40 top 40 hits.
Meanwhile, Amanda Reifer, Taylour Paige, Sam Dew, Tanna Leone all make their first appearances on the Hot 100, as does Beth Gibbons as a soloist; the band Portishead, which Gibbons co-founded in 1991, took “Sour Times (Nobody Loves Me)” to No. 53 in 1995. The hit also rose to No. 5 on Alternative Airplay that year.

Harry Styles Charts All 13 Songs From ‘Harry’s House’ in Hot 100’s Top 30 "As It Was" leads by taking the No. 1 spot for a fourth week on the chart.
By Xander Zellner
05/31/2022
Harry Styles charts all 13 songs from his new album Harry’s House in the top 30 of the latest Billboard Hot 100 (dated June 4).
The set charges in at No. 1 on the Billboard 200 with 521,500 equivalent album units in the week ending May 26, according to Luminate – the biggest weekly total for an album this year, surpassing the opening frame of Kendrick Lamar’s Mr. Morale & the Big Steppers (295,500) a week earlier. Styles’ third solo LP logs the biggest week for an album since Adele’s 30 debuted with 839,000 units (Dec. 4, 2021).
Leading Styles’ haul on the Hot 100, four Harry’s House songs rank in the top 10, paced by “As It Was,” which rebounds for a fourth week at No. 1. He ups his career total to seven top 10s (one more than One Direction — in which he broke through — achieved, in 2012-15).
Here’s a recap of Styles’ 13 entries on the newest Hot 100. All are debuts except for “As It Was”:
Rank, Title
No. 1, “As It Was” (up from No. 2; fourth week at No. 1) No. 4, “Late Night Talking” No. 8, “Music for a Sushi Restaurant” No. 9, “Matilda” No. 13, “Daylight” No. 14, “Little Freak” No. 15, “Grapejuice” No. 21, “Satellite” No. 22, “Cinema” No. 24, “Daydreaming” No. 25, “Keep Driving” No. 29, “Love of My Life” No. 30, “Boyfriends” In the Hot 100’s 63-year history, Styles is just the second act to place at least 13 songs in the top 30 simultaneously. He joins Drake, who has achieved the feat twice, tallying 17 songs in the top 30 on the July 14, 2018, chart, concurrent with chart debut of parent set Scorpion, and a record 19 simultaneous top 30 hits on the Sept. 18, 2021, survey, as Certified Lover Boy launched atop the Billboard 200.
By adding 12, Styles swells his career solo total to 17 top 40 Hot 100 hits. (One Direction has earned 13.)

Midnights opens as Swift’s 11th No. 1 on the Billboard 200 albums chart, as it soars in with 1.578 million equivalent album units earned in the Oct. 21-27 tracking week, according to Luminate. The set sports the largest one-week total since the debut week of Adele’s 25 (3.482 million) on the chart dated Dec. 12, 2015.

Midnights is already the top-selling album of 2022, with 1.140 million copies sold in its first week. It also shatters the record for the biggest vinyl week – 575,000 copies sold on vinyl – since Luminate began tracking vinyl sales in 1991.
Here’s a recap of where all 20 songs from Midnights – 13 from the set’s original version and seven more from its “3am Edition” – launch on the Hot 100:
Rank, Title: No. 1, “Anti-Hero” No. 2, “Lavender Haze” No. 3, “Maroon” No. 4, “Snow on the Beach,” feat. With 20 debuts, Swift ups her career total to 188 charted Hot 100 songs, passing Lil Wayne for the third-most, after Drake (278) and the Glee Cast (207).
Swift also brings her career totals to 24 top five Hot 100 hits (tying Janet Jackson for the fifth-most); 40 top 10s (the second-most after Drake’s 59); 67 top 20 hits (also the second-most after Drake’s 100); and 104 top 40 hits (likewise the second-most after Drake’s 158).
This week marks the 15th frame in which an artist has landed at least 20 songs on the Hot 100, and Swift’s second. Here’s a look at every such occurrence:
Most Concurrent Hot 100-Charting Songs: 27, Drake, July 14, 2018 26, Taylor Swift, Nov. 27, 2021 25, Lil Baby, Oct. 29, 2022 24, Drake, July 21, 2018 24, Drake, April 8, 2017 23, Kanye West, Sept. 11, 2021 22, Bad Bunny, May 21, 2022 22, Lil Uzi Vert, March 28, 2020 22, Lil Wayne, Oct. 13, 2018 21, Drake, Sept. 18, 2021 21, Drake, April 15, 2017 20, Taylor Swift, Nov. 5, 2022 20, Bad Bunny, May 28, 2022 20, Lil Uzi Vert, March 21, 2020 20, Drake, May 21, 2016
Further, thanks to Midnights and “Anti-Hero,” Swift is now the first artist to debut atop the Billboard 200 and Hot 100 simultaneously on four separate occasions. She became the first to achieve such a double-up with Folklore and “Cardigan” in August 2020 and repeated the feat with Evermore and “Willow” in December 2020 and Red (Taylor’s Version) and “All Too Well (Taylor’s Version)” in November 2021.

SZA debuts a whopping 20 songs from her sophomore LP SOS, on the Billboard Hot 100 chart (dated Dec. 24), including two in the top 10. The set launches at No. 1 on the Billboard 200 albums chart, marking her first leader and sparking her first week atop the Billboard Artist 100 ranking.
SOS arrives at No. 1 on the Billboard 200 with 318,000 equivalent album units earned, according to Luminate. That’s the seventh-largest one-week total of the year and the second-biggest among R&B albums, after only the first week of Beyonce’s Renaissance (332,000, Aug. 13).
SZA scores her third Billboard 200 entry, after her debut LP Ctrl reached No. 3 in 2017 and EP Z peaked at No. 39 in 2014.
Of the 23 tracks on SOS, 20 debut on the Hot 100, including two in the top 10: “Kill Bill” (No. 3) and “Nobody Gets Me” (No. 10). Meanwhile “Shirt” jumps from No. 62 to No. 18 after reaching No. 11 in November. The two other songs on the album, “I Hate U” and “Good Days,” peaked at Nos. 7 and 9, respectively, in 2021.
Here’s a recap of SZA’s songs on the latest Hot 100 (all of which are debuts except where noted):
Hot 100 Rank, Title
No. 3, “Kill Bill” No. 10, “Nobody Gets Me” No. 12, “Blind” No. 18, “Shirt” (up from No. 62; reached No. 11 in November) No. 21, “Love Language” No. 24, “Seek & Destroy” No. 29, “Snooze” No. 30, “Used,” feat. Ol’ Dirty Bastard “Kill Bill” and “Nobody Gets Me” earn SZA her sixth and seventh Hot 100 top 10s. She also ups her career totals to 23 top 40 hits and 37 overall entries. She first charted in July 2017 with “Love Galore,” featuring Travis Scott (No. 32 peak).
Among the new album’s featured artists, Phoebe Bridgers notches her first top 40 Hot 100 hit, after reaching No. 43 in 2021 as featured on Taylor Swift’s “Nothing New (Taylor’s Version) (From the Vault)” and No. 57 in 2020 with Maggie Rogers on their cover of Goo Goo Dolls’ “Iris.” Plus, Ol’ Dirty Bastard returns to the Hot 100 for the first time since 2004, adding his eighth solo entry in a history on the chart (he earned two additional chart hits as a member of Wu Tang Clan — “Method Man” in 1993 and “C.R.E.A.M. (Cash Rules Everything Around Me)” in 1994).
Meanwhile, SOS spurs SZA’s 42-1 vault on the Artist 100, as she rules as the top musical act in the U.S. for the first time. Also contributing to her reign is Ctrl, which rises 35-28 on the Billboard 200 (23,000 units, up 17%). With 288 weeks to-date, it’s the second-longest-charting R&B album by a woman in the list’s history, after Rihanna’s ANTI (346 weeks and counting).

Morgan Wallen Charts Single-Week Record 36 Songs on Hot 100 – Every Track From ‘One Thing at a Time’ Wallen surpasses Drake's 27 songs on the July 14, 2018 chart.
By Gary Trust

Morgan Wallen rewrites the record for the most songs simultaneously charted on the Billboard Hot 100, as he sends 36 songs onto the survey (dated March 18, 2023) – the entirety of his new album, One Thing at a Time.
Of those 36 songs, 27 are debuts, also a new one-week record.
Released March 3, the set launches as Wallen’s second No. 1 on the Billboard 200 chart, with the largest streaming week ever for a country album, as well as the biggest week by equivalent album units for any album, among all genres, in 2023.
Wallen soars past the previous high set when Drake charted 27 songs on the July 14, 2018-dated Hot 100. Taylor Swift now ranks third with 26 entries on the Nov. 27, 2021-dated chart. As with Wallen, Drake and Swift parlayed big Billboard 200 debuts into their hefty weeks on the Hot 100 in those frames, Drake thanks to Scorpion and Swift by way of Red (Taylor’s Version).
As previously reported, “Last Night” becomes Wallen’s first No. 1 on the Hot 100. He also claims five of the chart’s top 10 – becoming the first core country act to claim half the top 10 in a single week, as well as only the sixth act overall ever to achieve the feat. Three reach the region for the first time: “Thought You Should Know,” up 13-7; “Thinkin’ Bout Me,” new at No. 9; and the set’s title track, which charges 51-10. They join “Last Night” and “You Proof,” Wallen’s former top five hit which rebounds 21-8.
Here’s a recap of Wallen’s historic haul of 36 entries on the latest Hot 100. All are debuts except where noted:
No. 1, “Last Night” (5-1, first week at No. 1) No. 7, “Thought You Should Know” (13-7, first week in top 10) No. 8, “You Proof” (21-8, after reaching No. 5 in October) No. 9, “Thinkin’ Bout Me” No. 10, “One Thing at a Time” (51-10, first week in top 10) No. 11, “Ain’t That Some” No. 14, “Everything I Love” (93-14, new high) No. 15, “Man Made a Bar” (feat. Eric Church) No. 18, “I Wrote the Book” (64-18, new high) No. 27, “’98 Braves” No. 29, “Devil Don’t Know” No. 30, “Sunrise” No. 32, “Born With a Beer in My Hand” No. 35, “Whiskey Friends” No. 38, “Tennessee Numbers” No. 40, “Cowgirls” (feat. ERNEST) No. 41, “Hope That’s True” No. 43, “Dying Man” No. 44, “Keith Whitley” No. 47, “In the Bible” (feat. HARDY) No. 48, “Neon Star (Country Boy Lullaby)” No. 51, “Me + All Your Reasons” No. 52, “I Deserve a Drink” No. 53, “F150-50” No. 54, “Tennessee Fan” (re-entry, after reaching No. 49 in December) No. 56, “Single Than She Was” No. 59, “Wine Into Water” No. 61, “Days That End in Why” (re-entry, after reaching No. 57 in December) No. 63, “180 (Lifestyle)” No. 65, “Last Drive Down Main” No. 69, “Good Girl Gone Missin’ ” No. 71, “Me to Me” No. 72, “Money On Me” No. 75, “Had It” No. 76, “Outlook” No. 77, “Don’t Think Jesus” (re-entry, after debuting at its No. 7 high last April)
With 27 debuts, Wallen ups his career count of Hot 100 hits from 35 to 62. He first reached the chart nearly five years ago, on the list dated April 7, 2018, with “Up Down,” featuring Florida Georgia Line.
Additionally, Wallen has charted the most songs on the Hot 100 so far in 2023, vaulting from nine to 38 entries in that span, more than double the sum of runner-up SZA, with 16. Karol G ranks third with 11.
Among Wallen’s 36 songs on the new Hot 100, “’98 Braves” shouts out Major League Baseball’s Atlanta Braves. Speaking of records, the 1998 team won 106 regular-season games, a single-season best over the franchise’s century-and-a-half history, including its eras as the Milwaukee and Boston Braves. It didn’t, however, win the World Series that year. Sings Morgan in the bittersweet song, “Just like that season, girl, you and me didn’t end with a ring on a hand.”
Plus, “Keith Whitley” brings the late country star’s name to the Hot 100. Whitley logged 19 entries on the Hot Country Songs chart in 1984-95, including five No. 1s, all tallied consecutively in 1988-90, among 10 top 10s. The song begins with the lyrics, “I’m no stranger to the rain” – the title of Whitley’s third Hot Country Songs No. 1, in 1989. Whitley is also referenced in Wallen’s “Whiskey Friends.

Lil Durk Charts 15 Songs on Hot 100 from New LP ‘Almost Healed’ It's the third time that he's charted at least 15 songs in a single week.
By Xander Zellner
06/6/2023
Lil Durk has a big week on Billboard’s charts, as he lands 15 songs on the Billboard Hot 100 (dated June 10) from his new album, Almost Healed.
The set, released May 26 via Alamo Records, debuts at No. 1 on the Top R&B/Hip-Hop Albums chart and No. 3 on the Billboard 200 with 125,000 equivalent album units earned in its opening week (May 26-June 1), according to Luminate. It’s his sixth top 10 album on the Billboard 200, following Love Songs 4 the Streets 2 (No. 4 peak, 2019), Just Cause Y’all Waited 2 (No. 2, 2020), The Voice (No. 2, 2020), The Voice of the Heroes, with Lil Baby (No. 1, 2021), and 7220 (No. 1, 2022).
Of Lil Durk’s 15 entries on the latest Hot 100, three land in the top 40, led by the album’s lead single “All My Life,” featuring J. Cole, at No. 4, up from No. 7, after it debuted at its No. 2 high two weeks earlier. Here’s a recap.
Rank, Title: No. 4, “All My Life,” feat. J. Cole No. 22, “Stand by Me,” feat. Morgan Wallen No. 35, “Pelle Coat” No. 41, “War Bout It,” feat. 21 Savage No. 59, “Never Imagined,” feat. Future No. 62, “Never Again” No. 67, “Big Dawg,” with Chief Wuk No. 68, “Cross the Globe,” feat. Juice WRLD No. 72, “Put Em on Ice” No. 73, “300 Urus” No. 74, “Sad Songs” No. 76, “Grandson,” feat. Kodak Black No. 82, “Before Fajr” No. 83, “B12” No. 86, “You Got Em”
Lil Durk charts at least 15 songs on the Hot 100 in a single week for a third time in his career. On the June 19, 2021, chart, he contributed 19 songs, the bulk from The Voice of the Heroes, in its debut chart week. On the March 26, 2022, tally, he posted 17 songs on the Hot 100, largely from 7220, as the set likewise made its chart start.
With 14 debuts, Lil Durk ups his career total to 87 Hot 100 entries. Of those, 15 have charted in 2023, the third-most among all acts this year, after only Morgan Wallen (39) and SZA (16).
Meanwhile, thanks to his guest appearance on “Big Dawg,” Chief Wuk scores his first appearance on the Hot 100. As for the other featured artists on Lil Durk’s new Hot 100 hits, Future increases his total to 162 entries, the fifth-best total in the chart’s history; 21 Savage pushes his total to 80; the late Juice WRLD’s count rises to 78; Wallen now has 63 entries – as he extends his record for the most among core male country acts; and Kodak Black now boasts 41.

Lil Uzi Vert Debuts 18 Songs on Hot 100 From New Album ‘Pink Tape,’ Reaches Historic Milestone The rapper is the 14th artist in history to tally at least 100 career Hot 100 hits.
By Xander Zellner
07/10/2023
Lil Uzi Vert reaches rarified heights on the latest Billboard Hot 100 (dated July 15), as they become just the 14th artist in the chart’s nearly 65-year history to log 100 career entries on the survey.
The rapper debuts 18 songs on the Hot 100 from their new LP Pink Tape, bringing their career total to 106, the 11th-most in the chart’s archives. The album debuts at No. 1 on the Billboard 200 with 167,000 equivalent album units earned in its opening week (June 30-July 6), according to Luminate. It earns Uzi their third Billboard 200 leader, after 2017’s Luv Is Rage 2 and 2020’s Eternal Atake.
lso becomes the first rap album to hit No. 1 on the Billboard 200 in 2023, ending a rare seven-month drought for the genre.
Here’s a look at all of Lil Uzi Vert’s entries on the July 15 Hot 100 (all of which are debuts).
Lil Uzi Vert on the July 15-Dated Hot 100 No. 11, “Flooded the Face” No. 20, “Endless Fashion,” feat. Nicki Minaj No. 25, “Suicide Doors” No. 31, “Aye,” feat. Travis Scott No. 49, “I Gotta” No. 51, “Spin Again” No. 52, “Crush Em” No. 53, “X2” No. 60, “Pluto to Mars” No. 65, “Mama, I’m Sorry” No. 67, “Amped” No. 70, “Patience,” feat. Don Toliver No. 71, “Nakamura” No. 76, “All Alone” No. 78, “Died and Came Back” No. 81, “Werewolf,” feat. Bring Me the Horizon No. 92, “Zoom” No. 93, “That Fiya”
(One additional track from the album, “Just Wanna Rock,” previously reached No. 10 on the chart in February.)
Lil Uzi Vert has now charted 22 songs on the Hot 100 in 2023, the second-most among all acts, after Morgan Wallen (39). Lil Uzi Vert, notably, holds the all-time record for the most Hot 100-charting songs in a calendar year among soloists: 46, in 2020. Among all acts, only the ensemble Glee Cast has a higher one-year sum, with 80 total entries in 2010.
Here’s an updated breakdown of every act that has charted 100 or more songs on the Hot 100, which began on Aug. 4, 1958.
Most Career Billboard Hot 100 Hits: 296, Drake 207, Glee Cast 190, Taylor Swift 185, Lil Wayne 165, Future 141, Kanye West 136, Lil Baby 132, Nicki Minaj 114, Chris Brown 109, Elvis Presley 106, Lil Uzi Vert 105, Justin Bieber 105, Jay-Z 103, YoungBoy Never Broke Again
Of Uzi’s 106 songs to chart on the Hot 100, 33 have reached the top 40, seven have climbed to the top 10 and one has hit No. 1: Migos’ “Bad and Boujee,” on which they’re featured, in 2017.
Before Lil Uzi Vert, the last artist to join the 100 Hot 100 entries club was YoungBoy Never Broke Again, who reached the milestone in May, and, fittingly, became the youngest artist to achieve the feat at age 23.
Elvis Presley, whose career predates the Hot 100’s 1958 launch, became the first artist to reach 100 total hits on the survey. He scored his 100th in May 1975 with “T-R-O-U-B-L-E,” which rose to No. 35 that June.
As for who might be next in line to join such elite company after Lil Uzi Vert: Eminem is currently at 95 career Hot 100-charting songs, followed by The Weeknd (94), Travis Scott (92), James Brown (91), Young Thug (91), Lil Durk (87), 21 Savage (83) and Beyoncé (81).
While it’s rare for artists to chart triple-digit entries on the Hot 100, it’s become a more regular occurrence since the ranking began including streaming figures (which make up the chart’s data mix with radio airplay and sales). As such, certain artists have been able to chart a high number of songs on the Hot 100 in recent years after releasing high-profile albums. The model contrasts with prior decades, when acts generally promoted one single at a time in the physical-only marketplace and on radio. That shift in consumption helps explain why artists have been able to chart many songs over short spans in recent years.

All 16 Songs From Zach Bryan’s New LP Debut in Hot 100’s Top 50, Led by No. 1 ‘I Remember Everything’ Meanwhile, a whopping 20 country songs place in the chart's top 40 for the first time. www.billboard.com/music/chart-beat/zach-bryan-new-album-all-songs-hot-100-top-50-1235406102/
By Xander Zellner 09/5/2023 Zach Bryan has a monstrous week on the Billboard Hot 100 chart (dated Sept. 9). After releasing his new self-titled album Aug. 25, the set soars in at No. 1 on the Billboard 200, and all 16 songs from the album debut on the Hot 100, led by “I Remember Everything” featuring Kacey Musgraves, which likewise launches at No. 1. The first Hot 100 leader for both Bryan and Musgraves raked in 33.7 million U.S. streams, 263,000 radio airplay audience impressions (while not being promoted as an official single) and 10,000 paid downloads in its opening week, according to Luminate. It opens as the most streamed song of the week, starting at No. 1 on the Streaming Songs chart. The song also becomes the fourth country hit to reach No. 1 on the Hot 100 in 2023. (Country songs are defined as those that have hit or are eligible for Billboard’s Hot Country Songs chart.) The only year, dating to the Hot 100’s 1958 inception, with more country No. 1s was 1975, when five topped the chart: B.J. Thomas’ “(Hey Won’t You Play) Another Somebody Done Somebody Wrong Song”; Freddy Fender’s “Before the Next Teardrop Falls”; John Denver’s “Thank God I’m a Country Boy”; Glen Campbell’s “Rhinestone Cowboy”; and Denver’s “I’m Sorry.” “I Remember Everything” also becomes the first song to hit No. 1 on the Hot 100, Hot Country Songs and Hot Rock & Alternative Songs charts (the lattermost of which began in 2009). All 16 songs from Zach Bryan debut in the top 50 of the Hot 100, including five in the top 20 and 13 in the top 40. Here’s a recap (all of which are new entries except for two previously-charting songs, as noted below). Zach Bryan on the Sept. 9-dated Hot 100: No. 1, “I Remember Everything,” feat. Kacey Musgraves No. 14, “Hey Driver,” feat. The War and Treaty No. 17, “Spotless,” feat. The Lumineers No. 18, “East Side of Sorrow” No. 20, “Tourniquet” No. 22, “Overtime” No. 23, “Summertime’s Close” No. 24, “Fear and Friday’s” No. 29, “Ticking” No. 31, “El Dorado” No. 37, “Holy Roller,” feat. Sierra Ferrell No. 38, “Smaller Acts” No. 39, “Fear and Friday’s (Poem)” No. 41, “Jake’s Piano – Long Island” No. 44, “Tradesman” No. 47, “Oklahoman Son” No. 76, “Dawns,” feat. Maggie Rogers (holds in place; peaked at No. 42 in February) No. 88, “Oklahoma Smoke Show” (down from its No. 81 peak) Bryan is just the second country act to land at least five songs in the Hot 100’s top 20 simultaneously, after Morgan Wallen, who has placed five in the top 20 twice (nine on the March 18 ranking and five on March 25). Overall, Drake holds the record for the most concurrent top 20 entries, with 15 songs in the top 20 in a single week (Nov. 19, 2022). Bryan is also just the second country act to chart at least 13 Hot 100 hits in the top 40 in a single week, after Wallen (16; March 18). The only other artists to amass at least 13 in the top 40 simultaneously are Drake (a record 21, twice), Taylor Swift, Travis Scott, Post Malone, 21 Savage, Harry Styles, Kendrick Lamar and Lil Uzi Vert. Further, with 18 total songs on the Hot 100, Bryan is just the second country act to log that many songs on the chart in a single frame, after Wallen, who holds the record among all acts: 36, concurrent with the chart debut of his album One Thing at a Time in March. Before this week, Bryan had sent four songs onto the Hot 100, starting in May 2022: his breakthrough hit “Something in the Orange” (No. 10 peak; it made history as the longest-charting country song – 66 weeks – by a male artist); “Dawns,” featuring Maggie Rogers (No. 42); “Oklahoma Smoke Show” (No. 81); and “Burn, Burn, Burn” (No. 99). Meanwhile, thanks to their featured appearances on Zach Bryan, husband-and-wife duo The War and Treaty and Sierra Ferrell each visit the Hot 100 for the first time. (The War and Treaty’s Tanya Trotter makes a notable return: She tallied one solo entry, “Through the Rain” in 1994, under her maiden name, Tanya Blount.) The latest Hot 100 also marks another milestone for country, in what has been an especially prominent year for the genre, as 20 country songs place in Hot 100’s top 40 for the first time. Plus, 25 country songs rank in the top 50, matching the record initially established on the March 18 chart, when Wallen’s One Thing at a Time debuted. All 12 Songs From Olivia Rodrigo’s ‘Guts’ Chart in Hot 100’s Top 40, Led by No. 1 ‘Vampire’
Rodrigo is the first artist to chart all songs from two career-opening albums in the Hot 100's top 40.
By Xander Zellner
09/18/2023After releasing her sophomore album Guts Sept. 8, the LP soars in at No. 1 on the Billboard 200 (dated Sept. 23), while all 12 songs from the set chart in the Billboard Hot 100’s top 40, led by lead single “Vampire” at No. 1. As all 11 tracks from Rodrigo’s 2021 debut set Sour hit the Hot 100’s top 40 that year, she becomes the first artist to chart all songs from two career-opening albums in the Hot 100’s top 40. “Vampire” rebounds for a second week atop the Hot 100, after debuting at the summit 10 weeks earlier, with 55.8 million radio airplay audience impressions, 22.8 million U.S. streams (up 82%) and 4,000 downloads sold (up 89%) in the Sept. 8-14 tracking week, according to Luminate. In July, the song arrived as Rodrigo’s third No. 1 (all No. 1 debuts), following “Drivers License” and “Good 4 U” in 2021. Rodrigo places one additional song in the Hot 100’s top 10, as second Guts single “Bad Idea Right?” vaults 26-7, reaching a new peak. Here’s a recap of Rodrigo’s 12 titles on the latest Hot 100 (all of which are debuts except where noted): Olivia Rodrigo on the Sept. 23-dated Hot 100: No. 1, “Vampire” (up 9-1; second week at No. 1) No. 7, “Bad Idea Right?” (up 26-7; new high) No. 11, “Get Him Back!” No. 13, “All-American Bitch” No. 16, “The Grudge” No. 19, “Making the Bed” No. 20, “Logical” No. 23, “Lacy” No. 24, “Ballad of a Homeschooled Girl” No. 25, “Love Is Embarrassing” No. 30, “Pretty Isn’t Pretty” No. 39, “Teenage Dream” Rodrigo is just the third female artist to place 12 songs in the Hot 100’s top 40 simultaneously, after Taylor Swift and SZA. Swift tallied a personal-best 18 songs in the top 40 on Nov. 5, 2022, when her album Midnights debuted atop the Billboard 200. SZA logged 12 songs in the top 40 on Dec. 24, 2022, concurrent with the arrival of her LP SOS. Drake holds the overall record for the most concurrent top 40 entries, 21, on both the July 14, 2018, and Sept. 18, 2021 charts, concurrent with the arrivals of his albums Scorpion and Certified Lover Boy, respectively. Rodrigo charted all 11 songs from Sour in the Hot 100’s top 40 the week that the album launched atop the Billboard 200 (June 5, 2021). Of her 24 career songs to chart on the Hot 100, all have reached the top 40 except for her first entry, “All I Want.” The song, from High School Musical: The Musical: The Series, peaked at No. 90 in 2020.

Drake has yet another massive week on Billboard’s charts (dated Oct. 21), as all 23 songs from his new studio album For All the Dogs land in the top 50 of the Billboard Hot 100, led by “First Person Shooter” featuring J. Cole new at No. 1.
The album debuts at No. 1 on the Billboard 200 with 402,000 equivalent album units earned in its opening week, according to Luminate. That’s the fourth-biggest week of the year, after the first frames of Taylor Swift’s Speak Now (Taylor’s Version) (716,000 units), Morgan Wallen’s One Thing at at Time (501,000) and Travis Scott’s Utopia (496,000).
For All the Dogs tallied 514 million on-demand official streams for its tracks in its opening week, the fourth-highest single-week sum ever for an album. The biggest streaming weeks were achieved by the first weeks of Drake’s Scorpion (745.9 million, 2018) and Certified Lover Boy (743.7 million, 2021) and Swift’s Midnights (549.3 million, 2022).
All 23 songs from the new album land on the latest Hot 100. Of those, 22 debut, while “Slime You Out” featuring SZA ranks at No. 6 after debuting at No. 1 three weeks ago.
“First Person Shooter” featuring J. Cole debuts as Drake’s 13th Hot 100 leader, and Cole’s first. Now with 13 No. 1s, Drake ties Michael Jackson for the most among solo males.
Here’s a recap of every Drake song on the latest Hot 100, all of which are debuts except where noted. He charts 24 songs overall, including one in a featured role.

The set debuts at No. 1 on the Billboard 200, her 13th leader, with 1.653 million equivalent album units earned in its opening week (Oct. 27-Nov. 2), according to Luminate.
