I really like this song and Luke a lot! I haven’t been disappointed once by his output. I hope his next lead single is as good as his first 5 singles!

Also while Billboard highlighted the fact that Luke Combs got #1 on four country charts (Hot Country Songs/Airplay/Streaming/Sales), I think it is entirely possible that he would return to top on album chart next week while maintaining #1 everything else, so he would be the second person other than Kane Brown to do so. Called it. It also tops Country Indicator this week so technically he is #1 on every possible chart.

That is crazy.

Does anyone notice how in the bridge, it sounds like Luke sings "unbeerlievable" instead of "unbelievable"? Lol.

Seeing since Brand New Man isn't doing much, I would not mind Houston, We Got A Problem released as a sixth single. I do believe Beautiful Crazy will have a slow descent like She Got The Best Of Me did.

Blocks Luke Bryan 1st, Jordan Davis 2nd, Midland or Chris Stapleton 3rd, Michael Ray possibly 4th, then ding ding Old Dominion or Brett Young dethrones him finally. This is how I could possibly see it going when it’s all said and done. Unless they really want to push Michael Ray to the top. I think Midland as well as Stapleton have given up and even if they do push will they be able to catch him. I think this is Modland’s push week anyways isn’t it?

I know Midland is #3 on the rolling MediaBase chart. However, they are 13 million AIs behind Luke Combs in Billboard and won't be able to make that up.

This is Midland's push week so they won't be a threat next week (in fact, I think they'll fall pretty hard because of how old the song is). There were also ads calling for Max Spins for "Beautiful Crazy" this week, but I'm sure they'll try to keep it steady as long as they can, especially being 13 million AI ahead of Stapleton and 19 and 20 million ahead of Riley and Michael Ray, respectively.
I think the wild card in this situation is "Millionaire". Although it's very old, it's currently getting very nice conversions and is very comfortably ahead of Riley and Michael. It's also been a strong seller from the start and has pretty good callout (very similar to "Beautiful Crazy" actually) which gives radio incentive to keep playing it for now.

Midland may make #1 at MediaBase but will fall short at Billboard. Can they match their peak position of Drinkin' Problem? Time will tell.

I hope Midland and Stapleton can both grab the Mediabase #1 so that Beautiful Crazy can spend like 6 weeks at #1 on billboard but like only 2 weeks on Mediabase to show how manipulatable that chart is haha

Midland won’t grab the #1 on Mediabase. Their push week was planned weeks ago. It’ll likely peak at #2 by Sunday.
Right now, I’m expecting “Beautiful Crazy” to grab four weeks (five is possible) at Billboard and two atop Mediabase by the time Stapleton likely reaches #1 on Mediabase on March 24th.

While “Beautiful Crazy” continues it’s crazy dominance, “Houston, We Got A Problem” did get an add this week for 4 total stations on the Mediabase Adds Report. I’m not saying, I’m just saying...

HWGAP charts at #60 on BB What was the last album tracks to chart? Was it Thomas Rhett's?

Could the 4th week at #1 on Billboard be his last week? Chris Stapleton had max spin ads out this week. Will he block Stapleton or will Stapleton become the new #1? (Which will be only his 2nd #1 if he does knock Combs out of the top spot.)

It is possible, but Luke Combs had such a huge lead on Chris Stapleton and while Chris Stapleton is going for max spins, the gains don't seem quite strong enough to overthrow Luke Combs from the top imo.

Combs also had an increase back up (+18) in spins a little today back to 8,806 spins and yes is falling in audience but not fast enough for Stapleton to catch him for Billboard. But for Mediabase, this is still a possibility for Stapleton to catch Combs as Stapleton is up +173 in spins today but still a little under 1,000 spins from catching him and we still have Thursday's, Friday's Saturday's, and Sunday's update to get through. That is still a plenty amount of time for Stapleton to catch him on Mediabase but it will be close. I see Combs having a 5th week at #1 for Billboard Country Airplay.

We have not had a five week #1 since Need You Now by Lady Antebellum.

We have not had a five week #1 since Need You Now by Lady Antebellum. Well to rephrase this, we haven't had a just 5 week #1 since "Need You Now" by Lady Antebellum, but I think we've had at least one #1 go for more than 5 weeks in "Die A Happy Man" by Thomas Rhett as that went for #1 for 6 weeks. I will say this, if Luke Combs gets the 5th week pencil him in for a 6th week since Riley Green and Brett Young are just way too far behind to catch up within the next two weeks.

Hm, they’re still running Max Spins ads on Country Aircheck Today, right next to the ads for “Millionaire”. Not giving up quite yet, despite moderate losses this week.

I hope this can get another 2 weeks on top and blocks Stapleton and Riley Green. It's frustrating that this massive hit has already had a few weeks at #1 on MB stolen from it due to chart manipulation, but I hope that ceases to continue for the rest of its run.

I don’t remember what thread it was in but someone asked what or how many songs had multiple weeks at the top this decade. I’ll be posting every song to have 5 weeks at #1 or more in Billboard Country #1 singles thread soon. Possibly either tomorrow afternoon/evening or Tuesday sometime. Luke seems like he might have his first single to make that list with this one. Btw the record for most weeks at #1 is 21 weeks and 3 different artists share that record and Florida Georgia Line is not one of them.

I am expecting the C.M.A. to nominate BOTH She Got The Best Of Me and Beautiful Crazy for Song AND Single of the Year. I had already made a prediction that they will name Luke Combs Male Vocalist of the Year.

^^^^That accomplishment should make it a very formidable candidate to be the #1 single of the decade @ Billboard. It also stands to reason that another five week charttopper (Need You Now), will easily wind up as the most-played single of this decade on US radio, succeeding the previous decade's airplay champion 'Something Like That'.
We'll find out for certain in December.
