Ariana Grande has just released the second single to her album Thank U,Next:7 Ringz. Expected to be huge.
Could it debut in the top ten or even be her second number one?
Sunflower and Without Me continue to make big gains, the songs are setting themselves up well for the year end chart.
Offical top ten filler Zeze and Dip Too Hard are beginning to die, will they finally be replaced by Wake Up In The Sky this week?

Good lord I don't wanna be that guy but... isn't it too early for this thread? No tracking week begins now and people were talking about 7 Ringz in the other thread when all 7 Ringz discussion belongs here as the song doesn't affect the week of 1/26/19 at all

I dont want to question amymore the power of Ariana. Imo she can make a hot shot debut no.1 again if the streaming goes wild. Let's just see in the next few days.

7 Rings will be huge on streaming, video will debut with high numbers and has good replay value. If it has a radio deal than #1 debut on lock. If not, then it will get their organically.

Aside from "7 Rings", the February 2 chart week about to hold the first album bomb of the year, with Future's songs from the album "The Wizrd" is gonna enter the Billboard Hot 100.

What i worry about us that she have 4 songs on radio that are currently playing. GIAW, Breathin, TUN and this. I never see an artiat having this 4 songs playin on radio. It may affect her positively and negatively. I dunno but goodluck to Ari. The song is good tho.

I mean Drake had the top three songs on Ubran for like a month, its the streaming era and Ari needs to take risks. It could be a massive plus for her and we could be seeing a shift were multiple artists have multiple songs playing at radio at once.

I don't wanna be that other guy, but isn't it too early to talk about the damn year-end chart? Never to early to think about the future, most of the songs in the top five of the year end chart are big in January. Pretty sure the 2/2/2018 chart (whatever was the date for the first February) had the entire top four in the 2018 year end.

Just witnessed 7 Rings go from #53 to #93 on AM. We love that.

I don't wanna be that other guy, but isn't it too early to talk about the damn year-end chart? It is January 18th, not too long ago people were taking down the Christmas trees from the prior year end. So yes, the next year end chart that won't be released for 11 months is still a ways off and too early to get excited about it, in my opinion Although, I get that others already were looking at 2019 year-end the day the 2018 year end came out

I'm not confident 7 Rings is getting number one tbh. It has all the pieces to be a number one debut. But I just don't think its remotely memorable or good in general. It sounds like the most generic song ever

Regardless of the sound of the song, the stats speak differently.

The only stats we have are the YouTube views. I'm gonna withhold my judgment til we see day 1 spotify streams. If it's under 1.5, I'm gonna go with a top 3 debut

It's too early for this thread, so this will be locked temporarily until there's some information from Billboard regarding this week ending and/or the Hot 100 for the 01/26 week ending is revealed next week. In the meantime, please continue the discussion in the Billboard Hot 100: 01/26/2019 thread.

Made another thread since the other thread was locked. Anyways a big week ahead.
7 rings is expected to debut atop the chart this week as it currently has a large advantage in both streams and sales as well as in radio. Without Me continues to put a dent in airplay as it steadily grows each day, so a return back to #2 seems likely. Sunflower should fall to #3 as it continues to lag airplay and drop in sales.

We have 3 full days of data + most of Monday now, so it makes sense to have a thread for this chart. Everyone over on 1/26 thread is discussing 7 rings anyway

J. Cole drops a new single on Wednesday, it’ll be interesting to see how that pans out Knowing J. Cole, it probably won't be a radio-friendly single and even if it is, his attempts at radio hits always fail. At best, it'll have a high debut and quickly fall off the charts. I'm open to be proven wrong, though.
