As someone who has been a fan since 2008 and seen the hype to the release of Speak Now, Red, 1989 and Reputation, I think it's funny people still fall for this kind of thing - I remember Timeless and Roses, so when I saw all the theories I thought here we go again. However I fully believe Taylor does this on purpose, to create hype, it just loses its shine after the first few times.
Still very excited for the lead single off the new project whenever that might come!

Is she holding back because of JoBros? As they're both on Republic, it seems very likely that they would want to avoid releasing on the same date. But as they're both on Republic, it seems very unlikely that she/her team wouldn't have known about the Jonas Brothers releasing prior to the Instagram posts (at least the last few). Not exactly sure what's going on, but I still feel like her "I see you all guessing" post pretty much confirmed she had/has something planned. At the very least, it gave her fans reason to think something is coming -- and thus reason to be disappointed if nothing does. I do think she could get by with it not being a new single/album, but I don't think she could get by with it JUST being the Elle essay. |

Delicate is still going strong at AC radio too. It has been #2 at AC for weeks and weeks and weeks and did great even during that horrible Christmas period when the Christmas songs dominated the whole chart.

Yeah, it should end up in the top 10 biggest AC hits of the decade and the biggest of her career so far.
I still think we're going to get new music soon even if it didn't come out on the day I initially expected (I'd say around Wed/Thu I was already starting to suspect I was wrong). Her Elle US cover should come out next Wednesday so that's another opportunity to announce new music.

Why would she post the 7 palm trees with the pic randomly that obviously would line up with her 7th album? And start just randomly posting pictures regularly after being so sporadic with her Instagram? I am not sure what day, but something is definitely coming.
