She'll be opening the VMAs tonight. My ideal Taylor Swift performance would be her opening on piano with "Lover" before a costume change and a massive performance of "The Man" with female dancers in suits a la "ME!". Knowing her though she'll just do "You Need To Calm Down" with an extended intro :( She has to perform Lover, right? It just feels like a weird song to open with. I'd guess Lover and then build into YNTCD just to end on an upbeat note? |

Yeah, they're both going to be top 10 next week. She rarely does two songs though so I'm just excited to see the transition and the performance they've worked on. I'm a sucker for medleys and mashups when they're well thought out.

Also don't know how this pairing works, in an ideal world I would pair "YNTCD" with "I Forgot You Existed". |
