you're my my my myyyy lover.
This album is still getting heavy play from me. "Lover", "Cruel Summer", "Miss Americana...", "I Think He Knows" and "Cornelia Street" particularly are the standouts for me.

False God. Taylor Swift meets The Weeknd. That fucking OUTRO.
I think it’s a single that could be a career song.

Taylor mentioned that she's been listening to what her fans have been saying about the re-recordings and it seems like they want the original production, but that she's also considering adding extra versions of songs with new production.
Also the tour is currently being planned and she'd really like to come back to France (do we believe her?).

The man should be the I Did Something Bad of the album where she gives an epic performance at some random award show after the tour and album era ends as a final closer

So I know I’m going on a rant here, but I finally understood False God.
The juxtaposition of people blindly following a faith in “God” is comparable to the social constructs of “love”. An idealism that may not be at all, but has millions of people blinding clinging to faith/ practicing what they believe will encapsulate their lives into the “religion” of monogamy.
Even if the idea of “love” isn’t real, similar to how the essence of a “God” may not be real, she details that they’ll still worship (i.e try).
Her best written song to date.

What should Taylor perform on SNL on Oct 5? This will likely be her only televised performance during the Grammy voting period.
IMO she should do "Lover" and "Miss American...". The former is the latest single and will likely be her Grammy submission. The latter is close to pop lyric greatness.

IMO she should do something upbeat to counter it, either The Man or Cruel Summer. I think Miss Americana wouldn’t work as well for a performance.

Also, not everyone gets "Miss Americana...". Most people probably think its about high school. "The Man" is such a terrible song IMO though. "Cruel Summer" would be good.

I expect SNL to include “Lover” and another album track w/ hype — “Cruel Summer,” “The Man,” or ‘Miss Americana...’
I also think her & the Dixie Chicks will do “Soon You’ll Get Better” on the CMAs this year. Just a prediction, but since this year’s theme is so female-centric, it could make sense.

For SNL, Lover is a given. Why do I feel like the second track will just be YNTCD? I would love something else though. The Man could be a great option for a high impact, non-single, performance. I’m not sure I want her to waste a “premiere” performance of a future single.

Just a prediction, but since this year’s theme is so female-centric, it could make sense. I think she said Soon You'll Get Better is a song she'll never perform live. If she's ever able to gather the courage to do it, I think it would probably rather be for her We Can Survive performance.

She even left the room on all the secret sessions when that song played.

Like a 5-7 minute action movie-like video with high profile cameos. Something like the promo video Beyonce and Jay did for OTR tour, but better (if possible) and obviously relevant to the song's theme.

It's Nice To Have A Friend is being used in a trailer for "abominable" and going semi-viral with gay k-pop ship videos so maybe all the songs on the album will eventually reach 100m Spotify streams after all?

Is she performing in Brazil? Wow! This is her first gig in Latin America, so I hope a couple of more dates could be announced in the other countries.

She needs to add a Lover Fest South to Atlanta or Nashville!

There's totally gonna be a proper tour in 2021 (or later). This small festival experience sounds lovely though. Apart from the fact that it's going to be General Admission.

The fact that tour dates will presumably be after these festivals means they must feel confident this album will have a very long shelf life. I hope they're correct!

^ That's also around the time she's gonna start re-recording. She'll probably do the tour after that.

The email I just got says these are her only US concert dates for 2020. She better add some Canada ones...
I assume she'll tour in 2012 for Lover + her next album (kinda like Ariana did) or to support her re-releases.

I think she's definitely adding more Latin-American dates. It's just odd that she announced that Brazilian date alone now... especially considering it is the only non-festival concert on that list

Who's the one from Portugal again? Was that deepston? I really wonder what's the logic behind this schedule or if she really was just tired of touring and wanting a break as she said in one of the recent interviews (or is this related to Andrea?). Will she tour anywhere in the fall/winter before coming back to do stadiums in the US in summer 2021? Like she hasn't announced much for South America, and nothing for Oceania and Southeast Asia which she could do in the fall-winter (northern hemisphere), or maybe indoor venues. Or maybe this little summer tour will be exclusively Lover songs and then in 2021 she'll do more of a mix of Lover and older songs? Maybe we'll even have TS8 for 2021?
