I always assumed she would get married in 2020, record the 5 albums at the end of the year and use those to keep her name abuzz during a hypothetical pregnancy and then release new material in 2022. Because of this I thought we would get the normal big tour in 2020. Maybe Andrea is really sick (which makes me sick to my stomach to even think about) or she just wanted a break from the big tour lifestyle.

I read (on Twitter so might not be accurate) that a more traditional tour will follow towards the end of 2020.

Is she performing in Brazil? Wow! This is her first gig in Latin America, so I hope a couple of more dates could be announced in the other countries. I think she's definitely adding more Latin-American dates. It's just odd that she announced that Brazilian date alone now... especially considering it is the only non-festival concert on that list I didn't realize that the Brazilian date is the only non-festival concert, so thanks for clearing this up. Anyway, I agree with you that it will be odd if she only performs in São Paulo when she could add more dates in the other Latin American countries, even in other Brazilian cities, so let's see what happens.

I mean, I'm assuming it's not a festival lol. All the other dates have the name of a festival in front of the city, while the São Paulo date has just a location (Allianz Parque, a stadium)

I hope Taylor adds more tour dates, this is a small set. I figured with a new label she would want to do a bigger and better tour.Oh well there is hope for 2021.

I’ve had no desire to listen to this album again in full since it’s first week but the two songs I find myself returning to are Paper Rings and Cruel Summer. I find this album a bit boring compared to her past albums. I liked Lover (the song) when it was first released but it’s somewhat burned on me now.

That was a great interview. Thanks for posting the link. I knew there was more to the Kanye/Kim/Taylor feud. When it happened I wanted her to explain herself. But I’m glad she didn’t because no one would have heard her. Based on her explanation I can see why she “took an axe to a mended fence.”

I just read the article. Maybe I was living in a bubble but I don't remember the world hating Taylor Swift in 2016. I remember her coming off the incredible 1989 tour being successful and being fully embraced by Pop radio and winning Grammys. I remember being excited to see what she would follow it up with. But I don't recall "the world and everyone" hating her like she makes it out to seem in the article. Did I sleep thru something?

I think the whole Calvin Harris and Kanye west drama To do with This is what you came for and Famous. I mean it wasn't the whole world though to her it probably seemed like it was. She looks really washed in this shoot? The makeup is stunning however. Also I really hope this is the last time she brings up all of this drama from the past, it seems like ancient history at this point and it seems like everyone has moved on from it I hope she can/does too.

I’m sure she’s asked about it more than she brings it up

What a great interview. I think it’s often under served how intelligent she is. Before she could ever become an adult she has had to play to the audience of the world and that is simply unnatural. She’s classy but fierce. I respect the hell out of her.

But I don't recall "the world and everyone" hating her like she makes it out to seem in the article. Did I sleep thru something? I think the internet does tend to amplify negativity and make things like this seem worse than they were, and being as image conscious/self-conscious as she is, Taylor probably amplified it even further. I don't think it's inaccurate to say that the overall public narrative around her was negative in mid to late 2016, which I'd say mostly had to do with the Famous phone call. Probably most people did not bother looking into it too closely, but they were still aware that the dominant public narrative was that she seems to have acted deceitfully. Regardless of whether that was true, it was seen as quite scandalous because it shattered the flawless image she was trying to maintain. IMO it also tainted how people saw her in the various other situations she was involved in and caused them to have a more negative spin than they otherwise would have. There was always some mild negativity around her, I think articles that spoke of her negatively drew a lot of clicks from both those who wanted to see her downfall and fans who wanted to defend her from slander. 1989 era was pretty positive overall, but you still had some Welcome To Gentrification criticism, people upset at the twerking in Shake It Off, the "squad" of skinny models and actresses, calling the imagery in Wildest Dreams colonialist, etc. I think the last year or two have been some of the most positive in her career actually though, perhaps in part thanks to a lower profile? So I'm glad that she's managed to turn that around.

Taylor's new Rolling Stone Interview is great. She basically touched on every single topic from the last three years that we wanted answers to. She spoke great on all of them. She even spoke on the politics controversy of her coming out. Really the best interview of the era by far.

Yeah I know people that post annually on the anniversary date that Kim leaked those tapes “never forget...” and months of negative memes.

I think that might be one of my favorite print interviews ever. I love this side of her.
Also, the cover (and photoshoot in general) is iconic.

Getting mentally prepared to spend hours on the line of a shop in order to buy the tickets while my boyfriend waits at home in front of 2 computers to try to buy the tickets online. I swear if these tickets sell out before I get one I'll cry for months...

What a great interview. I think it’s often under served how intelligent she is. I had the same thought. She’s remarkably well-spoken and thoughtful. 1989 era was pretty positive overall, but you still had some Welcome To Gentrification criticismThis is a new one to me. LMAO at that phrase. Social implications notwithstanding, “Welcome to New York” is possibly her most unintentionally silly song. “Boys and boys and girls and girls” cracks me up to this day.

Is her show at sofi stadium a Taylor Swift concert or a festival? I'll go if it's her show and I can get decent seats. I'm not quite sure what's decent in that stadium though since its new. She's going to be the first event at the new 5B stadium:

It's ostensibly both. It's her concert that they're building a festival around.

Going through a breakup, and Death By A Thousand Cuts is really helping me! Those lyrics!
I ask the traffic lights if it’ll be alright, they say I... Don’t... Know...
I get drunk but it’s not enough, cause the morning comes and you’re not my baby
Taylor got me!!
