@drakeisskinny Is "God's Plan" certified Diamond yet? What about "In My Feelings"? What is its current U.S certification?
GP is 8x platinum and IMF is not even certified. Last certifications for Drake songs as a lead artist were dated June 29, 2018. To complete, NFW is only certified 3x platinum and Scorpion is 1x platinum. So it seems Drake hadn't cared to have them recertified.

You're the last person who should be calling someone's behavior childish. I’ve been watching the posts for a while. Both you guys and hot100predictions are wrong. Just leave each other alone and stop bullying each other. Why are you always trying to look for a fight with everyone and make matters worse? Yes I’m childish sometimes too, but you guys are being very on this matter and instead of having good convos here it’s turning this forums trash and not decent quality. I’d love for it to go back to on topic and quality discussion without bullying each other. Let people predict and like and hate what they want without others throwing their harsh opinions in a bullying way at them. My problem is not his predictions, it's the inability to have a mature conversation. I think I've said this two or three times now, I don't know any other way to say it. |

So... that Billie Eilish is doing some impressive #s, right? Kinda sad that "bad guy" will be her first top 10 hit because "bury a friend" was screwed by her team with a midweek release.

This is completely opinion-based of course, but I've listened to OTR several times now and it will be very hard for me to ever get to liking this song, I really hope it's not #1 for 10+ weeks (the remix with BRC is even worse, not sure why it's selling double the original). To me it's just this cheesy, monotonous hip-hop parody of a country song. Airplay, while climbing steadily, is still very low and not exploding or anything (these novelty meme songs almost never get huge airplay), so without that it will be a tall order for it to be #1 for 10+ weeks. The streaming and/or sales will have to continue to be HUGE for a long time to overcome that. I don't predict that will happen, hopefully it will only have a Panda or Bad and Boujee-type run.

No doubt OTR is gonna spend weeks at #1, but we should know that there might be surprise releases on the horizon. We shouldn’t assume OTR will be Song of the summer.

How would we know when the song of the summer is already? It’s only April. In My Feelings was song of the summer 2018 and that song wasn’t even released until the end of June.

Most times the song of the summer is out by early spring, isn’t it? Especially since it takes at least a few months for them to rise to a peak position - though in some ways, the chart moves faster for some types of songs but generally speaking, I’d say the song of the summer is already out or will be out within the next couple weeks.

Ah, but that's not very useful from a chart watcher's perspective, because precedent shows that the Song of the Summer hasn't made itself apparent yet on the charts.

So unless those of y'all championing Old Town Road are insinuating that it will have the same freaky longevity Call Me Maybe had in the top 10 and not, more likely, a more Panda-esque run, it's silly to assume it's in the bag for the Song of the Summer.
