I was hoping to join, but couldn't get my act together. Can you tag me on the results? I'm celebrating a friends birthday today as well as wanting to make some graphics for the rankdown so if you're able to knock out a list today or at the very latest tomorrow I'll happily take it...plus that'll mean an even amount of participants! Otherwise if not I'll for sure tag you along for the results.

I'm going to reveal the bottom 3 this evening and in doing so we'll already see one studio album eliminated from the rankdown. The first song to leave will see someone lose a Top 25 while two others get a perfect ranking and along with that their bottom song leaving right out of the gate.

"How'd I Wind Up in Jamaica" was released as the third and final single from Tracy's eighth studio album The Truth About Men. Written by Casey Beathard and Michael P. Heeney, the song never really gained any traction at country radio and peaked at #53 in 2004. This was one of my least favorite songs from the album and I never understood why they went with this when they had plenty of other options to choose from. This song never managed to escape the bottom 5 and both .indulgecountry and myself were in agreement that this song deserved to be out first. Unfortunately George Strait Junkie loses what was almost a top 20 placement.

"Before I Die" is the first album track to depart as it was selected from Tracy's most recent studio album All American Texan released in 2016. This pretty much settled into last place for most of the rankdown and was only able to recover when the final list came in from kw9461 who unfortunately loses a top 15 while I lose a top 25 as well. This song wasn't able to connect with most of you, however, and it ended up receiving four bottom 5 placements.

"Take It to the Bank" is the second album track to leave and was also selected from Tracy's album All American Texan which means that becomes the first studio album to be eliminated. This should come as no surprise as there were never officially any singles released from the project as it was self-released.
While four of the participants including myself lose a top 25 most of the rankings for this came somewhere at or near the bottom 10 and therefore this was just never able to gain much traction and more or less settled into the bottom 5 towards the middle of the rankdown.

That album cover is still what nightmares are made of.
ETA: Also yay @ me off to a good start with 3 songs I correctly pegged to be in the bottom 5, and two of which I got a perfect ranking on.

No real surprises so far, though I'm sad no one else enjoyed Before I Die. It was a new discovery for me, but I really liked it. The first verse was really good, great imagery and a strong melody - even if his voice is a bit weathered. How'd I Wind Up In Jamaica is a decent song, but it was such a puzzling single choice, it was pretty much DOA.

Had no idea that "How'd I Wind Up In Jamaica" would end up last... The song is definitely not anywhere near his best, but I found it more middling than bad. I would probably never skip it, but never really seek it out either. Would not have been my pick for last place, but then again Tracy doesn't really have any songs that are outright bad, so this song must have just been the one that was unlucky enough to leave the most amount of people underwhelmed.
"Before I Die" was a great song! My #36 ranking is just a testament to how strong this list is! I found it a little boring, but would still probably rate it a solid 7.5/10. Not surprised to see it out towards the bottom, but it is still a great song!
"Take It To The Bank" took me a few listens to get into, but I really enjoyed it when I made the final draft of my list. Just like its fellow sibling from the same album, however, my enjoyment was only enough to give it a rank in the 30s. I have no problem seeing this leave now.

"Why Don't That Telephone Ring" was released as the fourth single from Tracy's self-titled debut album and was the follow-up to his first number one single "Holdin' Heaven". Written by Charles Quillen and Ron Hellard, this peaked just inside the top 40 at #39 in late 1993. Four top 25's are lost here with LBTrocks almost losing a top 20. Four others lose a bottom 5 including George Strait Junkie and bboat11 with their perfect ranking.

"Good Ol' Fashioned Love" was released as the fourth and final single from Tracy's fourth studio album Big Love. It was the only single released from the album to miss the Top 40 and peaked at #47 in late 1997. recordyear loses a top 20 placement with two others losing a top 25. Kanenrá:ke and myself both lose a bottom 5 along with a perfect ranking! Due to this receiving quite a few mid-level top 30 rankings this was never able to escape the bottom 5 where it remained the entire time.

"Take Me with You When You Go" was releases as the third and final single from Tracy's 1999 album It's About Time. Written by singer-songwriter Jenifer Hanson and Mark Nesler, this was only able to peak at #43 on the country charts in late 2000. While this did receive some support from the likes of LBTrocks who placed this just inside their top 15, it ended up receiving two bottom 5 rankings from castleoblivion26 and Cody Wants Out... which more or less prevented it from moving up any further.
