I find sites like giphy and other gif-centric sites don’t show properly so if I have a clever gif I want to use, I have to scour google looking for one posted from tumblr or something else.

Anyone know why this forum doesn't allow embedding from secure image servers? TinyPic is going away, and was the only remaining non-secure image host that I could find. How will anyone embed images? Am I missing something? Looks like Pulse isn't hosted on a secure server, so that probably explains the reason secure images won't embed. Plans to move to secure? Maybe Kurt knows? ProBoards doesn't offer the option to install SSL certificates – only on their (paid?) sister product, Forums.net. ProBoards-wide things like the registration/login form and purchase forms are secured. Supposedly it's in the pipeline for forums to be secure as well. |

Sites like Giphy have multiple types of links so you should go to the menu called Copy Link and then choose the GIF Link type and then copy that and then you can embed it in a post using the  button to get the coding for that.   I find that it doesn't work as well through Taptalk or some mobile/tablet browsers. |

You can upload images/GIFs direct from your camera roll via Tapatalk and it'll automatically convert it into an embedded link.

How i put gif on personal notes or signature? I edited your signature and I inserted the link of the .gif you posted as an image there. If you want to add/edit your signature by yourself, just use the insert image code there and any .gif should be uploaded there. It's preferable that it's 500x150. Regarding personal notes, as it's mentioned there, it's a space where you can only see something that it's written by you. |
