Ok but why does it end in a food fight? Didn’t she do that before? I feel ripped off Food fight in the background (all the stans fighting each other) while Katy and Taylor dressed as food were the only ones not fighting. Yeah but why? Why a food fight? It’s such an unimaginative twist. |

As a raging homo and drag queen I wasnt impressed but its a cute video. Typical of what a cis woman thinks gays would like. God I miss agile Britney Spears. Work bitch is more my subtle gay anthems or Sissy that Walk! This will do in a pinch. I dont think it hurts to have more representation so cool! I’m gay and I really like the video. You can’t speak for all “gays.” We are a large and diverse group. Actually Coco is the official gay spokesperson for the board so she's allowed. Sorry if you weren't informed. |

Coco isn't claiming to speak for all the gays, just that she herself is part of the community, meaning her opinion should be valued differently given the context of the video being aimed at her culture. "As a X" isn't a phrase that means "I am X, so I speak for all X," it means "I am X, so take that into consideration when I state my opinion." Just like if I were to have prefaced this conversation with "As someone who knows Coco," I wouldn't be saying I am speaking for all people on this board that know Coco. |

It was a subtle way of saying I'm tired of the narrative that popular culture has painted as the gay scene being one homogeneous thing. That's why I said the video and song is cute but I want more from people with a big platform. Something different but I accept this is what she wanted to do and that is fine too |

Missed opportunity: Katy should’ve dressed as a tiger in the video. Taylor, a shellfish or a sheep. Katy shouldve dressed as the basketball player short hair Katy Perry like Swish Swish video and Taylor dressed like Bad Blood video LOL Video is cute. Katy was sooo beautiful. The Katy Taylor hug each other was cute. |

this is cute. nothing special, but miles better then Me and it easily shouldve been the first single. video is nice too.
as for the whole shtick about her exploiting the gays...has there ever been a mainstream pro lgbt single that HASNT been accused of this? sure, in a perfect world we would have more out, gay pop stars delivering this message, but what Taylor is doing here will easily do in a pinch. i swear to god, some people are impossible to please...

Taylor's video so far only has 17 Million views with 5 Hours left. I notice it is frozen. But why such a low amount of Views for Taylor. "Me!" got 65 Million in 24 hours and this is gonna end up much lower. I expected more for a such a great song and video from Taylor. This is gonna end up lower than the Video Debuts from Rep.
