Taylor's first day Youtube MV views were probably more US centric than usual due to the time of release. It seems like it's only today that it's really been starting to catch on in Asia. Looks like the MV gave it a decent boost on Spotify and AM in addition to the great boost we've seen on iTunes.

Rock Your Baby was one of the rare r&b/soul hits that were hits in my home country back in the 1970s.

CAN DRAKE OUTSTREAM X?
After two days of reports, Drake f/Rick Rossโ โMoney in the Graveโ (Frozen Moments/Republic) collected more than 10m U.S. streams and currently holds the top spot on both the Spotify and Apple Music streaming charts. But will he be the one to finally unseat Lil Nas X with the most-streamed song of the week? Lil Nas X's โOld Town Roadโ was streamed about 35m times in the week ending 6/13. In celebration of the Toronto Raptors' NBA championship, โMoney in the Graveโ was released one day into the chart week. So, is that shortened week enough for Drake to celebrate his own win? โOld Town Roadโ has been the top-streamed song in the U.S. since the week ending 4/11, taking on all the Porsches that have tried to top Lil Nasโ horse: two new releases from Taylor Swift (โME!โ f/Brendon Urie, โYou Need to Calm Downโ), as well as two from Ed Sheeran (โI Donโt Careโ w/Justin Bieber, โCross Meโ f/Chance the Rapper & PnB Rock), plus music by Katy Perry, Shawn Mendes, Miley Cyrus, Cardi B and Logic & Eminem. hitsdailydouble.com/news&id=316856&title=CAN-DRAKE-OUTSTREAM-X%3F-

Money In The Grave had 3.6M streams on U.S. Spotify in its first two days combined, so... 6.5M+ "non-Spotify" on-demand streams. Also, this is the first week and Spotify's weekly chart streams are always (~5%) bigger than the sum of the seven days.
I expect 30M-35M on-demand streams for both songs (MITG and OTR).

week 14 : young thug remix week 15 : version with billy + young thug + new verse from nas week 16 : otr the movie( extended version)/ black & white version week 17: bundles bundles bundles week 18 : skrillex remix of the diplo remix I'm really sure Lil Nas X plays the chart game very well, knows what stuff to go for next when it's in the brink of going down. I wish somebody take OTR down. Adele, Post? Rihanna??

I could see Blow, Beautiful People, Antisocial, South of the Border and maaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaybe 1000 Nights becoming massive but it really all depends on promotion.

Can we talk about how beautifully "Never Really Over" is rebounding? It moved up 6 spots to #15 on US Spotify with second biggest gains in streams (behind "You Need To Calm Down"โwhich posted significant gains thx to the music video which Katy's a big part of). It's up to #51 on Apple Music, and radio is gaining as well. YouTube is not strong, but Katy always had a more international audience there so it's not that surprising. I feel like this might be her first solo top ten since "Roar."

All are viable contenders to become hits although I'll replace "1000 Nights" with "Remember The Name" because people may likely don't know who A Boogie Wit Da Hoodie is, like "Cross Me" where does people know PnB Rock is too?

I don't think A Boogie Wit Da Hoodie is comparable to PnB Rock. The only way he usually gets high positions is with features. A Boogie Wit Da Hoodie has had a hit song make the year-end list, and it's 3x Platinum ("Drowning"), and he also had two hits after that with "Look Back At It" and "Swervin'", the latter of which wasn't even a single.

Are you all talking about which songs on Ed Sheeranโs album will be hits?

The answer is pretty much "who cares" as OTR will get huge streamings from Youtube anyway.

Hopefully EP's release gives OTR the boost on US radio cause it may just started declining. :(

IMO, Post is the most impressive artist in this decade Bruno, Ariana, Adele, Drake, etc? His run is impressive so far, but itโs only been 2 years. Even Ke$ha was doing similar to this from Right Round to Timber. His success is still extremely impressive. Not to mention his chart longevity is beyond crazy, it's rare to see artists who can pull off his level of longevity.

Not to mention his chart longevity is beyond crazy, it's rare to see artists who can pull off his level of longevity. Codex wasn't saying it wasn't impressive, just that it's not the most impressive of the decade. When you've got artists with multiple songs with runs over a year in length, artists with unprecedented weekly streaming and sales numbers, artists with an unprecedented amount of top ten hits, artists with boggling lengths at number one, artists that have rebounded to crazy heights after a seeming career end, and artists that have these things, but over the span of multiple decades, it's hard to point to Post Malone's stats and say his are the most impressive of the decade. Is he in an elite group of artists that have done extremely well? Yes, but that doesn't make him the most elite of the elite. We can all be impressed by stats without the need for hyperbole.

Thug teases tracks daily that never see the light.

I can totally see Post being at his peak now with two simultaneous smash hits. His next big single will do super well too but like the feature on DJ Khaled's song proved, his name alone can't make song a hit.

His next big single will do super well too but like the feature on DJ Khaled's song proved, his name alone can't make song a hit. From what I know correctly, "Celebrate" is not released as a single. But yeah, not all Post songs do big, another example would be his feature on Lorde's "Homemade Dynamite" with Khalid and SZA (which I think was released during the time "rockstar" leads the charts).

The Ed and Travis Scott song is gonna be a massive hit, it sounds amazing Probably more Em & 50 song. At least in US Revival era......., should consider the hype of return 50 & Em and their fanbase (specially Em) are stronger than Travis
