"Something's Gotta Give" is a fantastic song, but I am okay with it going here. Everything that is left is incredible, every remaining position is SUPER valuable real estate! There were probably some fierce competitions between the remaining songs trying to fight for space in the top 10.

Unfortunately, some people consistently go out of their way to tank it every time it appears in rankdowns............... And we already knew who one of those would be... 14. "She Didn't Have Time" ~ Terri Clark She was thinking, gosh, he's handsome When he asked, "Do you have kids?" She could've lied, but she didn't have time All she said was, "She's five." He said, "I saw the car seat, I love kids, does she have your eyes?" “She Didn’t Have Time” was released as the lead-off single to Terri’s sixth studio album Life Goes On. While the song was only a Top 25 hit it remains a fan favorite to this day. Thanks to the early top-ranking from Kanenrá:ke this shot up into the top 10 where it actually remained for most of the time. This continued to garner plenty of support along the way and even briefly snuck into the top 5 thanks to a second top-ranking placement from taylor is terrified . Much to her heartbreak, though, this ended up settling further back as the final lists came which included back-to-back bottom 5’s from toomuchboy and LBTrocks along another near bottom 10 from SHOOTER . A final top 5 from Troublemaker just wasn’t enough to get this back into the top 10 as it becomes the second song to leave the top 15.

13. "Because of You" ~ Reba McEntire (w/ Kelly Clarkson) I lose my way And it's not too long before you point it out I cannot cry because I know that's weakness in your eyes I'm forced to fake a smile, a laugh everyday of my life Total: 427 Average: 21.35 Std Dev: 15.6 {Songs Remaining}Baby Girl Backseat of a Greyhound Bus Better Get to Livin' Don't Worry 'Bout a Thing Forever and for Always I Hope You Dance Kerosene Mississippi Girl On Your Way Home The Long Way Around When God-Fearin' Women Get the Blues Who I Am

“Because of You” was released as the lead single to Reba’s twenty-seventh studio album Reba: Duets which featured Kelly Clarkson re-recording her previous hit from 2005. The song peaked at number two on the country charts and was nominated for Best Vocal Country Collaboration at the 50th Grammy Awards. While this got off to a rocky start from Kanenrá:ke ’s lone bottom 5 it was able to quickly rebound back into the top 20 as it collected its first top 5 from bboat11 and another top 10 from someguy . It briefly backtracked yet again but landed back into the top 15 where it remained for most of its time. After just losing a bottom 5 toomuchboy now loses a top 5 while four others lose a top 10.

“Better Get to Livin’” was the lead-single from Dolly’s forty-second studio album and was her first single release on Parton’s own record label, Dolly Records. This received enough support early on to make it a top 20 contender where it remained until austin came along with a near bottom 5. It was able to quickly rebound, however, and bounced back up into the top 15 until finally landing just a couple spots shy of the top 10. Both .indulgecountry and BackwoodsBarbie lose a top 5 while gardyfan and BackwoodsBarbie lose a top 10; a handful of participants also lose a top 15.

I'm glad that "Because of You" made it near the top 10, amazing song in general and Reba and Kelly KILLED it as a duet!

Dolly Parton did so much better here than I ever would've imagined! I thought that she would've ended up in the 20s or 30s with this song because it's not something that is among one of her many defining hits. I'm so happy it came so close to the top 10 in the end. It's my favorite song of her's. On the other hand, as much as I love LeAnn Rimes, "Something's Gotta Give" has always been near the bottom of her big hits for me. I love all of the other singles from This Woman so much more than that one. There's something grating to me about the melody and the production that keeps me from fulling getting into it. "Nothin' 'bout Love Makes Sense" is everything that one isn't for me: a total undeniable jam. The two ballad singles from the album are also among her very best imo.

I enjoy "Better Get to Livin'," but the list was really strong. I would've ranked "Jesus & Gravity" higher.

Alright let's unmask the final song to miss the top 10 shall we! Coming right up is the 10th least polarizing song of the rankdown which sees another #1 loss along with a lone bottom 5...oh and it only missed the top 10 by a mere ONE POINT!

“Don’t Worry ‘Bout a Thing” was released as the third and final single from SHeDAISY’S third studio album Sweet Right Here. The song was the fourth and final Top Ten hit of the group’s career where it peaked at #7 in 2005. It couldn’t quite reach that same peak here as it misses the top 10 by a mere one point and came in as the 10th least polarizing song of the rankdown. This glided up into the top 10 and even flirted with the top 5 when austin came in with his top-ranking placement. It ended up sliding back a bit if only because of the stiff competition ahead of it but eased right back in as it continued to receive a string of top 5’s from d3vin44 , LBTrocks , and castleoblivion26 . This only slipped out of the top 10 with the final two lists and even nickd ’s final top 20 ranking couldn’t move this one up any further. This likely wouldn’t have been the case, however, as we have a lone bottom 5 from taylor is terrified .

¡ENCORE!
LeAnn Rimes "What I Can Not Change" All the rest is out of my hands I will learn to let go what I cannot change I will learn to forgive what I cannot change I will learn to love what I cannot change
Terri Clark "No Fear" I used to hit every wall there was I used to run away from love All I ever wanted was right here But I had to reach way down inside I had to have faith I'd find...No fear
Reba McEntire "I'll Be" I'll be the rock that will be strong for you The one that will hold on to you When you feel that rain falling down When there's nobody else around I'll Be Reba McEntire & LeAnn Rimes "When You Love Someone Like That" Girl it ain't right, it just ain't right Don't tell yourself that it was you You followed your heart, you gave it your best There's nothing more you can do
Dolly Parton "Travelin' Thru" Questions I have many, answers but a few But we're here to learn, the spirit burns, to know the greater truth We've all been crucified and they nailed Jesus to the tree And when I'm born again, you're gonna see a change in me
SHeDaisy "I'm Taking the Wheel" It's a knock-down drag-out fight Tongue-tied and twisted we can go all night You're comin' with me and here's the deal Baby slide on over

Wow, this top 10 is STACKED! I have left: 2, 4, 6, 9, 12, 15, 20, 21, 22, 35 I'd honestly be happy with any of these winning. My least favorite remaining is a bit of jump down from where the rest are ranked in or just outside my top 20, but even that one is a great song (that said, it has 0 chance of taking the win here though so it's whatever, lol). I'll take a random stab at predictions for how the rest will go: 01. Backseat of a Greyhound Bus 02. Baby Girl 03. Kerosene 04. Who I Am 05. Forever and for Always 06. On Your Way Home 07. Mississippi Girl 08. I Hope You Dance 09. The Long Way Around 10. When God-Fearin' Women Get the Blues

Songs are getting better so so are my comment.
* "Red High Heels" ~ Kellie Pickler definitely one of my favorite reveals. She kinda sounds like a young Dolly Parton.
* Cyndi Thomson has some killer sexy tones.
* "Jezebel" ~ Chely Wright is great. It has some serious country jamboree Violin vibes. She also reminds ma a bit of Joanna Pettet when she struts down the hall in black. Easy Top 5
* "This One's for the Girls" The RD is named after this song? Great uptempo vibe.
* "Better Get to Livin'" ~ Dolly Parton. F U C K yeah. Dolly Parton.
* "Don't Worry 'bout a Thing" ~ SHeDAISY. This jam has a lot of attitude. Great to see a girl band perform with real instruments. The guys did pretty good too.
* SheDaisy - "I'm Taking the Wheel". Another great one. Shoulda been on the list. Lucky Aaron Eckhart that F U C K. He got to ride with Kristyn.
after this set of great rocking vibes the top 10 better be stellar

Honorable Mentions Here are the last of the artists previously highlighted earlier during the reminders and I've also added one more as a special request from Darkest Hour !
Mallary Hope "Love Lives On" And even though I cry like crazy Even though it hurts so bad I'm thankful for the time God gave me I'm learning how to live without you But even with you gone Love lives on
Gretchen Peters "Tomorrow Morning" You were always looking for the silver lining I was always waiting for the rain Every now and then I need reminding Love is never really love in vain
The Marie Sisters "Real Bad Mood" Don't play me no rock 'n' roll I don't want to dance Don't play me no hillbilly I'm too blue for grass And that chessy easy listenin' stuff is for elevator fools I'm in a real bad mood
Emmylou Harris "Red Dirt Girl" Somewhere out there is a great big world That's where I'm bound But one of these days I'm gonna swing my hammer down Away from this red dirt town I'm gonna make a joyful sound
Mindy Smith "One Moment More" Give me just one part of you to cling to And keep me everywhere you are It's just enough to steal my heart and run And fade out with the falling sun

I still don't get how that song wasn't massive tbh. It had so much going for it in terms of just being a home run song vocally and lyrically.
