What on earth is Kerosene doing in top 5?? It's one of my least favourite Miranda Lambert singles. Overall It's pretty weak top 5 and I just hope that my #2 wins this.
A lot of good songs ended up on places between 15 and 5. I'm actually very pleasantly surprised that Better Get to Livin ended up so high. Backwoods Barbie is one of my all time favourite albums and BGTL is great song. Forever and for Always is one of the best Shania Twain songs, Baby Girl is my favourite Sugarland song and I also like Who I Am a lot so I'm a little disappointed that neither one of them made it into top 5.

Pleasantly surprised to see my #8 make top-5; it was my second favorite discovery! And as long as my 36 doesn’t win, I’ll be happy with the outcome!

Not terrible. Love all the songs left, but my #1 might be my favorite song of all time. Super underrated song by an underrated artist (outside of the pulse community that is)

2, 19, 22, 33, 40 lol
Rooting for my #2 but would be happy with any besides my #40. I liked it the first year it was out but it has since been so played to death, I can't enjoy it anymore at all.

I have my 10, 12, 15, 20 and 25 left
I'd like my #10 to win, I guess, but I don't see it happening

I don't mind any of my top 10 winning but my 16 and 20 really shouldn't be top 10 anywhere

The Long Way Around is boosted by that controversy too much. It isn't an interesting way to reflect on that anyway. Probably would have ranked Who I Am quite a bit higher now, but those "alri-ia-ia-ia-ia-ght" and "fi-ia-ia-ia-ia-ne"s are still annoying.

Well I know everyone is anxious to see how the top 5 plays out so let's get to it! The first song to exit includes three top 5's along with someone's second top ranking song and a near bottom 5 from another...

“I Hope You Dance” was released as the lead single to the album of the same name and has since gone on to become Lee Ann’s signature song. The song won numerous awards including the CMA and ACM Song of the Year honors along with the Grammy Award for Best Country Song. While this didn’t manage to make it into the top 5 in Lee Ann Womack’s artist rankdown it was able to make it in at the last moment thanks to the final list from nickd who again managed to shake things up quite a bit. He is joined in the top 5 by BackwoodsBarbie , bboat11 , and myself as well as a trio of top 10’s from Troublemaker , .indulgecountry , and Darkest Hour . All but three of the participants placed this inside their top 30 which included a near bottom 5 from Kanenrá:ke . There really wasn’t any other song that I had considered for this and I’m very happy to see it make it into the top 5!

Our second song to exit the top 5 matches its peak in her artist rankdown and includes four #2s and a countless number of top 20s...

“On Your Way Home” was released as the second single and title track to Patty’s thirteenth studio album. The song peaked just inside the Top 30 in 2003 marking her last appearance in the country top 40. This song matches its peak in her artist rankdown that was hosted by castleoblivion26 earlier last year. This remained a consistent top 5 contender for most of its run and even flirted with the top 2 numerous times early on. Four participants lose their second top ranking song including castleoblivion26 , Kanenrá:ke, George Strait Junkie , Troublemaker . Three more lose a top 10 ranking while a handful also depart with a top 15. Overall this received widespread support with only two putting it outside of their top 40.

"On Your Way Home" is one of Patty's best. Absolutely beautiful song. That melody is just a goldmine and her voice wraps around it so perfectly.

“Kerosene” was released as the third single and title-track to Miranda’s debut album. The song peaked inside the top 15 and became her first Top 20 country hit in early 2006. Much to the chagrin of BackwoodsBarbie this comes in just short of the final two where it ended up having a steady climb into the top 10 as it garnered a lot of early support including the first top 5 ranking it received from castleoblivion26 . It then leaped into the top 5 where it remained for the rest of the time. With additional top 5’s coming in from Darkest Hour , Cody Wants Out... , LBTrocks , and austin this flirted with the top 2 a handful of times towards the latter part of the rankdown and was given an additional boost with the only top ranking it received rom SHOOTER . This ended up getting regulated to the top 3, however, as BackwoodsBarbie came in with a lone bottom 5.

And then there were two!! | VS | |
In a fitting end it all comes down to the Sara Stans vs. the Martina Stans! Sara says Hallelujah I am glory bound! while Martina says There ain't no time to lose!...so will it be "Backseat of a Greyhound Bus" or "When God-Fearin' Women Get the Blues" both of which are vying for their first rankdown win?! Stay tuned!
