No love for Mindy Smith?  Mindy is certainly someone I had considered showcasing but as always with these kind of rankdowns it’s hard to try and include everyone. While Mindy gained notoriety for her cover version of “Jolene” she never charted a song on the country charts but did have a minor adult contemporary hit with “Come to Jesus” in 2004. |

Thanks to gardyfan and .indulgecountry we are now into the double digits!! While we are no where near the same amount of participants we had for the previous two series I think overall we have seen a leveling off across most country rankdowns so I'm going to close this for submissions as scheduled. With that said this is your THREE DAY REMINDER that this is due FRIDAY, NOVEMBER 1ST! Okay, so I went ahead and submitted. Some of these songs are so stinkin' good that I kept freezing up on where exactly I wanted to put them at, though. Ultimately, my #1 will probably provide some potential shock value and, as a consequence, become one of the first ones eliminated. My other #1 contenders weren't that much better tbh...
By the by, I've also reached the point where my ranks are just numbers to me and don't necessarily reflect whether I'm infatuated with a set of songs or would rather see them die in a fire scratched from the surface of the earth, so my apologies if I end up 'tanking' a song or two...or twenty! ;)

What the fuck am I gonna do with this RD. The songs are all over the map and I LOVE it. Lots of songs I clearly hate. But also lots of songs I clearly LOVE. I don't even know how I'm going to pull a list together for this one! But I will. I am determined. I'm just sayin tho, it ain't gonna be easy.

I kind of have a list ready but there's still around 35 songs in the middle of my list that are mostly songs I didn't know before starting the RD and that I don't really feel strongly about yet (either positively or negatively) and have a hard time deciding how to rank.
